Congress, Like the Sneaky Pedo Uncle of the Family, Slips CISA (CISPA) Into Law in the Dead of the Night

by Scott Creighton

the time has come — indeed, it is long overdue — for the wisdom, ingenuity and resources of American business to be marshalled against those who would destroy it. Lewis Powell memo, 1971

We gotta get Bill Gates to shut down the internet, for the CHILDREN!” Donald Trump

CISA (CISPA) is now the law of the land.

Your sneaky uncles in congress snuck into your bedroom the other night and planted their fascist seed into the futures of your children. Then sneakier ObamaGod took his turn, signed it into law and ran away into the night zipping up his pants to go party with his Big Business friends in Hawaii.

Yeah, it’s a nasty metaphor, but an even nastier reality.

Big Business has been pushing for CISPA for years. Back in early 2013, they killed Aaron Swartz to make sure he wouldn’t be around to lead the charge against it like he did the first time the public will killed the fascist wet dream of theirs. That’s because CISPA (now CISA) hands over complete control of your internet, email and phone information (“internet of everything“, remember) and everything else really,  to Big Business allowing them to do with it as they see fit and leaving you with absolutely no recourse whatsoever.

In all, with the aligned companies that make up the various Roundtables and alliances, there are 800 corporations that support the passage of CISPA…

April 15th, 2013… right before this whole thing kicked off and Glenn Greenwald was contacted by Edward Snowden, 200 senior IBM executives hit D.C. like a plague of locusts to push them to pass the new CISPA bill.

The message we’re going to give [lawmakers] is going to be a very simple, clear message: support the passage of CISPA,” he later added. The Hill

Scott Creighton, June 2013

If you think it was a bad idea to allow a handful of NSA techies access to your metadata, CISA provides all your data to a hundred thousand faceless corporate ladder climbers to do with as they see fit just so long as they have a “good faith belief” that you might be up to no good.

How’s that for “CHANGE”?

It’s name forever tarnished with the knowledge that is was pure fascism, CISPA was reborn as CISA so the congress critters might be able to vote for it before anyone noticed they were the same bill. That didn’t work, thanks to the internet, and CISA met with resistance from law makers unwilling to sign their own pink slips by voting for it.

Earlier this year, the “Snowden” psyop successfully provided the pretext for the passage of the “USA Freedom Act”, written by the same guy who wrote the Patriot Act.

That law allows for companies to be paid by the government to collect everything you generate electronically, including both metadata as well as content (emails, texts, phone calls… everything) and then to process it looking for patterns and basically making determinations about you based on what they collect.

CISA takes it all one step further by providing immunity for the Big Telecom companies from any kind of prosecution and allows them to share information (or sell it) to anyone willing to buy it (other companies or, say, the Mossad, for example)

“Despite being labeled as cybersecurity legislation, critics of CISA argue that it’s a surveillance bill that would allow companies to share user info with the US government and other businesses.” engadget

It also allows for them to take matters into their own hands in terms of handling what they consider to be threats you (or your opinion) might pose to “national interests” like Monsanto or Disney for example.

“And the latest version actually chips away even further at the remaining personal information protections that privacy advocates had fought for in the version of the bill that passed the Senate…so that companies hand information directly to law enforcement and intelligence agencies instead of to the Department of Homeland Security. And it also changes when information shared for cybersecurity reasons can be used for law enforcement investigations. The earlier bill had only allowed that backchannel use of the data for law enforcement in cases of “imminent threats,” while the new bill requires just a “specific threat,” potentially allowing the search of the data for any specific terms regardless of timeliness.” Wired

They can either shut you down, turn off your computer for good, or, in extreme cases, send some samples of your work (or some they make up themselves) to your local law enforcement officials and have you rounded-up and arrested.

Imagine how much BP wishes CISA was the law of the land back when they spilled all that oil in the Gulf.

Now you understand why 800 major companies demanded CISPA (CISA) back in 2013 and why they spent so much money lobbying for it.

Three days ago the “outsider” Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, slipped a new version of CISA into the 1.1 trillion dollar omnibus government spending bill. Yesterday in a late night session, the House passed it so they ran it over to the Senate who was waiting for it and they passed it in about an hour. A 2,000 page bill.

President Peace Prize who had promised to veto CISPA (CISA) signed it into law last night and then rushed off for his Christmas vacation in Hawaii.

Those 800 companies finally got their money’s worth.

Recent developments do not bode well for our open internet or our open society for that matter.

After the “Freedom Act” was signed into law and clearly in anticipation of the passage of CISA, Microsoft has been pushing Windows 10 upgrades for free on everyone using Bill Gates’ operating system on their computers. In fact it’s almost impossible to buy a new computer aside from Apple without Windows 10 being pre-installed on it.

