9/11 The Myth and The Reality – David Ray Griffin

The United States has also engaged in false flag terrorist attacks, killing innocent civilians then blaming the attacks on enemy country or group, often by planting evidence. As Daniel Ganser has shown in his recent book “NATO’s Secret Armies“, NATO, guided by the CIA and the Pentagon, arranged many such attacks (false flag terrorist attacks) in western European countries during the cold war in which hundreds of people were killed by bombs or hooded men with shotguns. These attacks were successfully blamed on communists or other leftists (like Moammar Gadhafi?) to discredit them in the eyes of the voting public.” David Ray Griffin, 2010

In other news, the people of America have reported in to the folks at Gallop with the highest percentage of people who hold a negative view of the federal government since Gallop began asking the question of them in Aug of 2003.The previous high was in 2008 and that means that more people hold a negative view toward the current government than they did in the last year of the Bush administration when they were pushing to give nearly a trillion dollars to the banks that deliberately destroyed the economy.

A total of 63 percent said they had a negative view of the federal government, including 34 percent who said they had a somewhat negative view and 29 percent who said they had a very negative view.

The previous high for the percentage of Americans telling Gallup they had a negative view of the federal government was 60 percent—in a survey conducted Aug. 7-10, 2008. At that time, 34 percent said they had a somewhat negative view of the federal government and 26 percent said they had a very negative view..” CNS News

I guess the Juan Cole types have their work cut out for them trying to gin up some kind of “progressive” rationalization for Pax Americana’s new Operation Gladio campaign in the Middle East and Africa. Apparently the sheep aren’t buying it anymore. Though I doubt that pointing out these facts makes me “trendy” in any stretch of the imagination. I thought it just made me a journalist.

911 David Ray Griffin – 911 The Myth and The Reality

Is the War in Afghanistan Justified by 9/11?

“Whereas it is widely recognized that the US-led war in Afghanistan is illegal under international law, because it was never authorized by the UN Security Council, most Americans have believed that it was morally justified as a response to the 9/11 attacks, and many believe it is still justified as a necessary means to prevent another attack originating from that region. My lecture will present evidence showing that both of these beliefs are untrue, so that the 9/11 Truth Movement and more traditional Peace and Anti-War groups should be able to combine forces to oppose this illegal and immoral war.” – David Ray Griffin

“9/11 and Nationalist Faith” by DRG

In keeping with my established current motif, I will leave you with one of the best lectures I have seen on the subject. This is David Ray Griffin. Enjoy. (Part 4 on the front page here, others after the fold.)

John Cobb:

“We may call this largely unconscious underlying and over-arching view of the world as well as the more conscious belief in which it is expressed, a Faith. For a thousand years prior to the Renaissance, the Faith of the great majority of Europeans was Christian. In the modern world however, ones loyalty and ones identity seem to be identified by geography rather than religion. Virtue was redefined as patriotism. Saints were replaced by national heroes. Being a Christian became optional and public debates for and against were fully acceptable. But there is no public debate about national loyalty. In short, the dominant faith for most people in the modern world has been Nationalist. What is the American version of this Faith? It is that the United States is a fundamentally virtuous nation.” “Our country is essentially good. Never deliberately doing evil.”

On the implausibility of the official story of 9/11, Cobb says;

“The response of most Americans to the recitation of such facts shows how powerful is the hold upon them of their Nationalistic Faith. They do not want to hear that members of their government may have deceived them on a matter of such importance. They do not want to examine the evidence. They know the questioner is out of line. They KNOW this because the alternative does not fit with their Faith. This is the kind of faith that is blinding.”
