UPDATES on the Greater Kurdistan Project

by Scott Creighton

A new leak has been released by the CIA’s Washington Post which claims Jeff Sessions discussed Trump-related campaign issues with the Russian ambassador back during the election. This “news” reportedly centers around intel “leaks” dealing with intercepts between the ambassador and other Russians. It’s hearsay at best and since there is no way to verify the information, it’s clearly done in an effort to further destabilize the Trump administration. (quote is from Guardian since the original is behind a paywall)

The Post cited an unnamed US official who called Sessions’ statements “misleading” and “contradicted by other evidence”. An unnamed former official said the intelligence indicated Sessions and Kislyak had “substantive” discussions on matters including Trump’s positions on Russia-related issues and prospects for bilateral relations in a Trump administration, the paper reported.

The officials acknowledged that the ambassador could have mischaracterised the meetings in his briefings to Moscow. Guardian

The “why now?” part of this story is obvious: the Trump administration has decided to stop funding the CIA’s terrorist destabilization contractors in Syria.

CNN, another U.S. intelligence agency asset, summed up the administration’s move this way:

“It’s a strategic mistake…. (support for the rebels (terrorists)) was a pressure point on Assad and a pressure point on the Iranians… and the Russians,” according to Bob Baer, CNN Intelligence and security analyst and former CIA operative. “It looks like, to me, that he just gave that as a gift to Vladimir Putin for no quid pro quo and that’s not the way diplomacy works. We should’ve used this, we should’ve demanded, for example, safe zones so the Sunnis wouldn’t get hit from the air… so this is just inexplicable, why he would do this. CNN

In essence what Bob Baer is saying is he thinks we should have held out for some kind of promise from the Syrians and the Russians that our Glorious Kurds would get a chunk of Syria in exchange for us pulling out our terrorists. That’s exactly what he’s saying and what’s amazing is… no one is holding him to account for such a statement.

It’s blackmail. That’s what he’s saying. State-sponsored, terrorist blackmail. And it’s so ingrained in his thinking, and apparently in the thinking of the producers at CNN who put it on the air and the talking heads interviewing Baer… that NO ONE EVEN NOTICED what he was saying was an endorsement of using BLACKMAIL to get what we want.

John McCain apparently sees the world in much the same way:

“If these reports are true, the administration is playing right into the hands of Vladimir Putin,” John McCain, the Republican chairman of the Senate armed services committee, countered. “Making any concession to Russia, absent a broader strategy for Syria, is irresponsible and short-sighted,” he said” Financial Times

Is that diplomacy these days? Does no one else even notice how perverted these people have become?

A Turkish news agency has published a map of illegal U.S. military bases in northern Syria.

Turkish Anadolu news agency reported on Tuesday that the United States had a total of 10 military outposts in Syria in the territory controlled by the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) and Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG). Sputnik

Penny from Penny for your thoughts, covered this story when it first broke. Here’s the map.

Sergey Lavrov recently commented about the presence of the illegal bases:

“The United States does not advertise its bases very much, and the fact that these bases do not have a legal basis is also obvious to all.

It turns out that, by and large, Mr. Pompeo wants the same thing as us in Syria, only several times more. One more big difference: we do not hide our two bases, they are created and operate on the basis of intergovernmental agreements, and their task is to assist in the fight against terrorists”. Sergey Lavrov

These are bases being used in support of the Kurds as they ethnically cleanse parts of the country they wish to steal for themselves. Here is part of a report from Andrew Korybko published on Global Village Space which carefully explains how the Kurds and “ISIS” are now working together to drive Syrian Arabs from Raqqa so the Kurds can claim it for part of Greater Kurdistan.

Reports have come out that the US is supporting the SDF-YPG through the illegal use of white phosphorus, which is a banned chemical weapon. Combined with the heavy and indiscriminate airstrikes being carried out against the city, 160,000 civilians have been forced to become refugees and flee their homes as internally displaced people. This works out to more than half of the city’s pre-war population of 220,000, and it confirms what independent journalist and associate editor at 21stcenturywire.com Vanessa Beeley told RT just recently about how the US is making no attempt whatsoever to protect civilians. In fact, it can be cynically suggested, the large-scale population exodus taking place in Raqqa is actually a deliberate ethnic cleansing of the majority-Arab population of the city on a much larger scale than any of the similar crimes that the Kurds have been accused of before.

This conclusion isn’t as far off as one might initially think since the Kurds proudly proclaimed before the battle started that they will annex the city to their self-proclaimed “Democratic Federation of Northern Syria” once it’s in their hands Andrew Korybko

Listen to this U.S. SOCOM commander explain to an audience how they came up with the name Syrian Democratic Forces in order to “rebrand” the terrorists of the Kurdish PKK/YPG. He knows damn well what these people are about over there.

Over next door in Iraq, tensions are ramping up in wake of our brutal bloody bombardment of Mosul which killed countless civilians as we sought to finally put down the uprising against our puppet regime.

Nuri al-Maliki, our first dictator who now serves as Vice President, traveled to Russia to talk with them about a new post-GMCIR Iraq. At a press conference he had some pretty interesting things too say about the U.S.

“They (the United States) say – and I regret this and reject this – that the victory is their achievement because they led this war, but really this is a victory of the Iraqi army. Yes, they supported us with their aviation, but the main credit belongs to the Iraqi soldiers, the people’s militia, Iraq’s air force…

The US doesn’t have the right to say that people’s militia, which is comprised of the sons of Iraq, of whom 20,000 have been killed and wounded, are terrorists. If it weren’t for the people’s militia, there wouldn’t be any Sunnis or Shiites left”. The Duran

The people’s militia ARE terrorists. They ethnically cleanse areas and torture and kill civilians just like the Kurds do. They are currently “mopping up” in Mosul, killing civilians by the thousands, civilians who helped the GMCIR in their effort to retake Iraq from our neoliberal puppets.

Interestingly, Maliki now says he wants the U.S. bases out of Iraq, now that we helped put down the revolution. He also said we created “ISIS”

Similarly, the U.S. military is starting to see the writing on the wall in Syria as well:

The head of Special Forces said Friday that Russia had established a more credible foothold than the U.S. in Syria, and that Moscow could use this influence to essentially expel his forces

“Here’s the conundrum: We are operating in the sovereign country of Syria. The Russians, their stalwarts, their backstoppers have already uninvited the Turks from Syria. We’re a bad day away from the Russians saying, ‘Why are you still in Syria, U.S.?,'” Thomas said.

“If the Russians play that card, we could want to stay and have no ability to do it,” he added. Newsweek

Special Forces are the ones who hire and work directly with the terrorists through their “unconventional warfare” operations. Notice he fails to mention the fact that the Russians are there legally while we are not. The closest he gets is admitting they have a “more credible foothold” than we do.

Ours isn’t credible because we are illegally invading the country with terrorists in order to force a regime change so our business interests and our friends in Israel can cash in.

The Russians are simply there to kill our terrorist contractors and protect the legal and publicly supported government of the country.

See how that works?

To make matters worse, on July 14th the Syrians submitted a letter to the UN demanding compensation from the U.S. and the “coalition of the willing” for deliberately bombing civilians and civilian infrastructure in Syria.

As I am writing this article, there is breaking news out of Syria that they have declared a ceasefire in Ghouta. If you recall, that is the location where our terrorist contractors used chemical weapons back during the Obama days to try to gin-up a narrative about Assad “crossing Obama’s red line”

  1. What barriers are needed to deter the spooks from these nefarious projects? How likely is Syria to find peace and rebuild itself if the Russian army continues assisting them?
