The “Radical” Muslim Group That Threatened South Park Creators Was Founded and Run by Joseph Cohen, a Former Israeli Radical Who Used to Live in a Settlement in the West Bank

by Scott Creighton

***UPDATE*** 9:15pm EST 4-24-2010 – New article with updated information… Revolution Muslim Looks Like a CIA Operation: A New Breed of Mockingbird

Jon Stewart, go fuck yourself. You’re a propaganda spewing puppet and you’re no better than Glenn Beck.

2001 South Park Episode "Super Best Friends"

South Park ran an unedited image of Muhammad in 2001 in an episode called “Super Best Friends“… and nothing happened.

In fact, the episode had been on the South Park website for viewing at any time for the past few years (they just removed it)… and nothing happened.

For 4 seasons they had that image in their opening segment for every single show… and nothing happened.

So for years on end no Muslim group, “radical” or otherwise, has threatened Matt and Trey or Comedy Central about the image of Muhammad that has been available for all to see every single day.

All of a sudden last week a group called “Revolution Muslim” threatened violence against Comedy Central if they aired an image of Muhammad which forced Comedy Central to censor the show and now you have even liberals talking about those “radical Muslims” and their threats of violence.  Karl Rove couldn’t have done it any better.

Problem is, Revolution Muslim was started and run by a “converted” Israeli settler who studied at an orthodox rabbinical school in Israel before becoming a settler in the occupied territories.

You don’t think a orthadox Israeli settler would have any desire to see progressive Americans start to hate “radical Muslims” do you? You think “Revolution Muslim” helps or hurts the Israeli PR campaign after Operation Cast Lead and the Goldstone Report?

Here’s the research your team should have done before you went out and spun-up the neoconish “radicalized Muslim” hype for your progressive audience…

“Revolution Muslim” is always there to say just the wrong thing to make Americans hate “Radical Muslims”.  They praised the killing of Daniel Pearl with a childish puppet show.  They sent “Get Well” wishes to the guy who shot those 13 people at Fort Hood.

Yousef al-Khattab, 41, a radical Muslim in the borough of Queens who runs, claims on the site that the soldiers massacred at the Texas base deserved to be massacred, and he insists the victims are in “eternal hellfire.” As for the suspected gunman — Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan — Al-Khattab hails him as a hero.  Fox News

You can count on “Revolution Muslim” to say the wrong thing at the right moment to get Americans to hate all those “radical” Muslims.

Israeli Settlers in Hebron

But the only thing is… “Revolution Muslim” (his creative fake “Scary American Terrorist” website) was started and ran by a man named Yousef al-Khattab. Yousef al-Khattab was born Joseph Cohen, in Brooklyn, New York. He was jewish. But not just jewish, he was a settler who went to Palestine to live on the illegal Israeli settlements.

Joseph Cohen isn’t alone though. There is another “radical Muslim” convert from Judaism (the original fake “scary American Terrorist“) who makes sure that “radical” Muslims are hated in America, his name is Adam Pearlman and he went by the “radicalized” Muslim name “Adam Gadahn“.  Adam Pearlman is actually the grandson of a member of the board of directors of the Anti-Defamation League (at least he was on the board… Dr. Carl Pearlman died in 1998).

Gadahn grew up on a goat farm in rural Riverside County and moved to Santa Ana to live with his grandparents, the late Dr. Carl Pearlman and his wife, Agnes, in the mid-1990s. It was here that he learned of Islam via the Internet and later fell in with a radical sect at the Islamic Society of Orange County  OC Register

And the funny thing is, after all that hate speech and those calls to violence, Cohen never got arrested. Hell, even Fox News knew exactly where he was. Guns, death threats, and all the rest and amazingly Yousef al-Khattab (Joseph Cohen) was never arrested.

A New York City bicycle cabbie who mocked the murder of journalist Daniel Pearl and posted a prayer on the Web calling for the murder of Jews is now sending a ‘Get Well Soon’ message to the suspected Fort Hood gunman, the New York Post reported.

After growing up in a jewish neighborhood in New York and attending a orthodox rabbinical school in Israel, Joseph Cohen went to live in a settlement in the West Bank to help steal Palestinian land from Palestinians.

His story is that he “converted” to Islam after meeting someone in a chat room. You know what “settlers” are like in the occupied territories don’t you Mr. Stewart? Ever see that video of them beating the old Palestinian woman with a baseball bat?

Ever see that video Mr. Stewart?  If not, take a look here. This video was released by B’Tselem (an Israeli peace organization).

al-Khattab has claimed that he has nothing to do with the site anymore but the person he founded it with left prior to all of this earlier this month. al-Khattab claims to have quit the site in late Dec. last year. His partner who started it with him also claims to have quit the site earlier this month. I guess no one wanted to go to jail for issuing death-threats over the internet.  But someone did it.

I find it funny that after being born and raised as a jewish person, after attending orthodox rabbinical school in Israel, and after being radical enough to move to occupied territories in Palestine to live as a settler (the most hard-core of Israeli Zionists), ALL OF A SUDDEN Joseph Cohen dropped all of that teaching and suddenly became a “radical Muslim’ after a chat in a chat room. He became a “radical Muslim” then just HAPPENED to move back to the city he lived in before… Brooklyn, N.Y.

Anybody believe that shit? Jon Stewart does. So much so he mocks “radical Muslims” for threatening South Park.

Now, go here and watch Jon Stewart joke and make derogatory comments about the group that threatened the creators of South Park for showing the image of Muhammad on their recent show. Then he thanks all the “other” religions for not behaving like the “Radical Muslims” did when Stewart makes fun of their religion. He then shows clip after clip showing how they have made fun of Jewish people without anyone threatening violence.

Radical Muslim is a COINTELPRO site, run by a “converted” jewish settler pretending to be a “radical Muslim”. He is the ONE Muslim that complained about the South Park episode… an ex-radical Israeli settler, Mr. Stewart… real Muslims haven’t threatened South Park once since 2001 when they FIRST ran an image of the prophet on their show.

Do you understand that Mr. Stewart? You don’t find it ODD that the ONE Muslim group to threaten South Park just HAPPENED to have been created and run by a rabid ex-Israeli settler?

You think MAYBE a radical ex-Israeli settler would have any REASON to provide the media with an EXCUSE to demonize Muslims, Mr. Stewart? Just like you did on your show?

Do you have half a fucking brain? So stop your anti-Muslim propaganda you stupid piece of shit. Think before you report. Or maybe, just maybe, you and your overpaid staff could do a little RESEARCH before you broadcast such obvious bullshit, you fucking asshole.

Go fuck yourself.

  1. THIS is a great story, and I couldn’t agree with you more on your points here! Seriously, I just bookmarked this story. Just to tweak a bit though, you KNOW the “tea party” crowd would disagree with you about this one. Ive already seen many of them praising South Park for “taking on the muslims” yet again, as well as praising Jon Stewart for his little song.

  2. Maybe you could use a little common sense before writing your obvious bullshit, because you are clearly lacking in the field. This was a DEATH THREAT issued against Trey and Matt, and could essentially target his life as well. Instead of being a pretentious dipshit you should put yourself in his shoes. I hate Jon Stewart, but at least I don’t talk out of my own ass about the guy like you do. Next time find a valid point. Take your own advice and do some real fucking research.

Fuck you, Scott Creighton, fuck everyone like you that thinks they’re right because they need to hide behind their keyboard. People like you make me happy there’s no cure for cancer yet, so good luck getting it, moron.

  3. I guess that the irony is lost on the previous commentor who’s typing away anonymously on their keyboard without making a valid point as far as I can tell.

And just for the record, there is a cure for cancer but even if your doctor knows about it, they will never tell you about it because it doesn’t involve expensive surgery or prescription drugs. The only thing that they could charge you for is their time but they will have lost the power of their snake-oil scam and started putting themselves out of business.

Don’t believe me? Tough! Looks like you’ll have to start doing some real research.

@Scott Creighton – Please keep up the good work!

    • Oh, Yes. all the doctors and governors are all out to get our money. our “money” that would’nt even exist if it we’rent for the govn’t. treasury. here’s a joke for you:

chief of medicine at a renouned hospital: This is bad, mack, I can’t find anybody to hire in a whole pile of resumes.

Mack: Why Not? What’s the Problem?

Chief: Instead of Ivy league grads and straight A for life students, it’s just a bunch of hippies whom barely got through community college.

Mack: What’s wrong with that? They usually work just as hard!!!!

Chief: Because they walk away too when I tell them they only get a four figure salary.

Doctors are paid well for a reason, jackass. It’s too sad to be a joke, because with “social healthcare” kicking in, it’s becoming a reality.

      • “social healthcare”? Is that what they call mandates to purchase insurance from private companies these days? And let’s straighten this out… the assault on doctors started long before your “social healthcare”… it started when the hospital chains starting bringing in doctors from across the globe because they were cheaper and thus could drive down the value. Happens in every other profession, so why not the medical profession? You think these globalists have any allegiance to doctors or nurses?

    • 🙂
      well said, John Jasper !

  4. Thanks John.

I haven’t been receiving the death threats like I used to under the old Bush Regime days. Ah, that brings back memories. I was starting to think I wasn’t doing something right, but along comes this guy to reaffirm my committment to the cause.

