Revolution Muslim Looks Like a CIA Operation:A New Breed of Mockingbird

by Scott Creighton

This is rumor control, here are the facts.”

Yesterday I posted an angry rant directed at “liberal” Jon Stewart for his “Go Fuck Yourselves” segment which was nothing more than his promotion of the “radical, dangerous, freedom-hating Muslim” meme which only serves to stir-up the old Bush-era “fear the bad Muslims” feelings in your average Americans.

Yesterday, I suggested that this entire “Revolution Muslim” threat against the creators of South Park was an obvious ploy designed to demonize Muslims and that if Jon Stewart had fulfilled his responsibility as a journalist, he would have quickly seen past this obviously staged side-show event.

I took a lot of flak for that post. Since then, through most of the night and all of today, I have done more research on the matter and I have come to decide that I stand by my original statement…

Jon Stewart, Go Fuck Yourself. You should have known better.

We liberals and progressives who make up your audience expect this kind of over-hyped “propaganda as news” to pass through what’s laughably called a fact-check filter at places like the New York Times or Fox News, but the people who watch your show, Mr. Stewart, expect something with a little more integrity out of you.  Maybe this should be our wake-up call.

Or maybe it should be yours.

So yes, I have carefully reviewed all the info I can find on the matter and this is what I can bring to the table…. Revolution Muslim is probably a CIA “Mockingbird” type operation designed to create fear and loathing of “radical” Muslims.

First: The “radical Muslims” didn’t threaten to kill Matt and Trey… a fact often overlooked by “news” organizations bringing you this story.

In fact, NYPD Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said what they did was not a crime.  Now how is that possible after all of this breathless blogging and outrage from people like Jon Stewart? This is what was actually said on the Revolution Muslim website…

We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them. Revolution Muslim

The website also posted an image of Theo Van Gogh lying on the ground dead after being stabbed. Now, one can say that the threat is implied, and that is valid to me (In fact, there is an ex-reader from this site who is facing charges for implied threats that weren’t even on this level, if they were even threats at all (the now famous “rat story”)). However… I receive death threats pretty regularly, most political bloggers of this nature do. The threats are rather specific. But does the world shut down? Do I take them seriously? No.

Did Matt and Trey take the threat seriously? No, according to Matt and Trey. In fact, their show that got censored actually included a veiled reference to the last time they portrayed the Muslim prophet Muhammad in which one of the characters comments “and nothing happened”, or something to that effect.

So, “the reality” of what would likely happen, was NOTHING.  Nothing was likely to happen.

The language was not a death threat, South Park’s history proves there was nothing to worry about, and the New York Police Commissioner said there was no crime committed.

So why all the hype? That is the good question…

Second: It was a stupid blog entry on a website no one sees which is obviously a fake “radical” Muslim site designed to foster hatred toward Muslims.

Revolution Muslim was founded in 2007 by Yousef al-Khattab (born Joseph Cohen) and Younes Abdullah Muhammad who are both converts to Islam. In late December 2009, Khattab (Cohen) is reported to have left the website. In early April 2010 (just in time?) Younes also quit the site.  Now it was reported that in Dec. 2009, when Khattab (Cohen) left the site,  Abdullah as-Sayf Jones (born David Scott Jones) was put in charge.  Jones (Jones) may have also quit the group in April claiming to have embraced the Ashari Aqeedah and had become a practitioner of Sufism.

So far, that is three of the 5 or so people of “Revolution Muslim” that are actually alleged converts to Islam, with at least one of them being a former Israeli settler (Cohen). But, there is another member of Revolution Muslim, Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee and he too just happens to be a convert to Islam.

Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee (aka Zach Chesser) lives in Virginia and he is taking the “heat” for being the one who posted the “warning” to Matt and Trey. He showed up on Fox News and did an interview.  Amrikee (Chesser) attended George Mason University, for how long, it is not clear. According to the story he was “radicalized” at that point sometime, but there isn’t much on that either.  Chesser lives in Fairfax, Co. Va. and attended Oakton High School.

Now here’s the interesting part… how does a site that isn’t really getting many page views and that average Muslims consider a CIA “trap” site, end up getting prime-time coverage every time they make a ridiculous claim or statement designed to piss people off? How did their “death threat” that wasn’t a death threat shut down Comedy Central and dominate the news cycle for several days?  Revolution Muslim didn’t have many subscribers, not many page views… so how did that happen?

This might help answer those questions…

Remember where Fox News reported in a subtly free article called “Road to Radicalism” that the “converted” terrorist, Zach Chesser lived? Fairfax county.  Guess what else is in Fairfax county Virginia?  That’s right… just 9 short miles from where the “radical” Muslim went to high school in Oakton, straight up route 123, is a little office known as Langley… the CIA. Look at this Google image. You can see in the middle is the county marker (Fairfax) and in the bottom left is Oakton (where his high school was) and in the upper right just inside that little dip in the parkway is the main offices of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Now that might all be a coincidence you say. The site is staffed by all converted Muslims… one used to live on an Israeli settlement after attending orthodox rabbinical school in Israel… they always say the worst thing at the worst time that makes everyone hate Muslims… they get an unusual amount of attention from the MSM press… the “radicalized” Muslim who made the threats in the first place gave his interview over the phone to Fox News from right down the road from the Central Intelligence Agency.

