What is Missing from the Story of the al-Rawda Mosque Attack? I’ll Tell You

by Scott Creighton

https://desertpeace.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/isis-trojan-horse-middle-east-monitor.gif?w=209&h=197

“President” Sisi (actually a dictator installed by the Obama administration after the real president (elected) was deposed because he refused to lock his people into a lifetime of debt servitude with another IMF loan) says the Egyptian military will “avenge our martyrs” in the wake of the terrorist attack on the al-Rawda mosque in the town of Bir al-Abed, Sinai Peninsula. Approximately 300 people were killed (27 children) when a bomb went off inside the mosque and as survivors fled into the street, they were gunned down.

“This act will only increase our will and unity. The police and military will avenge our martyrs and restore peace and security. We will respond with brute force to combat these terrorists and deviants … This is an attempt to deter us from fighting terrorism and to destroy our will, but we are steadfast, and I say to all Egyptians, the battle you are fighting is the most honourable.” our dictator in Egypt

Keeping true to his word, the dictator (who killed thousands of protesters after his U.S.-backed coup in 2013 (here and here) (You can also see this work I did REAL TIME as the attacks were taking place in early 2013)  and then boasted about imprisoning 10,000 members of the opposition political party) unleashed bombing attacks against “terrorist” positions in Sinai right after the attack. Casualty numbers are not yet available from those strikes and it will be hard to get accurate numbers of casualties in the region due to the fact that al Sisi has made reporting from the area illegal since he was installed… a year before “ISIS” was even created.

Journalists, including from state-sponsored outlets, have not been allowed to report from North Sinai in the last few years.” BBC

The claim we are seeing over and over again in the MSM is that “ISIS™” is responsible for this attack. They say that since the defeat of “ISIS™” in Syria, the group has spread out to other hot spot locations around the globe in an effort to take their failed caliphate model elsewhere in hopes of greener pastures. That’s the story anyway from the majority of the complicit media and especially from the CIA’s Washington Post:

The brazen attack on worshipers at an Egyptian mosque early Friday showed the ability of the Islamic State’s regional affiliates to inflict death and exact revenge for the loss of the group’s main enclaves in Iraq and Syria.

There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack on the al-Rawda mosque in Egypt’s sparsely populated Sinai Peninsula, but there were many reasons to suspect that the Islamic State was responsible. Washington Post

Notice that little disclaimer in there? Here is another:

No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but it marks a major escalation in a region where for the past three years Egyptian security forces have battled an Islamic State insurgency that has killed hundreds of police and soldiers. The Guardian

“No group claims responsibility…” BUUUUUT... they are going to push the narrative just the same.

Don’t worry all you establishment apologist trolls out there… I’m sure Mossad asset Rita Katz and maybe Paul Joseph Watson will gin up a video of some British actor playing the role of an “ISIS™” terrorist claiming responsibility any day now.

You know, according to the official narrative here, maybe it wasn’t such a wise idea for the U.S. military to keep letting “ISIS™” terrorists escape from various Syrian cities in convoys of trucks or chartered buses after all.

just sayin

Anyway… the official story here is all about “ISIS™” once again but, as is often the case when “ISIS™” shows up to help a government justify attacks on one group or another, that’s not the whole story.

Let’s take a look at the history of both the “ISIS™” Sinai Province group (Nov. of 2014) and the Bedouin Sinai insurgency which has been going on in this round of conflict since 2011 and beyond.

Venezuela’s Constituent Assembly and Egypt’s Anti-Neoliberal Constitution Explained (AE video)

What the fascist MSM wont tell you about Venezuela’s Constituent Assembly vote and the potential for a new anti-neoliberal constitution in the country like the one the Obama administration had to undo with their bloody coup in Egypt.

A little perspective on the “protesters” in Venezuela:

And here is a little more from Richie Allen talking about how the IMF is behind the attempted demolition of Venezuela.