I love a good death threat in the morning… smells like… victory.

  5. someone put up a picture of my god with a bomb in his hat… now I am offended..

  6. Good article , Willy

not too sure about that ‘monster’ picture though….. looks like an octopus to me….. who would put a bomb on the poor little thing? Or maybe I don’t understand what ‘it’ is…. =)

  7. Yeah man fuck that Jon Stewart guy my point doesn’t really even relate to him but fuck him anway

  8. Seriously? A 911 truther, a believer in the NWO and a apologist for religion? Awesome – you have the retard trifecta going.

And me wasting bandwidth on this comment is *almost* as retarded.

  9. It’s Deat “Threats”…..plural….. meaning more than one. It’s not just one radical muslim. John Stewart is no better than beck? You’re no better than beck. I’m sorry Scott but …. “Go……… Fuck………. Yourself…………”

  10. So what Stewart said was anybody who threatens the life of another for religious or political reasons go fuck yourselves.

I fail to see why you are so butt hurt over this concept.

being angry at Joseph Cohen is understandable for making these threats due to his beliefs regardless. Even more so if he is trying to trick people over what his faith is. But lambasting Stewart over this is simply a mistake. Your anger with Joseph Cohen should be directed at Joseph Cohen.

  11. Eric;

Joseph Cohen is an ex-Israeli settler who lived in Palestine. They are not like other jewish people (who are pretty much like everyone else).

Settlers are usually extremely radical zionist who don’t like Palestinians at all.

In fact, they do horrible things to them. Youtube it if you don’t believe me.

Now, we have Cohen, pretending to be a “radical” Muslim who never misses an opportunity to say just the right thing at the right time to make Americans hate Muslims.

Do you see how someone looking at that might KINDA think that if Cohen was just PRETENDING to be a radical Muslim… it would KINDA fit his previous life?

It certainly wouldn’t do an Israeli settler any HARM to get Americans to hate “radical” Muslims, now would it?

And that is exactly what he is doing.

  12. and just to answer you last statement Eric….

Jon Stewart should know better. He has the resources and the time and certainly the staff…

    much more than I do…

If I can figure out its just propaganda and get paid nothing and influence few if any… Steward certainly could have done his homework and should have done his homework.

I’m tired of living in a country where everyone just says… “opps. my bad” after the damage is already done.

now we got all our liberals and progressives running around saying “those damn radical Muslims” just like the conservatives and neocons did back in 2003…

  13. You’re getting mad at Jon Stewart for reporting on the death threats to his co-workers. But we apparently forgot that Comedy Central was the one who censored the episode and not Jon Stewart.

So you, who ever the fuck your name is because I don’t feel like wasting my time and scrolling up, go fuck yourself.

  14. no. I am mad at Jon Stewart for promoting obvious propaganda…

  15. I read writechic’s post today regarding this and I found some discrepancies. She pointed out that you were discussing the wrong name (instead of Revolution Muslim) but then edited it and the post.

The difference I pointed out and don’t understand is that she claims the site is run by Younus Abdullah Muhammad, yet you list Yousef al-Khattab.

    What am I missing?

  16. BeulahMan, you missed reading the article…
those two men were partners… they ran the site together… Yousef is Cohen or was….
no one seems to be running the site now… ?

at least that is what I understand.

For all you Stewart lovers, GET OVER IT !!!!

  17. Hi Buelahman

Yeah, I have been working on it for hours and I probably should have waited to post it till I was done.

I saw the Stewart video and got pissed that he was playing up the “radical” Muslims propaganda.

I could very easily have put “Radical Muslim” in for “Revolution Muslim” when I refered to the site, but I am constantly playing off of the “radicalized Muslim” jargon, so I did probably do that.

I think I also tried to explain that the site was founded and run by Joseph Cohen under his assumed name, Yousef al-Khattab AND his partner who founded it with him (I think) Abdullah al-Amin.

Both claim to have left the site prior to the South Park death threats, but I don’t find that too odd since issueing death threats over the internet is illegal and it would have landed them in jail.

  18. The wiki link helps, thanks. But I still don’t understand writechic’s name claim (Younus Abdullah Muhammad) unless Abdullah al-Amin is one and the same.

Its hard to follow the name changes (and name meanings).

  19. A quick Google search provided this which confounds me as to who al-Khattab is or how he is related to the controversy.

    Im dense like that.

  20. she mentions a guy named Younus Abdullah Muhammad who is supposed to have taken over the site, but he is in Indonesia (so it’s kinda hard to hold him accountable so that may be the “official story”)

Younus Abdullah Muhammad also seems to be in the habit of making horribly bad timed statements that will ensure the American people just HATE “radical” Muslims.

Take for instance the election of Obama.

He was out in front of every camera he could find yelling “to hell with democracy to hell with Obama”…

think that statement might have made a few liberals sore at “radical” Muslims?

  21. buelahman

“The group of 5-10 members devoted to Abdullah el-Faisal was run by Yousef al-Khattab, born Joseph Cohen, an American Jew who converted to Islam in 2000 after living in Israel and attending an orthodox rabbinical school there, then returned to New York”

“In addition to their website, the group distributes anti-Israeli literature outside of a mosques” Wiki

its a typical phishing organization, looking to find Muslims they can talk into “terrorist acts” then they get the FBI and the DHS involved for the sting.

    please wach this video…

  22. Hey, jackass … you know I’d be willing to consider your perspective if it wasn’t pure fucking fact that radical muslims have not only threatened the lives of many many people for depicting big Mo, but that they have also followed through with their threats on multiple occasions. I could give two shits if you think that last one was a fucking faker. Let’s pretend for a moment that your claims are true (along with the 9/11 conspiracy :x)… why is it that everyone is so easily fooled into thinking that this is something a radical muslim would do? Why the fuck are you talking shit about the daily show? Their point still makes all of the sense in the world. It sounds to me like you’re just a fucked up anti-semite.

    Go fuck yourself.

  23. Ah, there it is. The anti-semite claim. Didn’t take too long to get one of those.

Just the other day I was being berated by a reader that I must be some kind of Mossad agent because I didn’t write about how “the jews” were responsible for 9/11 AND the economic collapse…

    Can’t win for losing…

Now, according to your theory, those “radical Muslims” are out there threatening all kinds of people with death and such for depicting an image of Muhammad.

But the facts don’t really follow if Comedy Central had their “Super best Friends” episode up for years and years on their website and they didn’t get so much as a nasty comment.

So how do you explain that? Muslims don’t mind South Park showing the image of Muhhamad for years and years and then, all of a sudden, they want to kill Matt and Trey … for showing the image of Muhhamad?

Sorry. Don’t buy it. Too much of a coincidence when all the out-front “radical” Muslims who are making these threats just happen to be converted Israeli settlers.

And as I said in an earlier comment, I am mad with Jon Stewart because he certainly has the resources to have done a little research on this propaganda BEFORE he went to air reinforcing the Karl Rove, neocon “radical Muslims in our Midst” crap.

    got it?

  24. … and as far as 9/11 is concerned….

You read The 9/11 Commission Report, the NIST Report on the Twin Towers, the NIST report on Building 7, the RJ Lee Report, and research the subject for about 4years straight and then come back and let me know what you think. Ok?

till then I’ll stick with what I know…

  25. and one more thing, just for the record…

all that violence you talk about radical Muslims targeting people who depict Muhammad…

that Danish cartoonist was ONE OF TWELVE cartoonists who drew a depiction of Muhammad. The one guy of the 12 seems to have been targeted because his cartoon showed the prophet with a bomb in his turban.

“Westergaard had been one of 12 artists who agreed to the commission for Jyllands-Posten, but his drawing of a bearded man with a bomb in his turban became the most famous – or notorious.”

    The rest were NOT attacked.

Now, that doesn’t make it all right, but that does go a long way to shoot holes in the “the radical Muslims will kill you for depicting Muhammad” theory, now doesn’t it?

    One out of twelve…

  26. Thank you so much…. This world needs more people like you!

  27. Wow Scott… the irony here is absolutely astounding. You do realize John Stewart was speaking out against ANYONE who would threaten a life over political/religious views, not just Muslim extremists, the way your article seems to allude.

As such, you yourself are just as guilty of Glenn Beck style reporting. Learn the facts before you post stupid shit on the web, it’s bad enough as it is.

For your convenience since you’re obviously a lazy twat, here is a direct link to the broadcast you speak of.

The first indicator should be THE DESCRIPTION OF THE CLIP. Does it mention Muslims? Islam? No you dumb twat.

“Or maybe, just maybe, you and your overpaid staff could do a little RESEARCH before you broadcast such obvious bullshit, you fucking asshole.

    Go fuck yourself.”

I will hand it to you though, your advice is solid. Now if only you’d follow it yourself.

  28. It’s all part of the PSYOPs plan to get the the so-called “progressives” and “Liberals” mentally conditioned to accept an invasion of Iran which will further the Zionist agenda. It is clear that Jon Stewart adheres to Zionist philosophies and that is why he allowed his show to spread Zionist propaganda.

  29. Eric,

It wasn’t Scott who sat on that stage and used the words Revolution Muslim, was it?

Was it Scott or Jon who also used the image of 911 and scary Muslims was it? Was it Scott that found out who the founder was of the group and the Israeli connection?