Now, this might all be circumstantial, you say… not enough, you say…. well, do you remember what college Zach Chesser attended? George Mason University (GMU). GMU has been running programs in conjunction with the CIA for a long time. This is a CIA gaming exercise sign-up that was just held April 7th of this year

CIA Intelligence Analysis/Gaming Exercise. Students interested in working with CIA:  Have you ever wondered what intelligence analysts do? Want to learn more about working for the CIA?

Join us for a simulation of a fast-moving international security crisis. You will play the role of an intelligence analyst.

The CIA has been fishing for new talent at George Mason University for years and years. GMU is still in Fairfax county and nestled right between the CIA and the PENTAGON.

Now this doesn’t prove that Revolution Muslim is a CIA COINTELPRO site but it damn sure goes a long way to help support that case. And when you throw it in the mix with everything else we have learned, it looks more and more like a CIA op every single day.

Third: Every time something happens in the news, Revolution Muslim shows up or makes a statement that is sure to make everyone hate them.

Some of Revolution Muslim’s earlier efforts to make people hate “radical” Muslims… and they always seem to get a lot of attention from the MSM don’t they?

Operation Mockingbird was a secret Central Intelligence Agency campaign to influence domestic and foreign media beginning in the 1950s.

This is early Revolution Muslim with Joseph Cohen playing the role of Khattab… he has as a prop a doll made up to be a U.S. soldier called “Justin the Imperialist” . This ridiculously stupid and contrived performance got a plug  on Fox News… just in case you missed the webcast…

Joseph Cohen as "radical" Muslim

This clip is of a CNN prime time story about Revolution Muslim “rejoicing in the Fort Hood attacks

This clip is of another CNN propaganda piece at a  Mosque where a real Imam is speaking about non-violence and Revolution Muslim shows up outside calling for terrorism.

This is the “Big Scary Knife” photo with his M-16 and his floral pattern overstuffed chair and matching bedsheet backdrop…

Joseph Cohen does Martha Stewart "Living" Show

This is Revolution Muslim taking advantage of the crash of the plane with the President of Poland and his family. He states that the president and his family are burning in hell.

As your President’s soul enters a ditch from Hellfire, in sha’a Allah, along with his advisors and his family, you now have a oppurtunity to rethink your failing operations in Afghanistan. RM

and last but certainly not least, this is Revolution Muslim going for broke killing two birds with one stone, so to speak….

This is Joseph Cohen pretending to be a “radical” Muslim, Revolution Muslim, holding in one hand a picture of Israel being blown up with a nuclear weapon… (demonizing Iran perhaps?) and in the other hand he is clearly holding a book by Norman Finkelstein ( a leading critic of far right Israeli policy who just happens to be a Jewish man born to two parents who lived through the Holocaust)… I mean, you can’t get better propaganda than this folks…

(oops. As a reader graciously pointed out, the book in the picture below seems to be Noam Chomsky’s Understanding Power:The Indispensable Chomsky. Chomsky is also Jewish, by the way, and a long-time critic of Israel’s policies in the West Bank and Gaza. So it still makes sense that Cohen would want to associate him with “Islamofascists”. thanks mason. I never noticed how Chomsky then looks like Finkelstein now)

Triple A rated Propaganda!!!!

Now I don’t know about you folks, but for my money, knowing all of this, I don’t think I would be spending much time on Jon Stewart’s show talking about how those “radical” Muslims are trying to kill our freedoms.

You get the message Stewart? As propaganda goes, this is laughable and obvious when you take a moment and look at the bigger picture. You wouldn’t have missed all this under the Bush administration… you’re slippin bud.

Someone email this to The Daily Show… I need a nap…

Rumor Control …out.

  2. It seems you are bending over so far to accommodate your deep seated hatred of The Daily Show that you are imagining conspiracy where there is none.

That nap may just be in order - not a shred of this longwinded diatribe was even remotely convincing - most if it is laughable.

And as for the reaction? In my opinion anyone that can witness:

…a thinly veiled threat, a call for murder of americans, a celebration of terrorist acts and refusal to utterly condemn any and all of these calls and acts of mass murder

…and NOT want to tell these people to go fuck themselves

    …can go fuck themselves.

So go fuck yourself Scott Creighton.

  3. The book looks to be a Noam Chomsky book actually. Understanding Power: The Indispensable Chomsky

  4. thanks mason… I never realized how much Chomsky and Finkelstein looked like one another (a few years apart of course). I knew I should have looked that up…

    I will fix that now…

    thanks again.

  5. I started to read your article, and then I saw that you referred to Stewart’s show as “propaganda as news.”

The very fact that you consider his show “news” and not “satire” or “comedy”, which it is, makes anything you said after that irrelevant. Nice try, though.

  6. Well, satire or comedy about the “news’ does make Stewart’s show ‘about news’ and he does slant his comedy toward his own opinion of the news item.

