  1. […] via Those “final messages” from Aleppo Syria look more like a coordinated PR campaign — American E… […]

  2. Anne Hidalgo is mayor of Paris. Last night she ordered all the lights turned off on the Eiffel Tower to mourn the Western Empire’s humiliating defeat in Syria.

When ISIS ™ terrorist attacks hit Paris in November 2015, European leaders rushed to express support for the French. However this solidarity does not extend to Syria and its fight with ISIS.™ To the contrary, Europe is mourning ISIS’ losses.

While Paris mourns the liberation of Aleppo, the people in Aleppo are jubilant about it

  3. “Common Dreams” is one of those “leftist” blogs that spread right-wing lies.

One post is titled, “The Six Most Common Middle East Conspiracy Theories.”

    [1] The US created ISIS™
[2] The US was the secret instigator of all the Arab Spring uprisings. (In reality no one claims this. The USA hijacked the uprisings.)
[3] The Syria uprising was not a popular movement, but instead was instigated by the US in order to remove Assad.
[4] Iran is the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. (The post includes this morsel of truth in order to enhance the lies.)
[5] The US intentionally creates failed states like Libya in order to keep the region in turmoil.
[6] The Bush administration planned the 9/11 attacks in order to start wars in the Middle East.

The author of this trash published a book about this in 2014, with a forward by Noam Chomsky. No surprise there.

One reader snarks, “Why not add these ‘conspiracy theories,’ to the list?
[7] The US was behind the coup of the democratically elected President of Iran in 1953.
[8] The US was behind the Coup of Allende in Chile in 1973.
[9] The US was behind the Coup of Arbenz in Guatemala in 1954.
[10] The US was behind the Coup of Zelaya in Honduras in 2009.

    • One more conspiracy theory for the list, Elizabeth: (11) The US was behind the more than 600 attempts to assassinate Fidel Castro.

      • Castro came to power with the help off dear old CIA. Do you really think USA would fight the danger off communism in places like Vietnam – but ignore tha danger on it’s own doorstep?

        • No matter how big a fool someone is, we are the bigger fool for trying to reason with him or her.

          • Regardless of how he came to power, once there, no serious efforts to depose him were followed through on, “exploding cigars” notwithstanding. Castro, whose revolution was Marxist-Leninst in the truest sense, in that it was prosecuted by an “intellectual middle class” with minimal involvement of the Cuban peasantry, spent his final days writing articles about global warming (among other things) which were featured in forums like CounterPunch,

Castro had a more noble position on a number of issues such as the Israeli genocide of Palestinians and the fake Ukrainian revolution, and Cuba is practically unparalleled in offering humanitarian aid such as sending free government trained medical doctors to render assistance, from Haiti to the Dakota pipeline protest camps. “Cuban medics in Haiti put the world to shame” which stands in contrast to the “assistance” sent by the Israelis, to render human organs and orphan sex slaves.

I suspect this is one of those odd cases where the truth may not be quite so black and white, and perhaps Castro wound up doing a balancing act. In the end, Castro lived out his days in comfort and security, whereas Che Guevara was last seen posing for photographs on a slab for president Barrientos (seen here drinking wine from Benjamin Franklin’s cellar with Mallory Archer http://i.ytimg.com/vi/n-x_LaXTb9I/maxresdefault.jpg) It’s worth noting that Cubans sing folk songs about Che, not Fidel.