Oh yes, it was Scott that did this.

Jon is fulfilling his role in the play to keep you a stupid fucker. He does well.

  30. I agree with Deadbeat and BeulahMan…. they said it for me….and they said it much better than I could…

  31. All blame falls on Cohen and his likes…end of story!

  32. What Cohen did, he did in order to create a mood of intolerance in a certain segment of society.

But without the participation of the complicit media, Cohen’s actions would be meaningless.

So no, it is not JUST Cohen who is to blame.

  33. He’s a fucking COMEDIAN! What in your twisted little mind makes you think that he is reporting real news? It’s a fucking comedy show, take it for what it is. Holy Fuck, get a sense of humor.

  34. If any of this true then it is supremely damning. As an Arab, I was wondering why the brouhaha came about now when the prophet has been on South Park for so long.
Perhaps the question is how true these allegations are.

  35. excellent post …

when it comes right down to it though, Stewart always sides with the lobby … so this latest chapter just seems to be a more blatant farce on his part … hopefully the people who are not simply like-minded apologists, will take notice from this … if they’re made aware … & THANKS for doing your part,
    ‘grats … !

  36. You just might have been persuasive if you weren’t such a douche.

  37. You are a terd, his show was funny, and they deserved to be made fun of, and oh and dont get your panties in a twist there my good fellow, life’s to short you’ll give yourself a hernia

  38. Wow, that is amazing stuff for sure.

  39. […] The “Radical” Muslim Group That Threatened South Park Creators Was Founded and Run by J… by Scott Creighton   Jon Stewart, go fuck yourself. You’re a propaganda spewing puppet and you’re no […] […]

  40. Even if all of this is true, and I have no reason to doubt it, that still doesn’t mean that Jon Stewart could have had anything to do with it. So, why call HIM out? My first reaction was no different from his.

  41. Yuks writes,

“A 911 truther, a believer in the NWO and a apologist for religion? Awesome – you have the retard trifecta going.”

People who appear on blogs to call names from behind their computer must have a very cool life going for themselves LOL.
I think it’s instructive to see how furious some persons feel towards those who do not march in lockstep with what their tv tells them.

  42. Lol. There are some pretty angry Jews in this comment thread.

The beans have been spilled and all they can do is throw epithets, smear, and try to misdirect and obscure.

  43. Doctor, Doctor help me please, I know you’ll understand
    There’s a time device inside of me, I’m a self-destructin’ man
There’s a red, under my bed
And there’s a little green man in my head
And he said, “you’re not goin’ crazy, you’re just a bit sad
‘Cause there’s a man in ya, gnawin’ ya, tearin’ ya into two.”

    Silly boy ya’ self-destroyer.
    Paranoia, the destroyer

    Self-destroyer, wreck your health
    Destroy friends, destroy yourself
    The time device of self-destruction
Light the fuse and start eruption

  44. don’t worry Matt B, you haven’t got to be afraid…

Daddy Bush and Poppa ‘Bama will protect you from all those big scary eviiiiiilllllll Muslims…

all you gotta do, is roll over, play dead, give up a little freedom… not much…. and go back to sleep…

    Sleepy tight…
    and Goodnight…

    (ah, you get the picture)

  45. Hook, troll yourself elsewhere.

  46. So I guess what you are saying is that no Muslims anywhere have ever freaked out over the image Muhammad being ridiculed? Come on guy.

What if this guy was once a radical Jew. So he’s switched sides to be a radical Muslim now. Maybe he’s just an asshole by nature, and this isn’t some sort of conspiracy.

But conspiracy or not, Muslims have reacted very badly before, and it’s time they grew the fuck up. And yeah, that goes for everybody, including (and especially) Americans and Israeli.

  47. layer on layer…..everything is f”d up, question everyone….what a world we live in…..i will go pull weeds in my garden…peace

  48. Damm,,,,this was confusing. You still alive Willy??.

  49. This is not about whether or not Muslims or Jews or Christians or people who worship the Flying Spagetti Monster have behaved badly once in a while in the past.

This is about the specifics of this case, which don’t add up?

Look at the history of “Revolution Muslim”. They NEVER miss an opportunity to say the wrong thing at the wrong time… and it ALWAYS pisses people off… ALWAYS makes people hate them.

You can’t possibly think that is an accident?

Is it so easy to believe that a “radical Muslim” could be SOOO hateful and hurtful, just for the sake of doing it?

And if you don’t think it’s relevent, think about Israel’s PR right now as far as Operation Cast Lead is concerned? Think about the need to gin up anger toward Iran or the “radical Muslims” in East Jeruselem…

This isn’t about who is right and who is wrong in the world view… it’s about this very specific case and its about the fact that it is entirely based on a group of converted “Muslims” running around doing everything they can to be the absolute WORST Muslims they can be and the stereotypical “Islamofascist: straight out of Karl Rove’s propaganda handbook.

I don’t buy it. and neither should you.

  50. “Ah, there it is. The anti-semite claim. Didn’t take too long to get one of those.”

You know why? Because you sound like a fucking anti-semite. I mean, you make all encompassing statements like:

“You know what “settlers” are like in the occupied territories don’t you Mr. Stewart?”

Seriously, how else am I to take your article when you are attacking a Jew by claiming that he didn’t do enough research based on the idea that you perceive a certain segment of Jews as so hard-core that they couldn’t possibly have converted to Islam because they, apparently, all beat up Palestinians. Now don’t get me wrong, I think the Israelis are wrong with their stance on Palestine, but you’re taking this shit too fucking far. If you can’t objectively look at what you’ve written and see how a normal human being can perceive you as an anti-semite then you’re fucking bonkers. Get real.

“Just the other day I was being berated by a reader that I must be some kind of Mossad agent because I didn’t write about how “the jews” were responsible for 9/11 AND the economic collapse…”

First of all, I don’t give a shit. Second of all, you don’t have to blame everything in the world on Jews to be an anti-semite. This proves only that there are loonies more crazy than you out there. Ironically, you bring up a good example of how silly your claims are. This about it – the jackass you quoted is basically saying the same dumb as shit thing you are. ‘You’re saying something I disagree with, so you must be playing for the other team.’ This is just like, ‘the Radical Muslim group is saying crazy ass shit, so they can’t be real muslims.’ Note, I am purposely leaving out your argument from incredulity because it’s fucking stupid.

“Now, according to your theory, those “radical Muslims” are out there threatening all kinds of people with death and such for depicting an image of Muhammad.

But the facts don’t really follow if Comedy Central had their “Super best Friends” episode up for years and years on their website and they didn’t get so much as a nasty comment.

So how do you explain that? Muslims don’t mind South Park showing the image of Muhhamad for years and years and then, all of a sudden, they want to kill Matt and Trey … for showing the image of Muhhamad?”

Yes, my theory is that there are radical Muslims out there making threats for all kinds of people that depict big Mo. Where in that ‘theory’ (which is born out by the factual evidence) does it say that every single depiction of Big Mo must result in death threats immediately? It doesn’t, nor does it matter that not all unholy depictions of Mo are followed by death threats. I don’t pretend to understand why sometimes a cartoonist is targeted while others are left alone, nor do I give a shit. The facts are clear – if you draw Mo, you might just receive death threats; furthermore – sometimes the people that receive such threats actually get fucking killed. If you are trying to refute my general point that it’s not unreasonable to believe that a threat from a purported islamic group is the result of those muslims being fundy fucks, then you need to tell me why that would be absurd ie why I should not consider the recent history of such threats relevant and prescient.

“And as I said in an earlier comment, I am mad with Jon Stewart because he certainly has the resources to have done a little research on this propaganda BEFORE he went to air reinforcing the Karl Rove, neocon “radical Muslims in our Midst” crap.

    got it?”

In other words – you’re mad at Jon Stewart for not believing the “radical muslims” are what they claim to be? In other words, you’re mad at Jon Stewart for not believing in your crack-pot conspiracy theories? You’re a fucking wacko – got it?

“… and as far as 9/11 is concerned….

You read The 9/11 Commission Report, the NIST Report on the Twin Towers, the NIST report on Building 7, the RJ Lee Report, and research the subject for about 4years straight and then come back and let me know what you think. Ok?

till then I’ll stick with what I know…”

Buddy, I’m not going to argue lunacy with a lunatic. I’ve done my bit of reading on 9/11. I’m a trained engineer, and I don’t think there’s any reason to believe in this conspiracy. You can try and claim that you know more than I do all you want – that’s not an argument; it’s an assertion. I suppose the silver lining of 9/11 is that it gives fucking douchebags like yourself something to waste “4years straight” researching, so that you’re not out doing something more harmful to the world.

“Now, that doesn’t make it all right, but that does go a long way to shoot holes in the “the radical Muslims will kill you for depicting Muhammad” theory, now doesn’t it?”

No – you fucking idiot – you’ve provided evidence in support of what I said. A cartoonist drew Mo, he received threats and was fucking attacked. Are you serious? If this is the level of logic you used to come to your mentally retarded conclusions regarding 9/11 then I guess everything makes perfect goddamned sense. You’re just a fucking idiot.

I say again – Go Fuck Yourself.