  7. found this interesting

  8. This is total bullllllshit….

  9. I think the writer of this article suffers from a serious case of cranial-rectal collision. I don’t know how I came across this awful website, but what an utter waste of my time this has been. What sad cunts you all are…

  10. Jon Stewart seems to have a lot of apologists/ass-kissing sycophants.

  11. For all your research you fail to mention that the site posted the South Park creators home addresses. Also it’s a well known fact that the US government has whole departments dedicated to monitoring websites for anything remotely anti-us. This isn’t directed solely at muslims, but any radical groups, to the extent of actually paying visits to your random joe shmoe posting comments about Obama. I know of a case where a man was visited by secret service and questioned regarding a post he made on a liberal website about how soon it would be until Obama was assassinated over the health care reform (it was an obvious post made in jest, albeit one in poor taste). They take this shit seriously. Fact is these crazy groups do murder people, but I also understand that these radical Islamic groups are a extremely small percentage of the Muslim culture/religion. Not everything is a conspiracy.

  12. Can someone post these peoples addresses?

  13. That is for a very simple reason, patrix…

during my research I found conflicting reports… one was that, like you said, they posted the home addresses…

the other, and more common report was that they posted the mailing addresses of Comedy Central and South Park main offices.

I came away from the whole thing thinking they posted the mailing addresses of the businesses…

then I read where someone thinks a commenter posted their home addresses…

and since the site was down since day one, there was no way to tell…

But again, the New York Police Commissioner said there was no crime committed, so I don’t know. If they posted Matt and Trey’s home addresses, that is definately a crime…. so why did the police commissioner say none was committed?

    it’s all very odd.

  14. Name, it seems you are firmly stuck within the 2 party paradigm. I think Stewart is funny as hell, I have watched the show plenty of times but this article is dead on. Stewart should know better, if he wants to be more than a comedian he needs to inform himself better and not fall for such an obvious ploy. You trust this Cohen character?

  15. When Stewart paused and tilted his head as he was sort of trying to define which Muslims he was against… I found that shocking… it was like he was saying he wanted to say ‘all Muslims’ so he let the audience get the inferrred message.. so he jumped loudly to ‘radical Muslims’ and laughed….. he said he disagrees with Muslims… they are not THE enemy…. and he pauses and grins……
and that ending where he jumps around like a one legged chicken and hoots out “Go fuck yourselves” over and over with the assistance of a choir wearing church robes….. as if Christians support that kind of hateful dogma….. he was making fun of Christians and sending out a very rude remark to Muslims…

I have watched Stewart many times (not much lately) and this particular show was more than comedy… it was hateful and for the first time (for me), I wanted to slap his stupid face…..

  16. Thank you - It’s amazing to see non-Muslims stand up for those of us who know what’s actually going on.

I thought I was the only one.

  18. I agree as usual amazing analysis. I love the comments from people who allegedly disagree with the column. They say go fuck yourself or you have your head up your ass however they never attack the actual content. And they do not use their real names. They are either intentionally deceptive or small minded and willfully ignorant. That is like choosing between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

  19. Dude, you run a shitty wordpress blog. If you actually had any knowledge or ability to move up to an real domain name, you would be smart enough to notice that The Daily Show segment wasn’t even close to anything you’re portraying it as. Stop putting “radical muslims” in quotes like Stewart actually said that - he didn’t not even once. Stop acting like saying someone is probably going to be murdered, then posting those people’s addresses is not a death threat. Stop acting like Stewart targeted all Muslims, when he had Aasif Mandvi’s segment for the express purpose of showing that wasn’t the case. And stop acting like speech, denouncing “that type of hatred and intolerance” meaning any threat of violence due to contradicting religious beliefs, is propaganda. Get a real job.

  20. Way to miss the point Mike. That “threat of violence” is coming from someone who would like nothing more than for tools like you to be even more afraid of muslims than you already are. Or do you trust this Cohen guy as well? Yeah, he seems real fucking genuine……

  22. Joseph Cohen is one of the most pathetic agent provocateurs.
Anyone who falls for this nonsense is an idiot.

  23. “…if Jon Stewart had fulfilled his responsibility as a journalist, he would have quickly seen past this obviously staged side-show event. ”

    He’s a journalist now?
    Is this satire?

  24. new york times 2008…

Is Jon Stewart the Most Trusted Man in America?

” Most important, at a time when Fox, MSNBC and CNN routinely mix news and entertainment, larding their 24-hour schedules with bloviation fests and marathon coverage of sexual predators and dead celebrities, it’s been “The Daily Show” that has tenaciously tracked big, “super depressing” issues like the cherry-picking of prewar intelligence, the politicization of the Department of Justice and the efforts of the Bush White House to augment its executive power.”

  25. Chris, if you think Cohen is full of shit, OK. But I don’t understand the hatred toward Jon Stewart. For some reason, I watched the clip, and did not for one second feel like I was being encouraged to be afraid of Muslims. Not the peaceful ones, and not the violent ones. I got the feeling that anyone, regardless of religion, is wrong if they try to censor or threaten people they disagree with. And more importantly, anyone that does act like that can go fuck themselves. “Go fuck yourselves” is not him saying “FEAR THE MUSLIM!” It’s actually the opposite. It’s saying we shouldn’t fear Muslims, even if they do threaten violence. We should live our lives as we see fit, because that is the right thing to do.