Giving away free operating systems might at first seem like an odd business practice for the trillion dollar CIA created company to implement. You might think that until you take a slightly closer look at the end user agreement you are forced to agree to when you install it.

One of Windows 10’s leaps, unfortunately, is straight into your personal data…. By default, Windows 10 gives itself the right to pass loads of your data to Microsoft’s servers (and Big Business that wants to buy it), use your bandwidth for Microsoft’s own purposes, and profile your Windows usage

The problems start with Microsoft’s ominous privacy policy, which is now included in the Windows 10 end-user license agreement so that it applies to everything you do on a Windows PC, not just online.

end-user agreement reads: “Finally, we will access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of your emails, other private communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary.” –  from Slate

Slate goes on to say only “conspiracy theorists” would read anything nefarious into this statement. They think it’s just ‘sloppy wording” as if the scores of high priced lawyers who Microsoft employs to craft such language are ‘sloppy’

For all the arguments and “discussions” we had since Big Business and the CIA gave us “Edward Snowden”, here we have all of the accumulated nightmares of all the anti-NSA side written out in a single sentence from Big Business’s own flagship company, Microsoft.

Everything is in it. They take and collect your content (not just meta data), they sell it, they store it, they profile you based on it and they view everything you do with that computer as being fair game to them, not just what happens online. But everything.

And what pray-tell is the process for this intrusion into your privacy? A court order like it used to be?

No. All Microsoft needs is to have a “good faith belief” that you are up to no good and they can do WTF they want to you.

They are given immunity from lawsuits and prosecution for what they do, what they take, how they harm you. And in fact, some say Microsoft goes so far as to claim they can do anything they want with your content because essentially, it belongs to them.

You see how CISPA is already being worked into the equation?

Here’s another example. Remember this:

“We’re losing a lot of people because of the Internet. We have to see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what’s happening. We have to talk to them about, maybe in certain areas, closing that Internet up in some way.” Daily News

Yes. The ultimate fake “outsider” candidate, Donald Trump, making ready his fan base for the Bill Gates/Microsoft purge of the internet on behalf of puppies, babies and mom’s apple pie because someone at Facebook (also CIA) made up a lie about some patsies pledging their loyalty to ISIS™.

If 8+ years of doing this research taught me anything it’s that this stuff doesn’t happen in a vacuum and there are no such things as coincidences.

The ISIS™ boogeyman, the war on the constitution, the expansion of the Endless War OF Terror, the American Gladio operations, mandated insurance participation, CISPA, CISA, Fast Track, the TPP, the TTIP, the new Cold War… and now the shuttering of dissent and the chilling effect of the necessity of self censorship for self preservation.

It’s not history, it’s someone’s to-do list. It’s a step-by-step process for the destruction of an open society, a democratic republic, and the replacement of it with a fascist, totalitarian state. And it was foretold to us, long, long ago.

the time has come — indeed, it is long overdue — for the wisdom, ingenuity and resources of American business to be marshalled against those who would destroy it. Lewis Powell memo, 1971

  1. I’ve read worse articles. A $10 donation is on the way. Don’t spend it all at once.

  2. Well, if you are against the system enough to want to write articles of complaint, shouldn’t you be glad that they’ll finally be listening? Shouldn’t those complaints be shouted from the rooftops using a MEGAPHONE, and not whispered in basements in little groupthink sessions?

The Internet was always a control mechanism, it was just launched with a veneer of ‘freedom’. Its purpose is to maintain necessary continuous economic growth, via ongoing mass consumerism. As Exhibit A, I present… look at the state of it! It’s one big general store. When people aren’t shopping on it, they’re wasting/killing time on it, waiting to shop on it. For the PTB, your site falls into the latter category. It’s why others (and me) responded to your funding posts by basically suggesting that you look to obtaining advertising revenue.

    Which brings me to people.

Cypher: You know, I know this steak doesn’t exist. I know that when I put it in my mouth, the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After nine years, you know what I realize?
    [Takes a bite of steak]
    Cypher: Ignorance is bliss.

You can’t change that. They don’t want you to change it. That’s why they get angry if you try to tell them a nything about that steak. Some of us found out that it isn’t really steak. We’re basically condemned to a lifetime of eating bowls of snot.

In the grand scheme of things, we’re kooks, and we’ll always be kooks. Nobody cares what we write or read (as long as we’re not instigating anything or actually doing anything to hinder the course of business). For them, you’re the modern equivalent of a guy with a ‘The End Is Nigh’ sandwichboard. All you’re doing here is making me feel better. I’m happier knowing that I’m not the only one who can see Nurse Ratched abusing her authority. I like the camaraderie that comes with joking about the snot we have to eat. It’s still a very necessary service, however.