  51. I never mentioned Mr. Stewart’s religious beliefs. I didn’t figure they factored into the equation.

  52. You don’t have to mention that Jon Stewart is a Jew for it to factor into the equation jackass. My point is obvious – you’re attacking a jew based on ridiculous generalizations about jews in general. Answer me this: can you see how someone might consider that to be indicative of an anti-semite?

  53. It takes a certain kind of mentality to move into another nation, to take another person’s home, to live everyday under the protection of soldiers, all based on a religious belief system that says …

“God says this is my land, so I am taking it”

to me that is pretty fanatical in itself. Unless of course that person is a child who had no choice but to move there…

But Cohen didn’t move there as a child, did he?

He went to orthadox rabinical school, THEN he moved there…

so I think it is fair to say he qualifies….

  54. The only person here making an issue out of Jon Stewart’s religion, is you J-Goods.

  55. “My point is obvious – you’re attacking a jew based on ridiculous generalizations about jews in general. Answer me this: can you see how someone might consider that to be indicative of an anti-semite?”

first of all, I am not attacking a Jew, I am attacking a lazy news anchor who should have done his homework…

second, I want you to see something…

I just took a screenshot of my current desktop… I posted it on the ABOUT WILLY page up top so I could link you to the image…

    take a look

  56. I’m not an anti-semite and I would appriciate it if you would restrict the ad hominems to a less offensive subject.

  57. “It takes a certain kind of mentality to move into another nation, to take another person’s home, to live everyday under the protection of soldiers, all based on a religious belief system … ”

Sure, you’re describing a fanatic. Is it unreasonable to think that a religious fanatic that switches religions will remain a fanatic? What’s the ACTUAL basis for your belief that these guys didn’t convert? If it rests solely on your incredulity, then my point is well made. Guess what – people convert, and crazy people do crazy things. Am I to believe that anyone who is a member of the Westboro baptists that used to be less fundamentalist in their views or, God forbid, from some other Abrahamic religion in the past is some sort of covert mole saying “God hates fags” in order to make the Christians look (more) crazy?

Dude, take an objective look at your argument. Tell me how it makes logical sense? Think about what it’s based upon! You just don’t trust Jewish people, and you distrust Jews that have lived in Israel more than others, and further you mistrust Jews that went to Rabbinical school. You’re a fucking anti-semite clear as day.

My accusation of anti-semitism makes the fact that Jon Stewart is a Jew relevant. Why direct your ridiculous outrage at Jon Stewart? Tons of news outlets carried this story, yet you single out a Jew. Coincidence? How does it feel to fall victim to the “coincidence” argument you rely so heavily upon?

  58. “I just took a screenshot of my current desktop… I posted it on the ABOUT WILLY page up top so I could link you to the image…”

LOL! I don’t give a fuck what your desktop image is! You must live in lala land to even think that matters one fucking iota. How the hell does that prove a goddamned thing? Why should I not take a page out of your book and claim (based on incredulity) that you’re merely posting that image to cover for your true intentions? GMAFB!

“first of all, I am not attacking a Jew, I am attacking a lazy news anchor who should have done his homework… ”

He’s runs a fucking comedy show! He attacked all religious fundies! What would you say if you knew that Jon Stewart had, in fact, heard all of the “facts” you’ve written in your article, but simply chose not to take the batshit insane POV that two members of the “radical muslims” are actually israeli moles out to make islam look bad? Again – you’re actually mad not because Jon Stewart is “lazy,” but because he disagrees with your take on the “radical muslims.” Why aren’t you attacking everyone else in the world that disagrees with your insane assertions? Why choose to attack a fucking comedy show? Why not go after a real news anchor?

“I’m not an anti-semite and I would appriciate it if you would restrict the ad hominems to a less offensive subject.”

I believe that you are, so go fuck yourself.

  59. @john

The media has “DEPICTED” Muslims acting badly before. You have been a good citizen and swallowed it hook line and sinker.

What are your comments about the Austrian cartoon depicting (as the catholic church claims) a priest giving Jesus a blowjob? The catholics are not behaving well and are talking about suing the editor and the artist. How about the editor that got jailed for a year in the ’70s in England when he published a poem about Jesus having sex with his cell guard? It was a gay magazine, and the christians behaved very badly bringing out an old law called “Blasphemous Libel”. Were the christians being unreasonable and threatening? Were they acting on their threats?

These are just two of dozens of cases where your media has not kept you up to date… in fact they have refused to tell you about them at all, because modern media has nothing to do with truth or facts, it is nothing more than a propaganda machine that tries to convert enough sheep to the current authorities ideas as possible.

Now please consider, just how even tempered your average Muslim has to be when they see America fight a crusade against Muslims. Killing a million civillians or more in a decade. Raping Muslim women at gunpoint. Stealing the resources of the Muslim nations. If the roles were reversed, just how even tempered would your average christian be?

Ad here we have a comedian with obvious Zionist undertones pushing a Zionist agenda under the a thin disguise of humour… and you (and others) are eating it up.

  60. I have already provided even more logical evidence…

including possible CIA connections, more info on the “converted” Muslims of Revolution Muslim, and the history of antagonism designed to paint the group as “islamofascists”…

plenty of evidence if you care to look.

  61. that’s a good point Bunny.

You know, as I was researching this matter more this afternoon, I went to Fox sites and progressive sites and Muslim sites alike, and you know what I found?

I found all kinds of threats of violence, specific ones, directed at “radical Muslims” for attempting to thwart our “freedoms”….

and on Muslim sites, you know what I mainly found? People laughing at us because we would be dumb enough to believe in this day and age that any terroists or “extremist” would put themselves on line and their plans online so they can be arrested and sent to Gitmo or Bagram….

when you think about it, it is pretty funny…

  62. “Why choose to attack a fucking comedy show? Why not go after a real news anchor?”

you really need to stop thinking I am an idiot…

this is from the New York Times in 2008

“Is Jon Stewart the Most Trusted Man in America?”

“Most important, at a time when Fox, MSNBC and CNN routinely mix news and entertainment, larding their 24-hour schedules with bloviation fests and marathon coverage of sexual predators and dead celebrities, it’s been “The Daily Show” that has tenaciously tracked big, “super depressing” issues like the cherry-picking of prewar intelligence, the politicization of the Department of Justice and the efforts of the Bush White House to augment its executive power.

For that matter, the Comedy Central program — which is not above using silly sight gags and sophomoric sex jokes to get a laugh — has earned a devoted following that regards the broadcast as both the smartest, funniest show on television and a provocative and substantive source of news.”

  63. “that’s a good point Bunny. ”

    Which point? This one?

“Ad here we have a comedian with obvious Zionist undertones pushing a Zionist agenda under the a thin disguise of humour… and you (and others) are eating it up.”

It appears that there are more people here making a deal out of Jon’s religion than just myself Willy … unless Bunny is here posting these remarks to make your audience and the people that agree with you look like anti-semitic ass hats. Coincidence?

“I have already provided even more logical evidence…”

If by ‘logical’ you mean ‘circumstantial and barely relevant’ then I’d agree. Your “evidence” is weaker than a midget with muscular dystrophy.

  64. well if you consider the fact that the latest of the Revolution Muslim’s “scary Islamofascist” Muslim just HAPPENED to have called into Fox News from the same county as the CIA’s main building in Fairfax country Virginia…. if you consider that barely relevant, then, there you go… to each his own.

question is, if it means so little too you, why are you still here?

  65. J-Goods, are you saying that no one should question Stewart because he is Jewish? Wouldn’t that sort of be an insult to Stewart?
Sounds like you are the one who has a problem; the fact that Stewart is Jewish (I am taking your word for it) seems to be a bother to only you.

  66. “you really need to stop thinking I am an idiot…”

I just can’t help it buddy. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck ….

It seems that now you’re making arguments that sound a lot like Bill O’Reilly trying to convince Jon Stewart while interviewing him that his show is on par with shows that claim to be news broadcasts. I don’t give a shit that you seem to think that because Jon Stewart’s show is beloved that it should be held to a higher standard than ACTUAL NEWS SHOWS. I ask again: why go after a comedy show instead of an actual news broadcast? They all have audiences, they all have a following, they are all influential. Why The Daily Show?

  67. “J-Goods, are you saying that no one should question Stewart because he is Jewish?”

Jan, I didn’t say that at all. Please take the time to actually read AND understand my point of view before further making an ass of yourself.

“Wouldn’t that sort of be an insult to Stewart?”

“Sounds like you are the one who has a problem; the fact that Stewart is Jewish (I am taking your word for it) seems to be a bother to only you.”

It sounds like Bunny takes issue with Jon’s “Zionist undertones” as well. Further, I’m claiming that willy has an issue with Jon’s religion – and I’m backing it up using the same silly tactics that are used in this ridiculous article of his. If you can show that my tactics are poor, then you’re also showing that this article is in the same sense poorly argued.

    Think. About. It.

  68. “Do you have half a fucking brain? So stop your anti-Muslim propaganda you stupid piece of shit. Think before you report. Or maybe, just maybe, you and your overpaid staff could do a little RESEARCH”

You made some valid points in the article, but lost me on your last paragraph. Maybe one day, you’ll know why.