Now I would agree in attacking anyone that inspires fear in anything. But Jon Stewart is not inspiring fear. Not in the least bit.

Now maybe Stewart was wrong for attacking the possibly fake site. But you haven’t PROVEN the site is fake. You’ve given reason to doubt it, and nothing else. But let’s ask a few questions…

Have there been ANY Muslims that threatened violence against people who made negative depictions of Islam? Yes.
Should those people be told to go fuck themselves? Yes.

So, even if he targeted the wrong website, his point was still right. Just like when he does all the bits on the Catholic church. It shouldn’t be taken as him saying ALL Catholics are molesters and need to be feared. But the ones who are molesters need to be addressed.

  26. Right. The ones who ARE ACTUALLY the molesters need to be addressed. That is what I am trying to do.

If he targeted the wrong website like you suggest is possible John, then doesn’t it stand to reason that he shouldn’t be demonizing “radical Muslims”..

You’re argument is sound… if Catholic Priests rape little boys, then THOSE priests should be called out…

But if, like I have given evidence of, if “radicalized” Muslims DIDN’T make those threats….

if in fact it WAS a radicalized Israeli settler PRETENDING to be Muslim, by your own example, shouldn’t they be called out for making the death threat and trying to garner hostility toward Muslims?

who SHOULD be called out for doing it? Radicalized Muslims anyway?

  27. But then still, even if the site is fake, he is not attacking any innocent people. No innocent person is associated with the site. Even if the people at the site are a bunch of phoneys, they are the only ones in any kind of jeopardy from Stewart’s clip, and if they’re fakes trying to inspire fear, they deserve to be in jeopardy.

And this all goes back to whether or not it is a FACT that they are fakes. No matter how much you believe it, you do not have the evidence that proves it as a FACT.

  28. What if some kids made a fake cite calling to molest innocent children. And you used that cite as an example when saying why child molesters are bad. Even though the cite is fake, saying child molesters are bad is a very, very right thing to say.

  29. the flaw in your logic john is that child molestation does happen…

you are forgetting that South Park ran an image of Muhammad in 2001… and nothing happened.. no threats at all……

and they have been running that episode for years unedited…. and nothing happened… no threats at all…

and if I am right, that ALSO means that no “radical Muslims” threatened them THIS TIME….

so no John, it isn’t ok to demonize a group of people for doing something they DIDN’T DO….

and not calling out the group that DID DO IT.

  30. You guys are out of your minds…these guys have been spending several years doing this stuff, yelling at people on the streets of New York everyday…just so they can build up to a masterplan conspiracy of…going after South Park? Get real, you truthers will believe in anything as long as it distracts you from your miserable lives.

Check out the video at the end of this post:

Tell me these guys aren’t sincere in their insane beliefs.

    And then read this one:

What, you think Jews were behind 9/11 also? How about the JFK assassination? Mossad agents probably. Next you’ll tell me all about Neils Harrit finding nanothermite in the WTC dust, oh wait nevermind!

  31. obviously its an ongoing project. everytime something gets in the news, these guys go out of their way to make an offensive public statement of somekind that gets attention.

plus, someone made sure that one of them was interviewed on that Dawkins documentary…

so no…. they weren’t waiting all this time for this event…

it was simply one of many….

  32. It is impossible for any of you to know what actually happened. The center of this conflict is power and religion. Not until we get rid of this primitive bullshit that none of us can agree on, can we recognize each other as humans and strive to bring our species into a new age of unity. None of this petty bickering matters.

  33. They did not post their home addresses. They posted their business addresses.

  34. @ronmossad, you have MOSSAD IN YOUR FUCKING NAME and you expect anything you say in this debate to be reliable or relevant? holy shit you people could not be more transparent. your arrogant hubris will be the downfall of you and your apartheid racist socialist blight of a country.

  35. @ronmossad and another thing, you think it is COMPLETELY transparent that the media “outlet” that gives us all the “news and videos” from al-cia-duh is RITA KATZ “site”. And guess what? shes a pro-israel zionist jew!, no convert, no nothing. how do you explain that you racist transparent zio-nazi douchebag?

    Little Rita Meter Maid

Rita’s little SITE project was dying until she linked up with fellow Zionist Jew Jane Harman and helped launch to HR 1955, the thought crime bill that seeks to shut down internet sites such as WUFYS. The thought crime bill passed the House overwhelmingly, and is now being pushed in the Senate by another Zionist Jew: Joe Lieberman.

A SITE report (.pdf) explains why the Internet must be controlled. In this video Rita gives testimony in support of Harman’s Zionist task force. In another video, Harman praises her fellow Jewess Rita. After an obese woman makes remarks, Rita explains that she only wants to protect America’s children from Muslims. A separate short clip has Ms. Rita explaining how she keeps the world safe for hypocrisy.

