Israel Readies for Another Mavi Marmara Massacre With A Nice Propaganda Letter as a Parting Gift

by Scott Creighton

According to Israeli Ynetnews, Israel’s Navy is preparing to use commandos to hijack 4 ships that are making an attempt to run the illegal blockade of Gaza. Their intention is to intercept the 4 vessels of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla 3 at sea, presumably in international waters, board the vessels with their commandos in the early hours of the morning and then transport all the activists and ship’s staff to Israel where they will be interrogated and eventually released.

If that sounds an awful lot like what the IDF did to the Mavi Marmara, part of the original Freedom Flotilla, it’s ok. It should. Because that is exactly what they did to them. Oh well, that and they executed a couple of them while they were at it.

Paul Krugman’s apologia for Obamacare

from WSWS

The US Supreme Court voted Thursday to uphold a key provision of the Affordable Care Act, the Obama administration’s pro-business health care overhaul that cuts Medicare and fines households for being too poor to afford health insurance.

New York Times commentator Paul Krugman, a liberal apologist for the White House’s uniformly right-wing policies, responded to the Supreme Court’s decision by penning an op-ed column praising the legislation commonly known as Obamacare.

Krugman’s column, headlined “Hooray for Obamacare,” consists of one cynical lie after another aimed at convincing the public that Obama’s right-wing health care overhaul is an historic achievement for low-income Americans

Economic Terrorism Being Waged Against Greek People Prior to Austerity Referendum

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: Here is rock-star Yanis Varoufakis’ explanation of what happened and how they came to this referendum decision. He claims that Syriza didn’t have a “mandate” from the people of Greece to make a decision in this case because only 37% of the people voted for them. By that standard I guess Obama doesn’t have any mandates either. He puts forward the question “Can democracy and a monetary union coexist? Or must one give way?”

For the record he claims his Syriza buddies all oppose the deal but he firmly believes after enough terrorism from the banks, the people of Greece will eventually vote for austerity. Brutal austerity. The likes of which the Greek people haven’t even dreamed of yet.

UPDATE: As I suspected, a bank holiday has already been declared according to this source. Banks to remain closed until they can blackmail the Greek people into voting for austerity.

Just so you know, if they get away with this shit in Greece, they will do it here soon after. Iceland got it right. They arrested the bastards before letting them get to this stage.

The fake-left Syriza government of Greece is pulling a fast one. Or trying to anyway.

Negotiations with the masters of the universe (the EU, the IMF and the ECB ) haven’t gone so well. According to Greek Labor Minister Dimitris Stratoulis, the EU’s demands are a “complete humiliation” for Syriza and the “enslavement and extermination of the Greek people”.

After offering deeper austerity measures to his masters which turned out to be not brutal enough for their liking, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras returned to Athens (birthplace of democracy) with his tail between his legs and a new plan: let’s let the people decide.