  69. You know what J-Goods, I am not going to let you derail this thread anymore by trying to bait people into something you can call anti-semitism.

its the most pathetic and baseless argument you can make. The man (Cohen) is what he is.

if you are so willing to believe he is a terrorist who just happens to threaten people and put his address on the internet for the CIA to find, then you go ahead and believe that,

but you will not continue to insult and bait my readers anymore. I spoke with you reasonably giving you the benefit of the doubt, and now I am tired of hearing your broken record and watching you spew your venom on other commenters….

  70. J-Goods, your rantings are not difficult to understand; your name-calling speaks loudly about your intent, which is trolling ….. you are not even very good at it.
You don’t seem to comprehend what you read either.

  71. I understand your point, lovtocuss, but we are talking about continuing with a ‘islamofascist” stereotype at a time when the current administration is poised for war with Iran…. so I get a little miffed about such things, especially when they come from someone with as much credit as Jon Stewart has with the only real antiwar group left in this country…

and if you think that is bad, you should read what I wrote when Dennis Kucinich switched his vote on the insurance bailout bill…. now that was rough language….

  72. but you miss another part of the point, and that is the last minute of Jon Stewart’s Revolution Muslim segment where he sang and danced with a choir behind him…

    “Go fuck yourselves!”
    “Go fuck yourselves!”

  73. Why single out Jon Stewart for this? Seriously, all he did was deliver a diatribe against the guy who was making death threats. If your hypothesis of a false flag operation is correct, that’d be an interesting plot twist but I fail to see why Jon should be attacked for not knowing what nobody else knew either.

And there was nothing anti-Muslim in the whole segment. It’s a comedy show. He took a current event and made jokes about it, like he always does.

  74. Nice photo of Israeli kids moking a woman. Really very nice of them, products of “the only democracy in the Middle East”, run with apartheid principles. Well done.

  75. I dont know why this article focuses on john stewart so much…. if you watch that daily show episode… the MAIN point he was trying to make was this: if you are sending death threats out in the name of religion/ politics than your an idiot…

I dont think its the daily shows writers fault for not looking into the complete story… i mean no other real news show had either!

  76. I think you fail to understand that Jon Stewart is a COMEDIAN. You can’t compare him to Glenn Beck, they’re completely different people.

  77. J Goods seams desperate.

  78. […] I posted an angry rant directed at “liberal” Jon Stewart for his “Go Fuck Yourselves” segment which was nothing […]

  79. I saw a comment where Tea Party Movement folks were painted with a broad brush. Tea Party Movement folks are, for the most part, truth seekers and tellers – a significant number of us are anti – illegal, immoral, unnecessary, unconstitutional war(s).

Many folks, not just us in the Tea Party Movement, will have to forgive themselves for their immediate reaction to these contrived events which came along in time to shut down interest in what’s happened with Spc. Marc A. Hall and with Lt. Col. Terry Lakin as well as the WikiLeaks video (to name a few).

Thanks for this excellent post/information. There is an attack on free speech going on right now and one of the “reasons” for this psy op is to make us beg to have more freedoms taken from us. Instead, it should strengthen our resolves to gain back all freedoms taken from us and to make sure they’re never taken again.

  80. J Goods is working the troll dance very hard, boys and girls. Have you done a courtesy IP check to see which of these assholes he is fighting for?

PPL aren’t really that fucking dense, are they? In real life?

  81. FYI: Glen Beck and Jon Stewart have the same relationship with We The People as Truman’s mother, wife and best friend had with him in the Truman Show movie.

  82. “Do you understand that Mr. Stewart? You don’t find it ODD that the ONE Muslim group to threaten South Park just HAPPENED to have been created and run by a rabid ex-Israeli settler?”

Do you understand that John Stewart SINGLED OUT that ONE group in his response? Regardless of the true motivation for Revolution Muslim, you can’t possibly say that John Stewart was trying to portray all Muslims to be like Revolution Muslim.

Do you not understand the point of the Aasif Mandvi section? I watched the segment several times again, and I completely disagree that this represents any form of anti-Muslim propaganda. In fact it is quite the opposite: Aasif Mandvi, the “Senior Islamic Correspondent” (I know the title here is a joke, but still my point is valid) says at 7:40 in the clip: “But here’s what’s more upsetting: someone in the name of a faith that I believe [Islam] is threatening another person for doing it [depicting Mohammad].” The clear and obvious message here PRESENTED BY THE DAILY SHOW is that Revolution Muslim does not represent all Muslim groups.

Fucking come on, the THEME of the previous “Go fuck yourself” comment was complaining that Fox News generalizes groups of people. John Stewart was definitely NOT a hypocrite here; he was criticizing only Revolution Muslim and not even any other radical Muslim groups.

If you watch John’s concluding statement (right before breaking out the Gospel Choir) you will also notice that John clearly states that “hatred and intolerance” is the enemy and NOT the people or groups. He in fact describes the PEOPLE as merely people to disagree with or “worthy adversaries in debate.”

So to you sir Scott Creighton, I say GO FUCK YOURSELF. The only thing I see in your original post Scott Creighton is anti-Daily Show propaganda which completely misrepresents the central message from the Daily Show segment. Even if Revolution Muslim was not formed by true Muslims, that does not matter AT ALL! As John Stewart said, “hatred and intolerance is the enemy.” I don’t see how the FUCK you could consider that message to be anti-Muslim.

  83. Steven…

When Karl Rove and te other Bushie talking heads started demonizing Muslims in Iraq before the invasion in 2003, they too made a distinction in public between the “good Muslims” and the “radical Muslims”. Even George Bush did that.

George Bush never came out and said “all Muslims are evil”…

It was the specter of the jihadi terrorists that drove the anti-Muslim fervor.

Now we have Jon Stewart doing the exact same thing at a time when the administration is attempting to foster popular support to remove the “radical” Muslim regime in Iran…

now, maybe you don’t make that connection, but I can see it, and it worries me.

  84. Steven,

The point isn’t that Stewart is anti-Muslim, the point is that we have a Cointelpro, CIA driven and controlled web site whose purpose is to foment hatred and anger against Muslims and the researchers from The Daily Show missed something as key as the dubious formation of the site by an American who moved to Israel to become a radical Jewish teacher, But then converted to Islam after his schooling (in Israel) to become a Muslim who now does this crazy, America hate baiting shit.

Does the hook hurt as they reel you in?

  85. Thank you for writing this article and exposing the false flag.

Every time a muslim jaywalks neo-con’s see it as a justification for war on iraq, i mean iran.

Mat and trey may not have to worry about any muslims but they better watch out for the cia and mossad or some cheney squad

  86. not to poke holes, but there’s a problem with your little conspiracy theory here. People who believe passionately (read: obsessively, crazily, violently) in things, such as zionists, truthers, jihadis, and the rest are all way susceptible to radical changes in belief systems. The point is usually not the specific ideology, but the act of believing fanatically, in strong group-inclusion and other-exclusion psychologies. The insecure self defines its nature in terms of that which it radically is, and that which it radically is not, and brooks no room for middle ground. That is the source of radicalism, not any one ideology. Also, Joseph Cohen was living in Jerusalem, according to you, when he ‘pretended’ to convert. Look at the statistics for people who experience radical shifts in religious belief while in the “Holy Land.” Also, your analysis of Stewart’s “propagandizing” overlooked the most important part of the segment, when Stewart has one of his reporting staff–a muslim– come on and explain his perspective, while explicitly denying that he speaks for everyone. The upshot: just because a Jew converts to Islam and starts spewing anti-Western hate speech left and right doesn’t mean he’s doing it service of the worldwide Jewish conspiracy. It just means he’s a crazy asshole, like everyone else who spews hate speech in whatever ’cause’. Even the ones who do it implicitly, Mr. Creighton. Mr. Stewart’s performance called for discourse, for tolerance, for the right of comedians to make a joke, for the need of assholes everywhere to stop taking themselves so seriously. It was, as he generally is, eloquent, entertaining, and worth listening to. If the neocons up on here don’t like that, they should tell Beck to start bitching about Maher. He’s an easier target.

  87. willy…sigh….your stupid is showing

  88. voiceofreason…

I nver said this was a “jewish conspiracy”

In fact, in the follow up article, I still expose even more of Cohen’s staged anti-Western propaganda…

…. but I spend most of the time in the article researching the guy who was interviewed on Fox News as the representative from Revolution Muslim and I go into detail regarding his circumstantial connections with the CIA…

If it’s the CIA and the Mossad that are working together on this – after all, Cohen was “radicalized” in the West Bank while living on a settlement and the other guy was “radicalized” while living a couple miles from the CIA main offices in Langley, Va. -…

… if it is a joint effort, it really has nothing to do with a “jewish conspiracy” and everything to do with a far rightwing ideology that exists in the Likud party and the Neoliberal/Neoconservative Party here in America. Unfortunately, in both Israel and America (and Germany and England…) this mindset is the prevailing attitude across the political spectrum. The Green Party here and the Libertarians don’t share that empire building concensus, but the main political parties across the board do.

Its about empire building and creating an atmosphere that is conducive to attacking more “radical Muslims” in Iran.

I think that is what I was trying to express…. and that is a far cry from “a jewish conspiracy”

  89. No matter how much u dislike John Stewart… your first sentence is simply not true. Your argument would have been a little more powerful had u not undermined your credibility in the first sentence.

  90. mastabingus;

That’s the problem… I don’t dislike Jon Stewart. For the longest time I thought he was one of the bravest journalists on the MSM.