Rita rents a tiny suite on the second floor of an office building in the Washington DC suburbs, about three miles northwest of the U.S. capitol building. Thus, it’s no problem for Rita to work closely with Jane Harman. They’re two Zionist Jews working to eliminate “anti-Semitism” from the Internet.

Here’s some additional info about Rita and her S.I.T.E. farce…

Between 2003 and 2004 the SITE Institute earned more than $500,000 from the U.S. government.

[2003 tax return here (.pdf) and 2004 return here. (.pdf)]

The 2004 returns show that over $273,000 came directly from taxpayers.

Katz says she received over $150,000 as a paid consultant from the FBI, which must be money granted outside the SITE Institute, since she claims she only gets paid about $40,000 a year from S.I.T.E. in salary.

SITE describes itself as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization “that provides information related to terrorist networks to the government, news media, and general public.”

SITE has several media subscribers, which Rita says pay $2,500 per year for “inside information” about “Islamists.”

In the fine art of Zionist lies, Rita was taught by one Steve Emerson, a self-styled “terrorism expert” who worked for Israel’s Likud party. Arriving from Israel with her husband in 1997, Rita saw an ad that Emerson had placed for someone who spoke Arabic. Rita applied and was hired by Emerson as “research director.” When 9-11 opened up limitless opportunities for professional liars, Rita struck out on her own (June 2002). Emerson made so many gaffes (e.g., his 1995 attempt on CBS to link the Oklahoma City bombing to Muslims) that he was run out of most respectable newsrooms. When the Washington Post shunned him, he branded the paper “pro-Hamas.” When the Miami Herald ignored him, he wrote Miami’s Jewish leaders claiming the paper’s “was nothing short of racist.” Disgraced, he disappeared until 9-11, and then became a chattering head on MSNBC. By then, Rita had set up her own shingle in the cottage industry of Muslim-bashing.

Emerson wrote a book titled Jihad In America, and made it into a “documentary” that appeared on PBS in 1995. It is so full of errors that’s it’s a real knee- slapper — but we’re talking about Rita, so let’s discuss her own knee-slapper…

In May 2003, Ms. Rita published a book tiled Terrorist Hunter: The Extraordinary Story of a Woman Who Went Undercover to Infiltrate the Radical Islamic Groups Operating in America. In it, Ms. Rita takes credit for just about every terrorist investigation post-9/11, plus many other things, including a speech given by Bush in the Rose Garden.

She claims she hid under her burqa while attending lots of meetings between men who sympathized with Osama Bin Laden. Wow! Allow us to correct you, Rita.

First, if you’re a master spy, you need to at least log on to the Internet so you can get your terms correct. Women who are part of Saudi groups don’t wear burqas; they wear abayas. A burqa is usually a blue cloak sewn to a round hat with a lacy patch over the eyes so a women can see. It’s worn in parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan. An abaya is usually a black over-robe, like an oversized housecoat. It’s worn in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and some other areas of the gulf. It has a separate headscarf (a hijab or khimar, or in religious households a niqab, which is a handkerchief on strings tied over the nose so that only the eyes show).

Second, among Arabians, a woman is not allowed into any group of men unless the men know her. Arabia is a dictatorship in which no one trusts strangers. The few women who MIGHT be allowed into a meeting by “extremists” are wives and daughters who serve tea.

Third, Arabian women don’t enter the men’s quarters (and thus get the opportunity to listen in on conversations) unless husbands or fathers call them, especially when any male is present from outside the family, and especially when the male visitor is orthodox Wahhabi. Non-relative women can’t enter the men’s quarters for any reason unless they have a male guardian present.

Fourth, people who live in places where women wear coverings can instantly tell who’s under a covering. All humans make idiosyncratic gestures and body motions.

Elsewhere in the book, Rita says she went to Friday prayer at a mosque, but she does not know how to pray. Poor Rita. The Internet is full of articles on how to pray Muslim style. The guidelines are simple and straightforward.

She says she went to a Virginia Mosque and saw women wailing and beating their chests before a speech began. Wow. Muslim women acting like monkeys, making loud noises before a speech began? What planet was that on? I know Rita wants to portray all Muslims as crazed terrorists, but this was over the top even for her.

The “terrorists” fooled the entire FBI, CIA and Armed forces. They ran rings around Americans in the USA. They took down the WTC, and attacked the Pentagon – but they couldn’t outwit Rita. She’s like that Kuwaiti girl who cried into the microphone while testifying to congress about Iraqis tossing babies out of incubators in Kuwait. The Kuwaiti girl turned out to be an aspiring actress, and was the daughter if the Kuwaiti Ambassador. The hospital in question didn’t even have incubators – but hey, “faith-based” anti-terrorism can’t waste time with facts, right? We gotta get dem Muslims.

Rita has a Zionist Jew friend at CBS news named Bob Simon who agreed to promote her to the gullible Goyim. Two days before Rita’s book hit the stores, Rita appeared on a “60 Minutes” installment titled “Terrorist Hunter” (the same title as the book). “60 Minutes” called the book, “A remarkable memoir of an Iraqi woman who escaped from captivity in Baghdad and became America’s leading undercover counter-terrorist expert.” (Broadcast 4 May 2003).

