FBI Reports they “Lost” 5 Key Months Worth of Texts Between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page

It must be good to be king.

Years ago the CIA deliberately destroyed videos of their interrogations (read as “torture”) of various terror suspects that congress had demanded to see for their investigation into 9/11.

Hillary Clinton deliberately used a private email server (illegal by the way) so that the record of her time in office as Secretary of State wouldn’t include communications she would rather it didn’t include. One of her staffers smashed two of her blackberry devices with a hammer when the FBI announced their investigation into the matter while thousands of emails were illegally deleted because Hillary says they were “personal”

And recently, during an ongoing lawsuit, the NSA had to report they “regretted” destroying a bunch of data they collected with their illegal and unconstitutional spying program where they have been spying on every U.S. citizen for decades without cause and without warrants. They had been under order from the courts to maintain that data and they promised to do so. They also “accidentally” erased all the back-ups of that data. Oops.

Hell… congress even got into the act in January of 2017: Congress Quietly Passes New Rule Allowing House Members To Hide Records From Ethics Probes

Now congress can hide stuff… from congress.

Yes it must be good to be king. All you have to say is “oops. sorry” and you get away with the most obvious criminal actions.

“No WMDs? oops. sorry”

Turns out there is a new oopsy in the news today.

Last Friday the FBI had to admit they “lost” 5 months worth of texts between Peter Stzok and his girl-toy co-worker Lisa Page. Those texts they “lost” were during a particularly important time during the “Russian collusion” investigation.

For those of you who don’t know, I covered Peter Strzok back in Aug. of 2017, long before he became a household name.

Peter was involved in the Hillary Clinton email server investigation (he was one of three who were in the room when she was questioned) and then he moved onto the Trump/Russia thing right afterwards. Mueller eventually put him on his staff in May of 2017 when that thing kicked off.

But Peter was eventually demoted to the Human Resources department in the agency without much fanfare and folks like myself who were paying attention back then wondered why that was.

Turns out Mueller knew a bunch of his hateful communications with Lisa Page were going to come out and he wanted to distance his investigation from all that lust-driven negativity. You see, Peter, such an upstanding FBI citizen, was cheating on his wife with Lisa.

When all that came out and his comments about Trump he shared with her, it created a bit of a shit-storm for old Peter and Lisa, as one might expect. It kinda hurt the image of the glorious FBI since folks didn’t really want to think of them as rabid, politically biased assholes running around doing everything they could to hurt one candidate or another.

You can probably understand why Mueller would think that way.

Well, Lisa and her hubby are back in the news this week because the FBI had to admit Friday (trying to kill the story I guess) that they “lost” 5 months worth of texts between those two love birds from over a five-month period between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 7, 2017 (some reports state it was May 17th which is interesting because that is the day Mueller started his investigation)

“But the department also said in a letter to lawmakers that its record of messages sent to and from the agent, Peter Strzok, was incomplete because the FBI, for technical reasons, had been unable to preserve and retrieve about five months’ worth of communications

But, according to the letter, the FBI told the department that its system for retaining text messages sent and received on bureau phones had failed to preserve communications between Strzok and Page over a five-month period between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 7, 2017. DOJ says many FBI-provided Samsung 5 mobile devices did not capture texts during that time. The explanation for the gap was “misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI’s collection capabilities.”CBS News

There is a new twist on the old “oopsy” narrative: software upgrades. Gee I wonder if the IRS would accept that one during my next audit?

Turns out most news outlets have completely missed the most obvious timing connection here. Yes, the 5 months is just prior to the creation of the Mueller investigation and yes, Peter was originally on his team.

But that’s not what they are worried about.

What else happened during that time frame? The time frame of the missing texts? This is a pop quiz folks. And here are the answers:

  1. bullshit Grizzly Steppe report (Dec. 29thish)
  2. the “all 17 agencies” report on what was on RT at the time that turned out to be 20 handpicked agents from only 3 (Jan. 6 2017)
  3. the “peeing on hookers” dossier from Chris Steele released on (Jan. 10th 2017)

Yep. Those communications they lost due to the FBI’s inability to handle software upgrades (has none of their software EVER been upgraded before in the past? Inquiring minds want too know) just happened to be sent at a time when the intelligence agencies were doing their level best to level one bullshit claim against Trump after another and at the center of the whole thing is that Jan. 6th report that supposedly was put together by “all 17 intelligence agencies” when in fact it was only 20 “hand picked” agents from 3 agencies.

Gee… I wonder… do you think Peter Strzok, who already headed up the investigation into Trump just months before, would have been one of those “HAND PICKED AGENTS”?

It’s probably a pretty good guess that he was.

So why ditch the texts during that time?

Maybe it’s because of all their other bullshit “reports” from back then… the ONLY one which still retains even the slightest thread of credibility… is the Jan. 6th report. And if it turns out this raving partisan hack of an FBI agent worked on it…

Well… you see where I am going with that.

Yeah. The FBI now joins congress and the Clintons and the CIA and the NSA when it comes to being allowed to live like kings.

The lesson here is… when you have some troubling evidence someone wants.. saying “the dog ate it” seems like it will work just fine in the 3rd world shithole this country is becoming.

Congress doesn’t matter. Lawsuits don’t matter. Justice certainly doesn’t matter. Gone right alongside accountability.

Ah well. It’s all for the greater good anyway, right?

  1. The Federal B I has a long proud tradition of influencing elections that goes back many decades. For more information on such I suggest the quite fascinating book “Official and Confidential” by … umm … forget his name and I’m too unethused in general right now to go digging around the bookcase or even googling that shit up; anyway, trust me, great read!
    Hang tough brother!
