by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: Oh look at that. They are debating the Fast Track authority bill in the House today. Guess that wont get any press.

The U.S. House of Representatives plans to bring legislation central to President Barack Obama’s Pacific Rim trade agreement back to the floor for debate on Thursday, giving lawmakers a chance to deal with it in a different format. Reuters

I guess the House wont be flooded with emails and calls like it was last time.

They say his name is Dylann Storm Roof and he apparently likes taking pictures of himself pouting.

UN Report on Children and Armed Conflict Condemns Israel and is to be Discussed Publicly in Security Council Today

by Scott Creighton

And the timing of the Charleston shooting?

The United Nation’s report on children and armed conflict is “inaccurate” and biased against Israel, said Ron Prosor, Israel’s ambassador to the UN.

The UN Security Council is set to discuss the report Thursday, a prime feature of which, said UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, was “the unprecedented and unacceptable scale of the impact on children in 2014 raises grave concerns about Israel’s compliance with international humanitarian law … (and) excessive use of force.”

In response, Prosor said that the UN had missed a great deal of information in the report, which was prepared by Leila Zerrougui of Algeria.

Prosor said that she had colluded with anti-Israel groups to prepare a biased report that ignored the abuse of Hamas against civilians, including children, during last summer’s Operation Protective Edge – failing to include even evidence confirmed by the UN itself of how Hamas used the organization’s schools at launching sites for Hamas rocket attacks against Israeli civilians. Israel National News

The UN Security Council will hold a public debate on Thursday to discuss the latest United Nations report on children and armed conflict…

More than 2,100 Palestinians, mostly civilians and including 540 children, were killed during last year’s 50-day Gaza Strip war between Hamas and Israel, while 67 Israeli soldiers and six civilians in Israel were killed.

A UN inquiry found that Israel fired on seven UN schools and killed 44 Palestinians seeking shelter, while Palestinian militants hid weapons and launched attacks from empty UN schools….

The report includes 32 paragraphs on Israel, compared with eight on Iraq, 15 on Afghanistan, 18 on Syria and 11 on Darfur. DNA

Mother Emanuel Shooting Spree

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: Issue with “hate crime” question solved via hearsay “witness” testimony. A cousin of a victim says she spoke with someone who was a witness who claims suspect came into the building, asked for the pastor, sat WITH the pastor for the duration of the bible study, an hour, then started shooting folks. She claims the witness says (is hearsay testimony allowed in court? No? Didn’t think so. But it is allowed in race-baiting) he reloaded 5 times and the witness’s son was trying to talk him out of “doing the act of killing people” (set up for this round’s hero?) and he (suspect) just said… “uh… I have to do it. You rape our women and you are taking over our country and you have to go

Really? “You rape da white women”? Really? He went to a church to find black people who rape folks? Really? He was polite enough to wait til the end of bible study before slaughtering the rapists? Really?

Last night in Charleston, SC. around 9pm local time, authorities say a tiny little white guy with a bowl-cut hairstyle walked into the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church during a prayer meeting, sat down for a few moments without saying anything, then got up and opened fire.

According to the official story, he killed 9 people in total injuring one more.

In this case as in other mass casualty events in the recent past, the shooter left one witness alive so that she could tell the media what (and who) she saw commit the crime.