I’m pretty sure that you’ll never be materially inconvenienced by the passing of these laws. The Stasi is only necessary where there’s nothing for the people to buy. You don’t need fancy mind control techniques when minds volunteer to follow the Kardashians.

    • Your post makes several good points. But I think the following sentence has serious flaws – ” When people aren’t shopping on it, they’re wasting/killing time on it, waiting to shop on it.”

That might be true for a 20-year-old who only uses the internet for pop music, movies, entertainment gossip, chatting about boyfriends and buying things online. You’re forgetting about those of us who GET INFORMATION and discuss this information online.

In addition to the internet being one giant shopping mall (which it certainly is), imagine it also as a library for the information seekers. Imagine a major public library before the days of the internet. It probably usually had a few people scattered around the tables, reading. Now imagine many more libraries of the same size and imagine almost every table being full of readers. That could be an analogy for the internet today and that’s the information explosion we need to focus on

      • In other words, a more aware and informed society.

        • What are you materially doing with that information? I’m pretty sure that you’re killing time here, as am I. It makes us feel better to discover that we’re not alone in our perception of the world (just as the sites the 20 year olds visit makes them feel better). However, it’s all vanity, and chasing after the wind. And it ultimately makes us feel worse.

          Sticking with the Ecclesiastes theme…

For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief. (Ecc. 1:18)

That could be the truther’s Bible verse.

          • A little truth, cleverly directed, is a powerful weapon, is it not? Whether intended or not … Disarming, if nothing else. Psychology is so fascinating. When tied together with scientifically studied biology, powerful indeed.

    • Ha!

      He said ‘megaphone’!

  3. “I’m pretty sure that you’ll never be materially inconvenienced by the passing of these laws.”
Classic! Yep, nobody is inconvenienced until they plan a vacation and purchase plane tickets and reserve a hotel, only to be turned away the day of their flight because they are now on the No Flight List.

    • Simple solution….Dont play in their matrix…Dont fly or make reservations….or “F” with them, make the res but staycation at home, dont do what you tell your computer your going to do…It all becomes total BS for them and a total waste for their time and effort….Let them track the facebook sheeple…

    • That might be where you and I differ. All my theories and complaints regarding the system and the PTB have to do with past actions. Stuff that actually happened. What they did. I don’t enter the maybe world of the future. What they’re going to do.

911 was 15 years ago and I’ve felt it at airport security, nowhere else. 911 was a joke, but judging by the number of drunken and otherwise loonies reportedly flying now, it might not be a bad thing that they’re routinely checking people for pointy implements, etc.

Do you personally know anyone who is on the No Fly List? Is there any way for you to verify that this or that person in the public eye was really turned away from a flight?

I imagine people are put on the No Fly List for one of two reasons: either they’re seen as an actual threat to you and I, or they pissed someone off for reasons that have nothing to do with exposing false flags, etc. Every one I’ve ever heard of complain about being turned away has always stated that they have no idea why they’re on it. I’m guessing that they’re rather naive people.

On top of everything else, there are just too many people, talking too much crap online, for the government to be able to afford to monitor any of it effectively.

The Illuminati is already firmly in control. That control is implemented in school, in the media, and by way of advertising. Obese, greedy, selfish, over-emotional automatons aren’t going to revolt (well, not in the sense I mean).

  4. It’s 20 degrees out here this morning, feels like 10. Still, this dog needs his walk every day or he goes nuts. Out we went.

There was a girl, maybe middle-school age, out in the park, swinging. I’ve seen her out there before, only on days like today, always alone, always swinging in the same swing—swinging, hard as she can.

I wave to her, but she’s like the guy in the group home down the street who walks around that yard in circles, smoking his cigarettes hard, arguing loudly with someone only he can see, in a language only he can understand.

Neither seems to notice other people, so maybe she lives down there, too. Sometimes, I feel sorry for people like them, and wonder what it would be like.

Times like these, I think they might be lucky

    • Dont pity them because their reality is different then yours…They maybe having the time of there lifes….Hows your reality working out for you?

    • Hey Roy, times might seem like they suck, but have there ever been “good times” really? There’s been better and worse ties for different groups of people, but all times have been very good for some and very bad for others, and cruelty and malice have always been involved quite actively.

  5. Ive been playing a pop up ad game for should play to…I live in LA LA land but will search some thing like “farm tractor tires” and see how many pop up ads I get…I have NO need for tractor tires…dont have a tractor or a farm. Your data can be total BS if you want it to….
Im a guy but will search fem products and get hot chick pop up ads…
Its fun to screw with the “new” mother nature….

    • You’re “screwing” with a computer program. And its name isn’t HAL.

And the big Illuminati conspiracy is… to make you buy more stuff, on credit you can’t afford, if possible.