No. South Sudan is NOT a Regime Change Operation – It’s a Product Re-branding Program

by Scott Creighton

It bothers me a great deal when I read or hear misinformation spread by otherwise credible sources. These days it’s hard to figure out who has sold out and who hasn’t… as of yet. That’s why when I listened to the X22 Report yesterday I was a bit surprised to hear him infer that Obama had betrayed the government of South Sudan by making them sign a deal in order to ease the internal conflict in the country. X22 made a comparison between that arrangement and the Minsk II agreement in Ukraine which is ridiculous on it’s surface but more troubling is equating the illegitimate government of South Sudan to the rebels in eastern Ukraine.

As is often the case as of late, the United States has found itself in the unenviable position of having to remove various puppet leaders when things get too bad, or, more importantly, too visible on the international stage for them to continue to rule with an shred of legitimacy. It isn’t really about maintaining the illusion of legitimacy for our government’s client state in the nation as it is providing the indigenous population the pretext to “believe” that “change” is upon them.

I’ll give you a couple examples with the most notable being another case that was twisted by the so-called “alternative” gurus out there like “Tony Cartalucci” and Webster Tarpley and that is the example of the 2011 Egyptian revolution.

The “ISIS™” Operandi: What is Happening in Libya? Part 1

by Scott Creighton

First we review the Modus operandi, or the “method of operations” of President Peace Prize and NATO

When the people got tired of our puppet dictator in Yemen, Ali Abdullah Saleh, a legitimate people’s revolution removed him from power and in his place they allowed a phony, one candidate “election” to take place in 2012 (orchestrated by Hillary Clinton’s State Department) and they got another puppet of the West, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

Once it was clear he was no different that the previous dictator, in Sept of last year, the Houthis from the west rose up and took control of the nation, evicting our puppet ruler and effectively taking control of the country.

The current government of Yemen is deemed “illegitimate” by Western/NATO interests while they fully back the current neo-Nazi, fascist government in Ukraine which came to power via a US-backed bloody color revolution last year as well.

These same Western interests also support the illegitimate junta currently ruling Thailand which also came to power in a US backed coup in 2014.

Remember Rab’a: Establish International Inquiry Into Rab’a Massacre

from Human Rights Watch

Egyptian authorities have held no government official or member of the security forces responsible for the mass killing of protesters in Cairo’s Rab’a al-Adawiya Square two years ago. On August 14, 2013, security forces killed at least 817 people and most likely more than 1,000 at a mass sit-in in what probably amounted to crimes against humanity.

Given the Egyptian government’s refusal to properly investigate the killings or provide any redress for the victims, the United Nations Human Rights Council should establish an international commission of inquiry into the brutal clearing of the Rab’a al-Adawiya sit-in and other mass killings of protesters in July and August 2013. The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights should establish a similar investigation.

US welcomes Sisi’s economic efforts, supports Egypt’s security: Kerry

from Ahram Online

The US “welcomes” Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s “steps to improve economic conditions,” US Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday at the start of the US-Egypt Strategic Dialogue.

John Kerry met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri. Kerry will also meet with President El-Sisi later today.

In a press conference, Kerry said that the importance of US-Egypt relations “cannot be overstated.”

Kerry expressed the United States’ support for Egypt’s economy, saying the US is ready to work with Egypt to “attract more capital.”

In an effort to boost the economy and improve infrastructure, Egypt has been seeking to attract foreign investment since El-Sisi assumed office.

Kerry also addressed security concerns in the region, mainly over the rise of Islamic State group militants, saying his government is “committed to the security… of the Egyptian people.”

Meanwhile, Shoukri said that Cairo looks forward to “close cooperation” on the military front which, he said, will help achieve security and enhance economic opportunities for investors.

The meetings were scheduled to take place over two days. However, due to last minute changes, the ‎dialogue has been shortened to just one day. ‎

Some of the meetings that were supposed to take place between the US delegation and representatives ‎of the Egyptian private sector in the Egyptian-US Chamber of Commerce were canceled accordingly. ‎‎
