The Stunning Hypocrisy of Yesterday’s Video Game Meeting in the White House

Yesterday’s meeting in the White House relating to violence in video games missed one major topic of discussion: our military’s use of video games to train our troops to be more aggressive and to recruit the kinds of kids who might be more inclined to violence in the first place.

It is widely known that the military helps game manufacturers design and create video games.

The CIA has front companies making the things for them. Hell, even Cubic Corp has a division where it develops and uses video games for the training of unconventional warfare. None of that was mentioned yesterday though. Oddly enough.

  1. Yeah, they don’t like people learning how to fight and about tactics … in case we have a revolution. It has just probably occurred to them that
these videos can be a good training program for our defense.