The FBI considers her a joke. Therefore throughout her book, Rita calls the FBI a bunch of bumbling “keystone cops” (her phrase). She complains that the FBI repeatedly ignored her “hot tips.” She writes, “The FBI didn’t possess one-thousandth of my knowledge on the relevant issues.”

The infamous Blackwater mercenaries consider Rita to be an “invaluable resource” in the “war on terror.”

Katz has appeared several on Fox news times as an “expert” on Saudi-connected “terrorists,” but has trouble keeping her stories straight. Also, she speaks Iraqi Arabic, but has no way to decipher the colloquial speech of Arabians. It’s like saying you understand English, and showing up on a street in Liberia expecting to understand every slang word.

Remember that last faked Bin Laden tape with the dyed beard? The one where Bin Laden’s image moves for only 3 1/2 minutes, but stays frozen the rest of the time while his “remarks” continue? Rita intended that little fake job to coincide with the sixth anniversary of 9-11. On 7 Sept 07 at 10:00 am, she called White House counsel Fred F. Fielding and told him she had a new Osama Bin Laden tape. Rita also called Joel Bagnal, deputy assistant to the president for homeland security, and sent both men an e-mail with a link to a place on S.I.T.E. where the tape could be seen. Rita asked them not to release the tape yet (she needed time to set up promotional materials connected with it) but within minutes, government-registered computers began downloading the video from SITE’s server. Records show dozens of downloads over the next three hours from computers with addresses registered to defense and intelligence agencies. By mid-afternoon, the Bush regime released the video (plus a transcript of its audio track) to the media.

Rita thought the latest faked tape would make her famous, but the Bush regime took credit for the tape! Rita was furious. She said the premature release tipped al-Qaeda to a security breach, and destroyed a surveillance operation that was years in the making. Poor Rita.

On that “Sixty Minutes” episode, Rita claimed that Mar-Jac Poultry, a chicken farm in Gainesville Georgia, was sending money to terrorists. The story turned out to be false, and Mar-Jac Poultry filed a lawsuit against Katz, which is still pending.

In 2004 Rita accused a University of Idaho computer scientist named Sami Omar al-Hussayen of giving material support to terrorists. Mr. al-Hussayen was a 35-year-old father of three, and had arrived at the University of Idaho in 1999 to pursue a doctorate in computer science. Al-Hussayen was arrested held in prison for a year and a half. When he was finally brought to trial, the prosecution wanted to use Rita as an “expert witness,” but the judge refused to recognize Rita’s “expertise.” Al-Hussayen was acquitted of all charges.

In December 2005, Rita claimed she found a “jihadist” manual that described how to attack the Alaska pipeline. This caused a mild panic in Alaska, but when Rita was asked to show where this “manual” came from, she couldn’t. She said she doesn’t check the accuracy of every “jihadist” manual she finds.

  36. John, its simple, Stewart is buying into and pushing DISINFO and PROPAGANDA by uncritically buying into Cohen and this almost certainly fraud of a “jihad group”. Indirectly propping up the phony “war on terror” in the process. “Ohhhh, scary muslims, better go fight them over there!!!”. Stewart DOES think he is a journalist, he acts like one all the time, he has on some of the most powerful politicos around so to say hes just a comedian is a cop out used by both Stewart and his fans alike(and again, I have watched a lot of Daily Show over the years, its a generally funny show). Stewart attacked a fake site that lends credibility to the phony “war on terror” and all the death that comes with it. Jon Stewart should have done some homework before going to air with that. He got played.

  37. The point is, its bad enough you have the entire media, not just the “rightwing” media but the entire media uncritically buying into every facet of the “war on terror”, its another when you have a guy like Stewart who in the past at least on some issues was able to cut through the bullshit. And again, saying hes “just a comedian” is a cop out, as willylomans link shows he has a lot of sway with certain groups. Jon Stewart likes to have it both ways. Well that means hes gonna be called out from time to time when he gets things wrong or pushes disinfo. Though John, it seems you are so afraid of “radical muslims” that its ok to you that Stewart attacked a zionist jew posing as a muslim instead of an actual muslim. You do know that muslims did NOT do 9/11 right? Any willyloman, you know that latest police state measure in Arizona where the cops can stop people and ask for their papers a la the nazis? Yeah, the tea party(a majority of them) LOVES that law.

  38. Stewart is a smart guy, but how did he miss this one? Does he really think that site is legit?

  39. Arizona used to be a laid-back kind of a place to live, back before snowbirds with a little money to power around found it. I grew up down there, in a company-owned mining town right on the Mexican border.

Some of the miners lived on the other side, and came across to work. Some of us, on this side, went across to shop-or to party. The crossing point had a shack on either side. No gates. A fence post held up a couple strands of old wire that trailed off into the sand. The guards on either side would usually not even come out of their shacks-just waived us across most of the time.

Went back down there in September of ’07-first trip back in a long time. My, my, how things had changed! These days, that town in owned by those snowbirds, and that border crossing is a concrete paneled, electronic-wired, overhead camera-watched fortress wall.

