Who Gets to Push the Nuclear Button?

(I agree with PCR on this but he forgot one key part and that was the Obama administration and our intelligence agencies using the 5-Eyes program to get foreign governments to spy on Trump and the other Republican candidates during the duration of the Republican primary contest.)

Paul Craig Roberts

William Binney is the former National Security Agency (NSA) official who created NSA’s mass surveillance program for digital information. He says that if the Russian government had conspired with Trump, hacked the Democratic National Committee’s computer, or in any way influenced the outcome of the last US presidential election, the National Security Agency would have the digital evidence. The fact that we have been listening to the unsubstantiated charges that comprise “Russiagate” for more than one year without being presented with a scrap of evidence is complete proof that Russiagate is entirely fake news.

The fake news originated with CIA director John Brennan and FBI director Comey conspiring with the DNC in an effort to discredit and unseat President Trump and at a minimum prevent him from damaging the vast power and profit of the military/security complex by normalizing relations with Russia.

Consider what this means. The directors of the CIA and FBI made up a totally false story about a newly elected President and fed the lies to the presstitutes and Congress. The presstitutes never asked for a drop of evidence and enlarged the Brennan/Comey lie with a claim that all 17 US intelligence agencies had concluded that Russia had interfered. In actual fact, a handful of carefully selected people in three of the agencies had prepared, perhaps under duress, a conditional report that had no evidence behind it.

That it was fake news created to control President Trump was completely obvious, but corrupt security officials, corrupt senators and representatives, a corrupt DNC, and corrupt media used constant repetition to turn a lie into truth.

Having shoved Trump into the militarist camp, his enemies have turned on Trump as an unstable, volatile person who might push the button. Senator Bob Corker (R, TN) and Senator Chris Murphy (D,CT) are using the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to portray President Trump as a quixotic person who shouldn’t have his finger on the nuclear button. We have gone full circle, from Trump who wants to defuse nuclear tensions to Trump who might push the button…

  1. I bet those Americans who are going to see a 235% increase in Dear Leader’s Obama Commie health plan would push that button, if the nuke would detonate in DC.

  2. Di$info Roberts trying to portray the Donald as an innocent schoolboy. Just Infurwors propaganda for the literate. Even if one is inclined to believe that sort of horsesheet, statements like “The last US government that showed any respect at all for truth was the George H. W. Bush administration” should be a giveaway.

    • yeah, I am not a huge fan of his either. Didn’t he help create the first incarnation of the “trickle down” mythology? And that statement about Poppy Bush is offensive, I agree. But I think to some degree he does have a point. So many people go after me on Twitter or Youtube or here because I point out what I think is pretty obvious and that is the Duke of Orange is finding himself under attack pretty steadily due to his STATED positions on Syria and Russia and maybe various “free trade” agreements. And of course… immigration (i.e. “cheap labor for big business”).

Yes, I have been writing since Trumpster rode that escalator, that he is a neoliberal puppet and represents a continuation of the status quo for the neoliberal masters of the universe in many ways. ESPECIALLY DOMESTICALLY. But it is an uncontroversial fact that his STATED position on foreign adventurism is more tame than that of his predecessor and that of Killary. And you can argue all you want that he is doing the same thing Killary would be doing were she in charge but the truth is… no one can possibly know that other than Killary herself. I don’t. You don’t. Fact is, “ISIS” lost in Syria due to the Russians, Iranians and Syrians. But also because we didn’t take that last measure of devotion to the brinksmanship campaign and start directly bombing MORE of the SAA and there are those who blame Trump for not giving that order. KurdISIS lost in Iraq. That means the Greater Kurdistan project is on hold. Trump didn’t come out in favor of the rigged referendum and he didn’t threaten our puppet in Iraq with removal if they didn’t give up a chunk of their country to our new bitch-boys, the Kurds. Trump is blamed for that as well. And lets face it. He called our glorious intelligence agencies “Nazis” in the past and just recently took Putin’s side over theirs very publicly.

Truth is… Trump is their servant… but he’s not living up to their expectations which I believe Roberts hits on. Trump is certainly not what he pretended but you know, in your world view, he’s about the same thing as that held by the “revolutionaries” in Olbermann land. I feel like he’s something in between. A neoliberal scumbag and the bringer of the next “Reagan Revolution” of neoliberal crippling austerity and economic inequality… but one of those who just might be vain enough to NOT WANT to be the president who pushes the nuclear button because the Deep State tells him to.

As a reminder… Obama towards the end felt much the same way about Syria if you recall and the Deep State assets embedded in his intelligence apparatus did their level best to kick off WWIII before he left office if you recall. And we all know how I feel about that piece of shit.

      • Well, buddy I don’t have TV or the twitter so I don’t know anything about Olbermann or any of that sheet. But I do know, whether it’s Mockingbird or the Donald©, that there’s often a major difference between what’s said publicly and actual policy objectives. Liars lie. And I suspect this fake “Deep State War on Trump” is designed primarily to keep his supporters on the bandwagon for as long as possible. At least until they can get rid of the undesirable voters who might not be down with ALEC’s feudal future, or ‘retired’ generals running the white house, or Navy aviators drawing giant dicks in the sky so schoolchildren can learn about anatomy.

And I don’t know how you know how Obama felt about Syria. He never shared his feelings with me. But given his family’s spooky pedigree I seriously doubt the embedded intelligence assets had to work very hard to get him to sign off on the bear baiting program. A company man much like the Donald©.

Funny that for all of the sound and fury of the Mockingbird attacks on Trumpf, those muckfakers totally forgot to bring up his cozy relationships with Cohn, Kissinger, Epstein, Wall St., etc. Weird. Almost like somebody’s trying to scrub that history from the interwebs. Why would they want to do that?