And I wasn’t alone… as the New York Times pointed out, Jon’s diligent investigations into the crimes of the Bush administration really set him apart so much that they had to ask if he was actually the most respected journalist in America…. that was 2008.

    Then along came Obama

And he has kinda kept up that mantel, but I noticed started he was erring on the side of political favor a little while ago.

But he’s working hard these days to prop up the “right wing terrorists” meme and the “radicalized Muslims” meme.

A week ago Bill Clinton was talking about the dangers of the “right wing extremists like Tim McVeigh” so what does Jon do? He hosts Maddow and they go back and forth on his show talking about the “dangers of right wing extremists who are just like Timothy mcVeigh”…

Jon also has been bringing a lot of ex-Bush administration officials on his show to laugh and yuck it up while promoting their new books…. I find that very distasteful considering Stewart figured most of them were accessories to war criminals just a few years ago….

So yeah, I would say he’s become a propagada spewing shill just like Glenn Beck….

    I find that very troubling.

  91. Hello from Ukraine !

This the very interesting article, I read all and have bookmarked !

    Thank you for it.

I also wrote on similar topic, all this shocking to us here in this region of globe !

    Anyway, sincerely to you,

    Rivne – UKR.

  92. So was the killing of Theo Van Gogh also committed by a Jewish man trying to make Muslims look bad, or does Jon have a point that religious Muslim extremism is bad? Is Bin-laden also a Mossad plant?

  93. […] Everyman 23 april 2010 – The “Radical” Muslim Group That Threatened South Park Creators Was Founded and Run by Joseph Co… (Scott […]

  94. Theo was killed by an angry, Muslim, that is true. There was a guy killed in a bar fight down the street just last night… should I ask the cops what religion he was?

But no, bin Laden was not a Mossad plant… he was funded by the CIA and the ISI during the occupation of Afghanistan by Russia. We actually funneled arms and money and munitions to him in various ways.

Carter’s advisor, Zbigniew Brzeninski, admitted that openly years later…

He went on to say in that interview, “What is most important to the history of the world? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?” When the interviewer questioned him about Islamic fundamentalism representing a world menace, Brzezinski said, “Nonsense!”

Brzezinski is currently an advisor to the Obama administration

  95. Hello Marina, and welcome.

  96. Before you conclude that Yusuf Al Khattab is faking his conversion to Islam watch this video. He’s the real deal.

  97. Fuck is a good thing. Stewart was prescribing some alone time, some healing time for the $MuslimExtremists you insensitive clods.

  98. I already saw that interview, thank you.

No he’s not “the real deal”.

Watch the end when Cohen realizes the interview is just about over…

… he starts spouting out hateful, cliched, “Islamofascist” talking points, one right after the other, that have nothing to do with questions he is being asked…

all he is doing is making sure that the character he is playing is universally hated …

Another question is this? How did this guy just HAPPEN to get the gig as being the one interviewed on Dawkins special show?

Does noone else here find it odd that EVERY SINGLE TIME the MSM needs a “radical Muslim” to parade around as a representative of this belief, they just HAPPEN to get the same guy or some other “convert” from his “Revolution Muslim” group?

What is he, like a “rent a terrorist”? Is there a union for these guys?

Is he the official spokesman for “converted” jihadists?

sorry, don’t buy it…. in fact, I think that video goes further to prove my point. Its pretty obvious how his character is being used….

  99. Yeah Rex, but he was telling them to go fuck themselves…

my mother told me you can go blind from that….

  100. I have to agree with willy. That video doesn’t prove (or disprove) anything, much less that he is “real”.

And I came away with the exact suspicious feeling of how it could be possible that this same dude just “happened” to get Dawkins’ interview?

I had seen this before, but didn’t put the name with the face.

  101. Yeah, Buelahman…

If this guy wants to view or read a statement from a “real” extremist he should look up the last confirmed message from bin Laden which was in November of 2001 when he said that he didn’t have anything to do with 9/11 because the Taliban had told him not to do anything to give the U.S. reason to invade Afghanistan… so he didn’t.

and call him a “real” extremist because he did pull off the attack on the u.S. Cole and other attacks, but like the FBI most wanted listing, I don’t think he had anything to do with 9/11.

  102. […] look bad. They say such wild and crazy things that you have to wonder." Furthermore, a blogger also is making a claim about Revolution Muslim being a fake radical muslim group set up to incite […]

  103. I am an anti Semitic [edit] of matrialinial origin who is only jewish in race, but I agree with this guys post. I have not a day in my life absorbed an ounce of their insanely degraded subculture and taken the anti Muslim bait. you can guarantee as well that every anti Muslim, unfounded reply against this article is done by some filthy [edit] behind a keyboard at Harvard. Muslims would give you the shirt off their back if you asked.

[edit: I have two rules and only two rules… no threats of violence toward anyone (but me… those I like)… and no racial slurs of any kind. Sorry, but I had to remove that word. hope you understand… SC.]

  104. First and foremost – Willy, you’re a coward. Instead of facing my charges and defending yourself in an open forum, you bust out the ban hammer and hide behind the skirts of your “internet power.” Shame on you.

The whole point of my calling you an anti-semite was to expose the tactics you are using to call Jon Stewart a shill etc. I even explicitly stated this to another brain dead respondent on this very page. Think long and hard about what I’m saying right now. If you believe yourself to be intelligent then take this little test. See if you can, just for a moment, try on the perspective I’m presenting to you right now. You string together circumstance and assertion to make outlandish conspiratorial claims. I string together the same things to make the claim that you’re an anti-semite. If you can’t see what I’m doing here then you’re either stupid or a liar.

Tell me this bud, if you were in charge of creating a CIA operation like the one you claim is the root cause of this muslim group – would you go find a former Jew that lived in the West Bank etc etc to do it? Does it make any sense whatsoever to line up the sort of ridiculous circumstantial evidence you claim as the basis for your conspiracy theory? C’mon dude, for what you’re saying to be true you need:

    A. The crazy ‘radical muslim’ to be a lying faker put up by the CIA
    B. The CIA leadership to be retarded
    C. The GMU student to be a CIA plant
    D. The CIA leadership to be retarded again

Seriously … take 5 minutes to honestly appraise the other side’s arguments on this one. If you’re honest you’ll come back here and point out that you’re reaching.

Going to be a coward again and run from the truth?

  105. Sorry, but this article leaves out some information.

    1. Joseph Cohen’s claim to fame is that he’s an Israeli settler who converted to Islam and moved to the West Bank. I highly doubt he’s an agent of the U.S. or Israeli government “pretending” to be Muslim. I saw him on Richard Dawkins’s BBC show a few years ago, and he sounded pretty serious. Maybe he’s just a nut altogether; but if COINTELPRO wanted to hire someone to defame Muslims, it would make much more sense to hire an Arab, Pakistani, Iranian, ect., to pretend to be a radical Muslim, and not an Israeli settler.

    2. Adam Gadahn is one-quarter Jewish. A fact he’s never tried to hide. I’m not sure how Gadahn Grandfather’s ADL membership, which he doesn’t deny, means Gadahn couldn’t have converted to Islam and subsequently become radical. I haven’t seen any compelling evidence that he’s secretly a CIA or Mossad agent pretending to be a radical Muslim. He wouldn’t be the first ordinary westerner to convert to Islam and become radicalized. Again, if Gadahn were really a U.S. agent, wouldn’t it have made more sense to hire a middle-easterner or at least someone without the Jewish connection to travel to middle east and pretend to be Jihadist?

  106. I’m going to respond to you, once again, in polite tems like I did before as you endlessly berated me and other readers here with your ad hominem attacks of “anti-semite”.

The “anti-semite” card is used so often these days leveled at anyone who dares question the criminal policie of some of the zionist in Israel’s government.

For people who use this cowardly attack, they are simply trying to divert attention away from obvous facts by in a sense using a childish “name calling” tactic.

But, we all know the danger of that specific label, don’t we?

Fact is, no one here had mentioned Jon stewarts religious beliefs until you did and you haven’t stopped mentioning them since.

The slurs that you continually toss out are so offensive, and you just don’t know it do you? “retarded”? WTF is wrong with you?

I banned you because you were trolling here trying to bait people into anti-semetic comments and when you didn’t get what you wanted, you just started making the shit up.

    Shame on me?

Deal with it asshole…. Cohen is not a “radical” Muslim… he’s not even a Muslim….

He might not even be jewish at this point for all I know and I don’t care what he is…. IT ISN’T RELEVANT….

what IS important is that he is clearly playing a role, probably for the CIA, in order to help foster anger toward “radical” Muslims… his past behavior proves that, his personal history supports that, and the organizations close ties to the CIA also tend to suggest I am correct…..

now, go find another friend who’s computer you can use, and I will ban you again.