  40. Good post. When the story broke I googled the site’s name plus stats and found it odd that a site with such little viewership got so much attention. They got spikes when CNN did stories on them but that’s all. I bet most of those hits were probably scared tea-party types googling “muslim revolution.”

On a side note, for people who think the above post is conspiracy theory, remeber Omar Bakri? The brit cleric that was on Fox News regularly because of his hate speech. He worked for British Intelligence as a matter of indisputable fact.

  41. Thanks AB, that is a good point about Bakri.. I forgot all about him…

hey how did you find blog stats on Revolution Muslim? If you still have the link I would love to see it.

  42. […] anger against Muslims, but if they were, they would be doing a damn good job of it. And there are enough suspicious coincidences around this website to make me question […]

  43. A few months ago, Jon Stewart did a long, unfunny segment on Palestinian cartoons being anti-semitic. There was no point to the segment other than demonizing Palestinians in general.

  44. Even though the Daily Show is one of the closest things America has left that passes as a respectable news-based TV show, allow me to quote something Jon Stewart said multiple times over the years: “If you’re looking to Comedy Central for journalistic integrity, we’ve got problems!”

  45. Whoa! Well, gee, I didn’t realize that only those on the side of truth and goodness were liberals, and no, I’m not a right-wing fanatic. The problem with Revolution Muslim’s message was the IMPLIED threat. ‘Do as we say, or something really bad is going to happen.’ Kind of like the Danish cartoon rioting, which I’m sure is some kind of mossad/Zionist/racist/American conspircy.

As to your statement here: “Yesterday I posted an angry rant directed at “liberal” Jon Stewart for his “Go Fuck Yourselves” segment which was nothing more than his promotion of the “radical, dangerous, freedom-hating Muslim” meme which only serves to stir-up the old Bush-era “fear the bad Muslims” feelings in your average Americans. ‘

No, of course not, anything bad about Muslims in the media must be part of the Zionist/American/racist conspiricy propoganda, because Muslims are always, always innocent victims and rarely does anything ever, ever happen in the name of Islam, or if does, it can be attributed to culture/misunderstandings of the Qu’ran, etc.

Nothing bad REALLY ever happens in the name of Islam, does it? And if it does, it’s not really Muslms behind it right?

Thanks, I’ll have to look this up. Stewart is just another Establishment stooge.

@Silverarrow: Yes, it really IS all “racist conspiracy propaganda.” And the reason why it’s so successful is because the majority of Americans are borderline retards WHO ACCEPT THE GOVERNMENT AS A SOURCE FOR NEWS!

  47. Silverarrow… “bad” things happen in the name of every religion.

We just don’t happen to be basing an entire “endless Global War on Terror” on the “bad” things the Christians do or the Jews do or the Buddists do…

so right now, I have to call out the proganda as I see it. When the Clinton’s started squaking about the “far right Christian militia” groups…. I called them out for that as well.

war-mangering propaganda is war mongering propaganda… no matter which religion they chose to demonize…

and the only reason I am talking about “progressives” and liberals is because you don’t have a lot of conservatives and libertarians watching The Daily Show. That is not to say that there isn’t a large contingent from both of those parties who are sick and tired of this empire-building Global Free Market Wars thing we have going on. I didn’t mean to give that impression.

  48. @silverarrow, of course the muslims arent allowed to be victims but jews can nurture that false image for their entire existence right? lemme guess, because of the holocaust? what about the palestinian holocaust? what about operation cast lead? sorry don’t mean to sully your perfect head with the reality outside of zionist spoonfed hasbara.

Riddle me this as well, where was the FIRST place obama went to declare his everlasting fealty as soon as he clinched the nomination? *crickets chirping*

AIPAC.. ironically jon stewart gave this a lot of coverage and i actually admire how he covered it.

the second biden and obama get publicly spat on by muslim hosts and do NOTHING ABOUT IT, then maybe ill believe some of the “news reports” from the lame stream media about big scary muslims. (i’ve never read anything from bignewsnetwork before, just the first link that came up when i googled the incident since i didnt have one handy)

revolution muslim is such a transparent operation that anyone who TRULY believes those are REAL muslims with REAL threats needs to get their head examined.

and dont get me wrong i dont think either side is blameless, but if you ask me which side shoulders an inordinate amount of that blame? unquestionable without a doubt - israel. Who slaughters 1400+ people after getting attacked with bottle rockets that didn’t kill ANYONE? who finds that justified aside from a country that attacks with impunity and never hears a peep from the US or the lamestream media about it? hmm THATS a tough one, u wanna know what obomba said when he heard about cast lead? “there is only one president at a time”, what did bush say? NOTHING.

  49. I actually suspected that this whole story was a staged opposition just based on previous books I’ve read about the CIA- their Psywar department aka “Fun and Games.” That coupled with the fact that popular support for the imperialist occupation of both Iraq and Afghanistan (both Islamic countries) appear to be dwindling…I would encourage you to continue your research. I feel confident more facts will surface which support your claim.

