Turns Out Nikki Haley’s Colin Powell Moment was Her Going “Off the Reservation” (Possibly Taking Orders from Someone Else?)

by Scott Creighton

“The people of South Carolina are embarrassed by Nikki Haley!” Donald Trump, Oct. 2016

A little while ago after the White Helmets (formerly known as the Islamic State Fire Brigade) staged a little street theater claiming Assad used chemical weapons against civilians in Syria, Nikki Haley pulled a Colin Powell at the UN Security Council where she directly blamed Assad and called for regime change action based entirely on the ham-handed false flag op and the subsequent propaganda produced by “ISIS” and al Qaeda.

At the time I thought she was going off in her own direction because the State Department and Trump had just said they had decided to let the Syrian people decide Assad’s fate and that regime change was no longer their priority in the country.

Of course I was ridiculed for coming to that conclusion.

Then this happened…

“The United States ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki R. Haley, has often been the first, most outspoken member of the Trump administration to weigh in on key foreign policy issues, on everything from military strikes on Syria to sanctions against Russia and how to approach human rights.

Much of that has come as a surprise to the State Department, and the Secretary of State, Rex W. Tillerson, has often been far from the limelight.

Now, in an apparent attempt to foster greater coherence in American foreign policy, State Department officials are urging her aides to ensure her public remarks are cleared by Washington first.

An email drafted by State Department diplomats urged Ms. Haley’s office to rely on “building blocks” written by the department to prepare her remarks.

Her comments should be “re-cleared with Washington if they are substantively different from the building blocks, or if they are on a high-profile issue such as Syria, Iran, Israel-Palestine, or the D.P.R.K.,” added the email, the text of which was seen by The Times. D.P.R.K. refers to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, or North Korea.

The State Department and the United States mission at the United Nations did not respond to requests for comment…” New York Times

Seems like Nikki had her hand slapped by Trump and the State Department for taking it upon herself to grand stand at the UN. Subsequent interviews she did right after that BS moment of hers made me feel even more that she had done that on her own, without direct approval from her bosses at State and the White House. However, up until this moment, I did not have confirmation of that fact. Today I do.

Now, does everybody like Nikki?” the president asked his lunch guests (UNSC representatives). “Because if you don’t, otherwise, she can easily be replaced.New York Times

Haley was no fan of Trump during the campaign. As an establishment Republican she first endorsed Marco Rubio and when he was gone, she “prayed” Ted Cruz would win.

In the end Nikki said she would vote for Trump while still refusing to endorse him.

On March the 30th Haley said it was official administration policy that the demand for Assad to go was no longer our first and foremost priority with regard to the conflict we created in the country.

On April 10th, she said regime change was “inevitable” and that the US may “take action on our own” to see it happens.

On April the 5th Nikki took it upon herself to tell the world what the Syrian people wanted when she said Assad was a “disgusting war criminal” and that the Syrians wanted him gone. Not a single shred of what she said was factual by the way.

Nikki Haley, waving around pictures of kids at the UN Security Council, using them like props in a cheap community theater production of Major Barbara, was working for the Deep State at that moment. The same Deep State who staged the false flag attack in the first place.

She was hoping to generate enough traction back here at home to gin up support for an all out invasion of Syria or at least the creation of No Fly Zones, someone war-mongers like Hillary Clinton and John McCain have been pushing for non-stop.

So she was working for them or she was working for Israel who have NEVER given up hope that Assad is driven out of Syria so they can bust it up, giving a piece to the Kurds for Greater Kurdistan and taking a chunk for themselves, the Golan Heights (where lots of energy resources lie in wait as well as an endless supply of water which Israel desperately covets)

Whomever you believe she was working for at that time, it certainly seems with today’s little quiet revelation, that Nikki Haley definitely wasn’t working for the State Department or the White House when she did her little dance at the UN.

And that also ties into what I wrote a little later when I concluded that not only did Trump not give the order to drop the Mother Of All Distractions bomb in Afghanistan, but he probably never gave the order for the launching of the cruise missiles at the Syrian airbase while he was sitting around eating “beautiful” chocolate cake.

