from Fort Russ

The Russian military is pummeling the area controlled by the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in the province of Idlib, from which a missile was launched earlier on the Russian Su-25 aircraft. This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Defense.

“The area is controlled by the terrorist group “Jabhat al- Nusra” in the province of Idlib, where a group strike was carried out, launching a missile using MANPADS against the Russian Su-25.”It is noted that more than 30 militants of the terrorist group have now been killed.

Earlier,  a Russian Su-25 fighter jet was shot down, whose pilot managed to eject, but was killed by terrorists.

Dec. 27 2016 – Russia enraged at U.S. arming Syrian rebels with ManPADS

from Washington Times

The Russian Foreign Ministry declared U.S. intentions to provide Syrian “rebels” fighting the Assad regime in the Syrian Civil War as a “hostile move.” Barack Obama signed the 2017 Defense Authorization bill on Dec. 23rd of this year. The bill provides authorization for the Department of Defense to arm the rebels with shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles or ManPADS.

The Russians have a long memory of the Stinger missiles that were provided by the CIA to the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan, which turned the tide of the conflict and forced Soviet withdrawal from the country.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Tuesday regarding the missiles falling into the hands of the Islamic State, “Perhaps, they even expect this to happen, since they actually sponsor the Jabhat al-Nusra [terrorist group, outlawed in Russia – TASS], which is a unit of al Qaeda. This can hardly be called otherwise than aiding and abetting terrorists,” reports Russian State News Agency TASS…

Russia’s Su-25 fighter jet shot down by militants in Syria – defense ministry

from TASS

A Su-25 fighter jet of the Russian Aerospace Force was shot down by militants in Syria on Saturday, the pilot ejected but was killed later by terrorists, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

“On 3 February 2018, a Russian fighter jet Su-25 crashed when flying over the Idlib de-escalation zone. The pilot was able to report ejection from an area controlled by Jabhat al-Nusra militants (the terrorist group banned in Russia – TASS),” the defense ministry said. “The pilot was killed while fighting against terrorists.”

“According to preliminary information, the jet was brought down with a portable anti-aircraft missile system,” it added.

“The Russian center for reconciliation of warring sides in Syria alongside the Turkish side, responsible for the Idlib de-escalation zone, are taking steps to retrieve the Russian pilot’s body,” the ministry said.

Earlier reports said that Syrian governmental forces were fighting against Jabhat al-Nusra units in the Idlib province.

In accordance with an agreement by Russia, Iran and Turkey – the guarantors of the Syrian ceasefire – de-escalation zones were set up in Syria in May 2017. De-escalation zones include the Idlib Province, some parts of its neighboring areas in the Latakia, Hama and Aleppo Provinces north of the city of Homs, Eastern Ghouta, as well as the Daraa and al-Quneitra Provinces in southern Syria.

Las Vegas Shooting: What About That Whole “Motive” Thing?

If Paddock didn’t do it like many of us suspect because he had no motive, naturally the first question we have to ask in any legitimate unofficial investigation is…

Why would someone else? What would their motive be?

James H asked that very question and I am going to try to answer it as best I can.

Vegas Shooting: Douglas Haig Arrested – Here’s the Rest of the Story

Douglas Haig, formerly called a “person of interest” in the Las Vegas shooting “investigation” has been arrested and released on his own recognizance. He was charged with the manufacture and sale of armor piercing rounds without a license. It is a federal charge brought to you by the intrepid agents of the FBI.

Seeing as how this happened right after two judges released info pertaining to the “investigation” (because Paddock is named as the “lone nut gunman” and is now dead, there is no reason to usurp the people’s right to see said evidence in the case) it is my contention that the FBI drummed up this arrest because they needed something current to prevent further rulings on more of their “evidence”

Key to this criminal complaint filed on Haig is the part that says some of this type of ammo was stolen from the vehicle of Haig’s business partner on Oct. 21 2017.