I will not allow you to badger my readers like you did before with your politically motivated crusade….

now your friend’s computer is also banned…

and just so you know, I am going to ban that friends computer as welll and erase your bile-filled comments…. I’m writing another article and I don’t have time to listen to your crap…

  107. Burka Burka Mohammed Jihad!!!@!

  108. Swearing diminishes credibility.

  109. Bill:

“Joseph Cohen’s claim to fame is that he’s an Israeli settler who converted to Islam and moved to the West Bank”

not quite.. Cohen attended orthadox rabbinical school in Israel, THEN he moved to the West Bank and lived on an Israeli settlement THEN… during that time, he supposedly became “radicalized” by the internet…

I think he admits that much in the Dawkins interview

” I’m not sure how Gadahn Grandfather’s ADL membership, which he doesn’t deny, means Gadahn couldn’t have converted to Islam and subsequently become radical”

I don’t mean to imply that it means he COULDN’T have become a convert to Islam, but when you put his education together with his life as a settler AND add to that the fact that his grandfather, who he lived with prior to going to rabbinical school… when you add ALL of that up and look at the ENTIRE picture, it certainly makes it harder to believe he just all of a sudden jumped ship because of some internet chat room….

“Again, if Gadahn were really a U.S. agent, wouldn’t it have made more sense to hire a middle-easterner or at least someone without the Jewish connection to travel to middle east and pretend to be Jihadist?”

Cohen first of all was living in New York City for most of his “converted” life… not the Middle East.

And in the other article I wrote about this topic, I expose several other members of Revolution Muslim who in fact were not jewish prior to their conversion to Islam.

There is a private detective in Tampa who investigates all these “radicalized” Muslim websites and do you know what he found? at least 3 of them were hosted by a company right there in Tampa Florida…

do you know what else is in Tampa Florida?

McDill Airforce Base… the home of the command center for the Global War on Terror…

now why is it, you think, they just HAPPEN to be in the same city where so many of these sites are hosted?

They are called “honey pots”. Fake sites set up to bait people who could potentially do harm as extremists. Its what they call Human Terrain Systems. The use of propaganda or subversion to affect the social structure of the enemy….

  110. and there is one more thing Bill…

remember, South Park ran with a full image of Muhammad in 2001 and then continued to air it on their website AND on the opening segment of their show for years….

and no Muslim went crazy and threatened to kill anyone….

and now, after 9 years, these guys are the ones to go off?

Put all that together and it’s pretty damn suspicious, don’t you think?

  116. Wily, your argument is entirely based on assumption.

“This man is a jew, so certainly he can’t be an Islamic Radical”

The given facts are that Cohen created this website, that this website has encouraged terrorism, and that this website issued ‘veiled’ death threats on Matt and Trey. Anything else is pure speculation.

“There was a guy killed in a bar fight down the street just last night… should I ask the cops what religion he was?”

A hypocritical point. You are basing your entire argument on the fact that Cohen and associates are Jewish.

Furthermore, by aiming your anger at Jon Stewart, you make yourself out as extremely immature– the man is a comedian after all. If you truly believe that Revolution Muslim is a “cointelpro” site– a statement unsupported by fact– wouldn’t your anger be better off directed at the US intelligence?

  117. Great story! And one that goes a long way in explaining how our own understanding of the conflict over there changed from one that had the Palestinians as the victims with Irgun terrorists as the pro-Zionist aggressors and war criminals, to one that today has us blaming the victims of a state-sanctioned ethnic cleansing campaign. That we have been made fools of is confirmed by no less than *Jewish* intellectuals Albert Einstein (with Hannah Arendt and 26 others) sending a letter, in 1948, to the NYTimes explaining how US citizens were being deceived by the lies and manipulations of (future Israeli PM) Menachem Begin and his “Freedom” political party, who he described as terrorists and prewar fascists who still maintained their beliefs as shown by how they had just recently conducted a massacre of Palestinian women and children. It was this slaughter that resulted in the panicked flight of most of the rest. This is confirmed by a 1951 UK Times article called “Homeless in Gaza”. Here are links to the original articles (in order mentioned).

  118. samurai…

are you trying to suggest I said this…

“This man is a jew, so certainly he can’t be an Islamic Radical”

because I did not say that

  119. samurai…

my point was never about his religion, it was about his membership in a radical subset of Israelis… the settlers.

Settlers are hardcore zionists, and not all jews or even Israelis are zionists… much less, settlers.

My point is that when combined with all the other evidence, the fact that this man was an orthadox zionist living in the illegal settlements, certainly comes into play when you are evaluating the legitimacy of his so-called conversion.

    that’s just basic common sense….

and again… that is not about him being jewish or not being jewish…

now, just to give you an idea of what I am talking about… take today’s new for instance…

“Palestinian protesters and Israeli police have clashed after Jewish settlers marched in the Arab neighbourhood of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem.

The hardline settlers, who live in illegal housing units on occupied Palestinian land, want Arabs removed from the area and their homes demolished to make way for Israeli construction projects.

Al Jazeera’s Jacky Rowland, reporting from Silwan, said that the demonstration had been “extremely provocative.”

“[It is] a highly aggressive gesture on the part of the settlers – people really hell-bent on driving Palestinians from their land,” she said, adding that Israeli police had allowed the protestors to march around 200 metres into the Palestinian neighbourhood.

The settlers view Jerusalem as their “eternal capital” and want to rid it of Arabs residents “affirming Jewish sovereignty over the whole city”.

According to international law, East Jeruselem belongs to Palestine and has since the June 1967 accord which is recognized by the International Criminal Court and the United Nations as the official boundries of Palestine and Israel.

Now, the settlers don’t see it that way… to them “god” says something else….

that’s the difference that I am talking about

  120. And lest anyone not believe there’s been a long-running and extremely well organized campaign of pro-Israeil propaganda, do a search on the word for it, “Hasbara”. In particular, look for something called “The Hasbara Handbook” written with pro-Zionist college students in mind. Inside the authors promote the tactic of sureptitously joining in a debate having the Palestinian conflict as a topic, but joining it on the pro-Arab side then losing the debate. Any mind that could concieve of such is not only dishonest, but particularly sleazy and would no doubt have few qualms about calling anyone who criticizes IDF/Likud policy an “anti-Semite”.

  121. samurai;

Since we are talking about current events and the differences between “jews” and “settlers”, check out this story from Haaretz, Israel’s leading newspaper….

“The more egregious acts of settler violence are reported in the Israeli media, although rarely with prominence, but most incidents fail to attract the attention of the major news outlets at all – because they occur so frequently that they have become unremarkable, because most Israelis are numb to these stories, and because Palestinians are increasingly reluctant to file a police complaint. Why bother to enlist the help of the police when, as Yesh Din has documented, more than 90 percent of legal cases involving settler violence end with their being closed due to “lack of evidence”?

with the situation going on in East Jeruselem being what it is, it certainly doesn’t harm Israel’s public opinion to have all eyes focused on the Revolution Muslim right now, does it?

  123. I live in Columbus, Ohio which oddly, given its landlocked location, is a virtual mecca (pun sort of intended) for the Somali Muslim immigrant population. It not being unusual for Muslim congregations to be racially mixed, there are other Muslim immigrants here as well. I lived upstairs from a Moroccan family for four years (lovely people, they invited my single-mom self in for tea!), and I’ve been proselytized to by a Bosnian (?) Muslim in Goodwill who never once threatened me with violence. He just seemed really, really happy, like some of the less rabid Baptists I’ve run into.

Occasionally the local teabaggers get all het up about some terrorist threat or another, and then the local authorities either reassure us that no one like that lives aorund here, or they trot someone out with a distant connection to something elsewhere, but it is more often the former than the latter.

The population is large… and yet, strangely, nearly invisible.

OK, maybe not so strange. We also have a large Jewish population here. And they are more likely to be high-earners than their Muslim counterparts, and also more likely to be established citizens than first- or second-generation immigrants. So much so that one of our wealthiest neighborhoods, Bexley, is home to at least two large and well-kept synagogues.

A few years back I was really into learning more about Islam because, strange as it might sound, I found a lot that was appealing about the religion. I can’t really explain it here, there’s not enough room, just know that I wasn’t looking into it out of superstition or a desire to control anyone else. (Might interest the atheists amongst you to know that the Qur’an forbids compulsion in religion. Saw the verse with my own eyes, mind you–I still have two translations of it at home.) In the process of that, I was at the bookstore one day and happened to find a magazine aimed at Muslim teen girls. I am well beyond my teen years, but I was pleased to see the magazine offered and purchased it, hoping to encourage B&N to continue carrying it. (It was a good issue too.)

    No such luck.

They still carry Christian magazines, Buddhist magazines, Goddess spirituality magazines, “freethought” magazines, and–you guessed it–Jewish magazines. But not a single Muslim title, and I guarantee you there are at least a good handful out there they could pick from.

I doubt it’s because the distributor’s flaky. That’s been true for Goddess/Pagan zines as far back as I can remember, yet that store carries them.

Doubt it’s a lack of interest. There are more Muslims in this town than Goddess-worshippers. Also, I see hijabis in that bookstore all the time. Usually they’re getting coffee and working on laptops or studying. One time they came back to the children’s section because it was prayer time and there was an out-of-the-way corner.

I don’t know if someone complained about the magazine, but I’m suspicious. It would be a shame if that were true. Maybe it didn’t even take a complaint. Maybe whoever decides what gets stocked at that location just has the wrong friends.

But it was symbolic of everything else that is weird about this town–about who is noticed and who ignored, given the demographics.

And this is a relatively tolerant town. I can’t imagine what it’s like in, say, Birmingham.