  50. […] are now claiming a conspiracy; one site speculates that ”the CIA” is behind it. But as with other conspiracy theories, the supposed […]

  52. Scott, I ask again because you seem to have censored my first reply.

Did Khattab pretend to murder Theo van Gogh just to make Muslims look violent? Did he pretend to declare a fatwa against Salman Rushdie just to make them seem intolerant? Did he pretend Islam calls for the death penalty for apostasy? The world is full of intolerant people and religions of all flavors contribute, but if you want to pretend Muslims are tolerant angels and it’s just those evil Jews making them look bad, you can go fuck yourself.

  53. Interesting post. Thanks for doing the research. I too have looked into Revolution Muslim and also came to the conclusion that they were likely an intelligence front/agent provocateur. I found this site by Googling “Revolution Muslim CIA”. The facts that they are not popular in the Muslim community, get a lot of press at opportune moments and were started by former Jews were all red flags to me. Nothing wrong with Jews of course, but it suggests a Mossad tie-in. Ever since I realized what really happened on 9/11 I have understood that Mossad works with western intelligence services (and sometimes against them too!).

I think you are being a bit hard on John Stewart however. I have been watching the Daily Show for years now and it seems to me that Mr. Stewart is a generally smart, decent guy. But he’s not into this deep politics stuff. He doesn’t consider that intelligence services propagandize the American public. In short, he is a conventional thinker. So I don’t think it is reasonable to expect him to try to cut through the propaganda (unless it is really obvious) or consider what is and is not COINTELPRO. That’s not really his thing. I would expect that he accepts the official story about 9/11 as well. For most people, this stuff can’t be proven, so what’s the point in speculating?

You can wish that Mr. Stewart had a different viewpoint. But to be angry at him for not having it is like being angry at a Christian for not being a Jew; he just doesn’t see the world that way. Anyway, good analysis. I’m glad that more and more people are aware of what’s going on in this country.

  54. I immediately smelled a rat when I read about this silly South Park stuff, and googled the group. Surrrrrrrre enough…agents provocateurs. Those people trying to stir up anti-Moslem sentiment are getting sloppier by the day, thinking we won’t see through their schtick. Pay no attention to the men behind the screen!

  55. BuelahMan,

Jon Stewart seems to have a lot of apologists/ ass-kissing sycophants.
Yes he does, and I’m wondering just how many of them are of the Jewish persuasion!

  56. Agreed 100%….

Nothing (Joseph Cohen) more than another Zionist agent. Check out the Site Intel Centre, it’s the only website that consistently “receives” videos from “terrorists” BEFORE every/any other media group on Earth.

    How is that?

You don’t say… the founder of this “Intel” group is a Zionist, that’s why!

They make the videos in their back room and then distribute it to the media. And don’t count on the media to the proper fact checking.

Talking about Muslims in a bad light gets the ratings up and people get emotionally invested too…

Watch the youtube video on media failing to fact check

  57. :”Demonize muslims?”

No one has to do that, the islamics do that quite qell, themselves. With their riots, and destruction of cars and other property, and “No Go” zones, and kitchen knife butchery, all over Europe….whenever things don’t go t heir way.

    Way to go, islamics!

  59. Jon S. is not a journalist, the daily show is a comedy show!!!!!!!
    Dumbass!!!!! Ignorance is bliss!

  60. Bonnie stfu! your ignorance speaks loudly!!!
Frank you are a fool as well. One thing you should realize in life is : in every crowd there is an a-hole, and sometimes its you! Don’t hate people based on race or religion.

  61. as jon stewart is a vehement 9/11 truth denier, this crap of his doesn’t surprise me much. hiding behind a comedy sctick is a bunch of b.s., and denigrating anyone who criticizes mossad involvement in 9/11 mass murders or Israeli murdering, or zionist jewish control of msm in the u.s. is a shill and a coward and solely a mouthpiece for zionist jewry, and an insult to intelligence no matter where it lives.

but stewart lost me as a viewer with the 9/11 naysaying. once a zionist jew, always an apologist for their murdering.

  62. Amazing..all this proved to be true months later. All these fake radical muslims. All convenient. So much effort to put down
Islam. Every front with lies up lies.

  63. Still, there are good and kind people among Christian, Jew, Islam, Buddhist, Hindi, etc. indeed mike, we should seperate the good ones from the bad ones, whatever the religion they bear. sadly there’re also people who stirred things up and trying to get advantages/benefits of them.

I live in a big family which consists islam, christian and buddhism and we’ve never feel any difference.

As a muslim, I dont see jews and/or christians as enemies. however, i consider bin Laden and Ghadafi as deadly threats even for the muslims themselves.

  64. Hi Scott,
I know this is an old post so don’t know if you’ll ever actually get to see this comment but there has been a recent development via Stratfor which I think supports your case.

A “senior FBI official” speaking off the record to Burton regarding NYPD activity since 9/11:

” I keep .telling you, you and I are going to laugh and raise a beer one day, when everything Intel (NYPD Intelligence) has been involved in during the last 10 years comes out – it always eventually comes out. They are going to make Hoover, COINTEL, Red Squads, etc look like rank amatures compared to some of the damn right felonious activity, and violations of U.S. citizen’s rights they have been engaged in. As Rush Limbaugh likes to say, “don’t doubt me on this.”