All you have to do is keep working and keep buying. Nobody is going to drag a good consumer off to the Gulag. Such would only represent a loss on 12-14 years of ‘education’ investment.

There are only two non-criminal sins in this world: Don’t consume enough and don’t generate taxes. Like Las Vegas casino spectators, however, educated people are allowed to remain on-site, due to the likelihood that they’ll one day catch the bug.

The prisons are full of poor, dysfunctional people. Now you know why.

  6. Throughout the article I marvelled at the fluidity of the words – not because you aren’t always on point, but because I couldn’t bring myself to think of the horrors of what you were saying. In just a few minutes, it became clear to me that based on the timing (c’mon, right before xmas, really?), the elusive behavior, the overwhelming support against the people, the snowden bs, the sheer egregiousness of the bill itself… It became crystal fucking clear that time was officially up. I then started to look towards the future and wondered if yesterday’s internet usage counts against me or not. I realized that, yes, it is safe to assume that not only yesterday, but the way the justice system is ran, you can bet any and all data from its collective inception can and will be used against me eventually.

Its obvious they don’t want us to submit, or try and work things out with us. Nope. Like a vengeful ex cheating on you on your anniversary, they are provoking and inciting us, they are daring us to do something.

Well, fuck it. I’m doing something. I’m donating my last nine bucks to the cause. It’s been a year since my last donation but I definitely got my money’s worth. I’m not counting on another year, it would be great if you could… but I don’t blame you a bit if you cant. Thanks, Scott.

  7. Informative article,intelligent comments.That’s why I come here.

  8. The fact that it’s even possible to ‘slip in’ an unrelated addendum to a bill should be illegal. A great deal of noise recently about censoring the Internet and now this… I’ve been wondering the past few months how long it will be until the day when I get on my computer and can’t get to any sites trying to expose the truth.

The recent Trenton the Blacksmith debunking 9/11 foolishness speaks volumes about the desperation of the globalist. I’ve seen numerous commenters asking why now? My guess is the San Bernardino hoax that was so quickly and widely exposed opened some new eyes and pointed folks to 9/11. So the Trenton vid is an attempt to reassure those in doubt that those 9/11 ‘truthers’ are just crazy.

The doors are fast closing shut…

    • It’s not the truth if nobody believes it. The truth is what at least 51% of the people say it is. That the 911 official narrative is a lie will NEVER be the truth.

Government exists to facilitate business, nothing else. You have “rights” to facilitate your getting to your cubicle, nothing else.

  9. Anybody ever listen to The Clash? Anybody still listen to The Clash? They had it right nearly forty years ago …
    Try “Clampdown”.
    Try “Jail Guitar Doors”.
And best of all try “I’m So Bored with the U.S.A.
Wanna imagine a real universal Thanksgiving Day? That would be one day per year when the U.S.A. completely disappears from the scene. A day of peace. A day with out drones. A day without terror.
Good going America … it took you 70 years but you’ve finally outdone the Nazis.

(Thanks, Scott for a great article.)

    • So, the annihilation of the indigenous and the subsequent enslavement of foreigners were just fantasies? Americans have been the Nazis’ equals since the very first Pequot Massacre Day.

—I learned that in 1637 the body of a white man was discovered dead in a boat. Armed settlers — which we tell our children were God fearing, gentle, sharing, kind Pilgrims — invaded a Pequot village. They also set the village, which included many children, on fire. Those who were lucky enough to escape the fire were systematically sought, hunted down and killed. While many, including historians, still debate what exactly happened this day, also known as the Pequot Massacre, it directly led to the creation of “Thanksgiving Day.” This is what the governor of Bay Colony had to say days after the massacre, “A day of thanksgiving. Thanking God that they had eliminated over 700 men, women and children.”

William B. Newell, a Penobscot Indian and former chairman of the Anthropology Department at the University of Connecticut stated, “Gathered in this place of meeting, they were attacked by mercenaries and English and Dutch. The Indians were ordered from the building and as they came forth were shot down, The rest were burned alive in the building. The very next day the governor declared a Thanksgiving Day. For the next 100 years, every Thanksgiving Day ordained by a Governor was in honor of the bloody victory, thanking God that the battle had been won.”—

Perhaps that was also the first false flag excuse to invade and kill foreigners. You’d have to imagine that a nation built on such foundations would be cursed.

      • C’mon man! You’re ruining our gentle history! You know as well as anyone that all massacres in the land now known as the USA before the turn of the 20th century were gentle humanitarian massacres for the betterment of all good Christians. Incidentally, Christians are apparently now the go-to group for unprovoked persecution. I suppose middle-aged white male Christians would logically be the most persecuted and down-trodden at this point.
