A Rational Discussion About “Journalist”/ Activist David Hogg

This is not “bullying”. This is a serious discussion about a young person who has made himself into a public figure and is calling for potentially dangerous changes to our national laws.

His father is less of an issue for me than is his desire to make a name for himself in the world of corporate journalism.

This young man has, by his actions over the past week, made himself into a public figure (a gun control activist) and therefore any discussion about his efforts in terms of debating his desired results is fair and reasonable under the conditions of the Youtube community guidelines.

  1. His neck is too long looking………… his handlers should have put him in a white collared shirt.
a terrible event made into a side show….. using the kids for more dismantling of the bill of rights … that will really put that school into the history books…. and in the future, no one will want to go there.

    • Lost my mind somewhere, Jan. Can’t find it anywhere. I’ll keep looking, though, and get back to you people if I ever do find it.

Keep at it, long as you can.

  2. The pushing of the kids as being the motivating force behind this movement reminds me of Kony 2012.

    • well, you got Kony, LOVEMalala!, Bana the Syrian girl who knows no English but writes beautifully and now that other set of Syrian kids currently being used. It seems to be a thing

  3. The young in all societies throughout history have always been revolutionaries (anti-establishment by definition) demanding change. We are witnessing the phenomenon of the young being “revolutionaries” by demanding the changes the government wants to implement.
