  1. Bombs don’t care who they hurt. It takes a bomber to care

  2. Must – kill – everyone … except fetuses.

  3. Some anti-war type book I once read way back (don’t remember which one, there’s been many) said some of the bomber pilots used to take their loads out and dump them in the ocean.

Maybe it was a fiction, maybe not

  4. When sanctions are used to weaken a country, they hurt only the citizens that have no control over the situation and are not involved in the governmental decisions that lead to the sanctions. The rich ruling class is unaffected, other than possibly facing a growing threat of internal revolt that could threaten their power. This is understood and intentional, because in establishing and maintaining political position, people in the rich ruling class have unambiguously proven unanimously through their actions (their words are meaningless as can be deduced quite easily with simple observation) that they do not actually care who they hurt or kill, nor how many they hurt or kill. Why would bombing campaigns supposedly targeting military targets be any different? They nearly always result in “accidents” that just happen to hit hospitals, schools, water infrastructure and energy infrastructure. They serve the exact same purpose as sanctions. They weaken the overall effectiveness and health of the citizens of the country, which is the conscious objective, in order to create an internal threat against the leadership. These are not mistakes. Civilians and civilian infrastructure are the actual planned targets of these bombing campaigns.
