UPDATED: Now with photos! Yea!
[just a quick update]
Spot the cat is back home and feeling much better, sans 3 of his 4 canine teeth. He is going to be on antibiotics for the next two weeks and Cricket doesn’t recognize his smell so she wants to beat him up constantly. But aside from that, he’s doing alright. I tried to get a pic of him but it appears he’s a little self-conscience about his new smile. I’ll include one in an update a little later.
Thanks to everyone who helped with Spot and all the well-wishers. Spot is back home, healthy and happy and tolerating Church who keeps following him around licking him (poor cat)
Spot is back but Cricket is keeping an eye on him. Thinks he’s been replaced by an alien that just LOOKS like Spot.
Spot wanted no part of Cricket hissing at him or me with my stupid cell phone camera.
Soon enough, everything will be back to this I’m sure. Right now, I’m just glad he’s back.

I bet you’re relieved. Can’t wait to see a good picture of him!
I’m going to force him to do a selfie with me in a few minutes since he wont hold still for a photo. I think he thinks if I catch him, I’ll take him back to the vets office. I hate the idea of selfies, but it seems to be the only way to get a pic of him right now.
Cricket probably smells the veterinary office and finds it offensive. So glad Spot is getting better!
Cricket watches too much TV. she probably thinks he’s been replaced by the Body Snatchers or that thing from The Thing (I love that movie… the first one). Now she’s hissing at him… got to go… 😦
Cricket is very ambitious…. Spot is twice her size….. he is trying to be very patient with her… but he could lose his temper…. 🙂
And Church is trying to keep ‘peace’ between the two…… Scott, you have your hands full… !!!
I’m ignoring all of it. going to play old video game now. tuning out, turning off. I’ve done my bit for communal harmony.
Very glad to hear about Spot’s improvements. Thanks for all the sweet pics. 4th one specially, one big happy family!
The pics are indeed sweet — especially the whole gang together on the sofa. I’m glad it worked out.
The meaning of life is cats.
I thought it was 42
No one owns cats. Cats own you. They tolerate us.
So happy to hear your little ‘fur buddy’ is back home and doing well. It’s distressing for pet lovers when our animals get sick.
The last pic in particular paints a very idyllic scene. So peaceful and content they look!