Seems when Trump and party decided to step back away from the brink of war, someone took charge of the vehicles of foreign policy and made moves on their own. Not too say that leaves Trump blameless, because the buck stops with him and if he can’t get control of his administration, he’s woefully incapable of the job. But it’s a very interesting development and with little glimpses like this one, we may see some backlash from the administration targeting these rogue elements operating within his administration.

  1. Trump should fire her now. How many acts of treason can a person do and not be punished?

  2. Sounds like someone needs his own little SS to go in and clean out the rogue elements.

  3. An email drafted by State Department diplomats urged Ms. Haley’s office to rely on “building blocks” written by the department to prepare her remarks.

Building blocks? Do they have numbers and letters of the alphabet on the side?

  4. It is too late now and it does not matter. What Trump wanted or wants or what is his position is irrelevant. You can use it in his obituary that he wanted well but was subverted by the Deep State. The Deep State was matter than you and I. They let Trump win because they knew they can get from him what they wanted. Perhaps they knew they could get from him more than what Hillary could offer. It is very likely that Trump does not really care this way or another. Why should he? Besides it is possible his brain is fried.

    • I agree, Trump is in charge of his Florida flight schedule, but that’s it. Nothing he promised will happen and we will continue to circle the drain begun on 9/11 as before just at increased speed. I also think that Nicky will completely ignore State Dept orders and no one will fire her. HC had a sizeable political machine behind her so she could have set policy; Trump only has Bannon, they, their promises and the US worker never stood a chance.

    • Someone once said it’s impossible to convince someone of something if their paycheck depends on them not understanding it and I think that can easily be applied to Pres. Trump. He’s got far too much to lose if he pushes for the populist actions he promised to get elected and even though the guy concentrates on nothing other than his ratings, I’m sure he doesn’t mind letting those slip in order to keep his bank accounts flush. They probably brought the idiot into a board room somewhere, surrounded him with real executives and multi-billionaires and made him face his Come to Jesus moment. After all, he’s not really a captain of industry, as Ayn might call him. He’s a Daddy’s Boy with a silver spoon who partied past his 30s and let real businessmen run his empire for him. His only success was playing a billionaire on TV and now he does it from the White House. The masters brought him in and had a little chat with him. Now he has his mind right. I’m sure he wanted to produce on some of the populist promises he made. He talks about nothing else really, so that is not a hard conclusion to come to. But in the end, Mr. Smith doesn’t change Washington, Washington changes Mr. Smith. One way or another, elected or selected, they will always get what they want in the end. That’s why we can’t vote our way out of it. The unDemocratic Party primary should have taught us that.

  5. “The same day that Tillerson woofed at Iran, it came out that Adelson had given $5 million to Trump’s inauguration festivities…Adelson was similarly generous to the Trump campaign. A year ago, Adelson “announced he will pour $100 million into the formerly self-funded Trump campaign”…Adelson’s one issue is Israel; and his view of Iran is entirely oppositional. In 2013 at Yeshiva University in New York, he called on the United States to nuke Iran…The new ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley is also echoing the Adelson line…Haley is also in the hole to Adelson. Last year Adelson gave $250,000 to a political committee in South Carolina that targeted opponents of then-Governor Haley…Haley had come through for Adelson in 2015, when she passed the first law against boycotts of Israel— about the same time as Adelson convened an anti-BDS summit in Las Vegas. And Haley was the belle of the ball at the AIPAC conference last month, when she went on and on about kicking Israel’s enemies…Ironically, Trump himself noted Adelson’s use of money to exert political influence. In October 2015, Trump warned that Adelson was going to own FL Senator Marco Rubio, making him his “perfect little puppet”…two months later…Adelson and Trump met, and Trump said: “Sheldon knows that nobody will be more loyal to Israel than Donald Trump”…Trump gave a rightwing pro-Israel speech to AIPAC, the Israel lobby group, last spring, reportedly written by his adviser, Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner…Trump met with Adelson again in New York ahead of the Inauguration gift…Just as he did in the George W. Bush administration 16 years ago, Adelson has sought to create…a burgeoning neocon braintrust in the Trump administration. Money plays a big part…The only way Adelson’s influence will end is if the media make a lot of what is a corrupt process; and Adelson’s actions get politicized. That won’t be happening any time soon.”