  124. Just saying,
Converts are generally the strongest in the faith they choose.

  125. I don’t say all that to change the subject, by the way, but to add another data point about this whole discussion. Some of us wring our hands about how scary Muslims are… but we apparently don’t stop to think about how scary it must be to BE a Muslim in the United States.

One of the things that held me back from saying shahada (besides getting caught up on that whole what-if-Muhammad-made-it-all-up thing) was fear of what my family would do if I reverted. They’re Cajun and the vast majority of them are Republican-voting Catholics. They *already* keep me at a distance ’cause I’m the embarrassing family liberal. Could you imagine?

  129. A conspiracy can be found anywhere if you want to believe one exists and you look hard enough.

  130. The facts are what they are Jonathan. Nobody wants to find something here, it just is.

Look, the idea that the CIA had something to do with running a fake “radical” site is not without precident…

Who is that white supremist who was being tried recently who admitted in court he was a FBI or CIA plant? Hell, they write textbooks about doing it…

And now we have Cass Sunstein of the Obama administration saying the way to get these dissent groups broken up is to infiltrate them and sow seeds of internal anymosity and distrust….

It’s not “conspiracy”…. its current events.

  131. One Man’s “Current Events” are another man’s “Current Conspiracy Theories.” You wouldn’t have lost credibility if your “article” was not so biased. Just because you pay to have a website hosted does not make you a journalist. A journalist reports the facts and lets the audience come up wih their own opinions and conclusions. Your “articles” are so majorly laced with rhetoric and bias that it is impossible to take you seriously. You are a blogger and nothing more.

  132. Wow, Jonathon. That really stings. Like a gnat.

  133. Dana’s comments truely reveal how Muslims perfer peace and believe in the saying, ‘Live and let live’… wish we could all be like that.

  134. Jonathan;

“. A journalist reports the facts and lets the audience come up wih their own opinions and conclusions. Your “articles” are so majorly laced with rhetoric and bias that it is impossible to take you seriously.”

That’s a good point. Did you watch the Jon Stewart segment video we have been talking about?

He sings and dances “Go Fuck Yourself!” in front of a southern baptist choir at the end…

do you think that might be a little biased? a little “one sided” filled with meaningless rhetoric?

What I have offered with this article and the follow-up is actual evidence, hours and hours of research, and now several commenters have added even more…

I saw a stark contrast between the reaction of muslims to this South Park episode and that of their non-reaction to the one in 2001… so I looked into it.

and I found what I found.

    Am I a “journalist”?

No. “journalists” these days are bought and paid-for shills for the corporatist media….

Bloggers are the only truly free and independent news sources you are going to find these days.

I am a blogger and I work hard to produce the best writing I can. I am proud to be one of many out there.

so I thank you for that comment.

  135. Jon Stewart is not a journalist. He has never claimed to be one. He is a comedian who does a faux news progrom on a comedy network. You did know that, right?

  136. […] While we are at it more claims that Revolution Muslim is a CIA front. […]

  137. Jonathan;

I don’t mean to be rude, but you really haven’t been keeping up with current events, have you?

Aside from the New York Times inferring in 2008 that Stewart may actually be the most trusted news person in the country at that time… there are many, many others.

Heres one from the Guardian… it uses Stewart’s interview with Jim Cramer, you remember, the interview in which he got Cramer to basically appologise for being such a blatent shill for Wall Street banks…. anyway, the Guardian comes to the same conclusion as the New York Times… and that was in 2009

“Daily Show host Jon Stewart has declared war on financial news network CNBC and is winning praise for doing journalism that many feel traditional media in the US no longer does”

That article was called “When Fake News Becomes Real Journalism” and you can go here and read it…

People trust Jon Stewart, especially on the left.

You can pretend that no one thinks of him as a real journalist if that makes you feel better, but the truth is a little different.

that is, if you have been keeping up with current events

  138. And you see, that is what makes Stewart an exceptionally useful propagandist.

He can go out there and get away with saying anything they want him to say …

and he will be almost universally believed without question by his loyal fans on the left…

and when someone comes along and points out that he is completely wrong, well… all he and his apologists have to do is say “he’s a comedian! He’s not news!”…

… and he gets away with it.

Its kinda like when Glenn Beck goes out there and lies straight to his people who also think he is giving them “news”. When he is caught lying, all Fox News has to say is that Beck is an “opinion” show….

    you see how that works?

  139. So because an uninformed portion of the country believes he is legitimate, then that must make it true? If that’s how the world works then I am going to start believing that I am a millionare. I will report back on my progress.

  140. Willy,

Jonathon no more believes that than you or I do. But it is the pat defense, when the apologists feel like an idol has been threatened.

Of course it is the very fact that The Daily Show has discussed the prescient issues that MSM media won’t touch that makes it so damned good. Stewart is a very funny guy, but as a political humorist, he is no Carlin.

What he has become is a shill for Obama.

Like I said a thousand times, the Duopoly made it easy to bash Bush. But to hold Obama accountable means one bites the hand that feeds it.

This will change (AGAIN) with the next election cycle as the Sheople follow the piper precisely the way they are led.

Just like our little friend, Jonathon, here.

  141. This is serious stuff about Muslisms. Crazy.

  142. Jonathan;

“So because an uninformed portion of the country believes he is legitimate, then that must make it true?”

The New York Times and the Guardian are “uninformed”? Come on now, you’re really reaching….

  143. How am I reaching? When was the last time either was considered a credible source for news? It wasn’t that long ago that the NYT was caught making up their own stories. Just sayin’

  144. Buelahman;

    Yeah I know.

As far as Stewart/Carlin goes… Stewart is no Carlin and he isn’t even Bill Hicks….

You think they would give Hicks or Carlin a prime-time show of their own? Stewart had to demonstrate that he would tow the status-quo line, not just on air, but also in his thinking, before they would dare grace him with celebrity.

  145. I guess the last time Stewart was considered a credible news source was when he hopped around singing “Go Fuck Yourselves!” to the radical “Muslims” at Revolution Muslim…

…. because millions of people bought the bullshit he was saying without thinking about the facts of the case….

kinda like you are doing now.

  146. I don’t even watch the Daily show, so how could I be buying into it? I am asleep by the time that comes on as I have a job and have to get up early. Also, I beliveve I was referring to the NYT and the Guardian when I asked about being credible, not Stewart.

  147. and let me just say this…. I know that the Muslims didn’t do this… fake Muslims did trying to create anger toward other Muslims…. and the press and the media in general bought into it hook line and sinker…

The overall point of Stewart’s show was to show how he and his crew have abused all other religions and none of them threatened anyone…. singling out radical “Muslims” as being the only ones preaching religious intollerance….

aside from the fact that the group, Revolution Muslim is probably a fake Muslim site, there is another aspect of Stewarts argument that makes his show even more ridiculously flawed…..

you have to be a fool to think that ONLY radical Muslims have done this in America…

    from Glenn Greenwalds site….

“The various forms of religious-based, intimidation-driven censorship and taboo ideas in the U.S. — what Douthat claims are non-existent except when it involves Muslims — are too numerous to chronicle. One has to be deeply ignorant, deeply dishonest or consumed with petulant self-victimization and anti-Muslim bigotry to pretend they don’t exist. I opt (primarily) for the latter explanation in Douthat’s case.

As Balloon-Juice’s DougJ notes, everyone from Phil Donahue and Ashliegh Banfield to Bill Maher and Sinead O’Connor can tell you about that first-hand. As can the cable television news reporters who were banned by their corporate executives from running stories that reflected negatively on Bush and the war. When he was Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani was fixated on using the power of his office to censor art that offended his Catholic sensibilities. The Bush administration banned mainstream Muslim scholars even from entering the U.S. to teach. The Dixie Chicks were deluged with death threats for daring to criticize the Leader, forcing them to apologize out of fear for their lives. Campaigns to deny tenure to academicians, or appointments to politicial officials, who deviate from Israel orthodoxy are common and effective. Responding to religious outrage, a Congressional investigation was formally launched and huge fines issued all because Janet Jackson’s breast was displayed for a couple of seconds on television.

All that’s to say nothing of the endless examples of religious-motivated violence by Christian and Jewish extremists designed to intimidate and suppress ideas offensive to their religious dogma (I’m also pretty sure the people doing this and this are not Muslim). And, contrary to Douthat’s misleading suggestion, hate speech laws have been used for censorious purposes far beyond punishing speech offensive to Muslims — including, for instance, by Christian groups invoking such laws to demand the banning of plays they dislike.”

  148. Actually Gadham only had 1 Jewish Grandparent his Fathers Father the 3 others were none Jews

Gadahn was born Adam Pearlman, the son of musician Phil Pearlman. Gadahn’s Jewish paternal grandfather, Carl Pearlman, was a prominent urologist; and on the Board of Directors of the Anti-Defamation League, but Gadahn’s father converted to Christianity and changed his name to “Gadahn”, derived from the name of the Biblical figure “Gideon”. According to Gadahn, he was a “zealous supporter” of Israel.[7][8] Gadahn’s paternal grandmother, Agnes Branch, a Christian, was an editor for The Chronicle Christian Newspaper.[9] Gadahn’s father, originally Phil Pearlman, grew up in Orange County, California. He was involved in the counterculture movement at the University of California at Irvine, and before Adam’s birth became a Christian. Gadahn described his father as having been “raised agnostic or atheist, but he became a believer in One God when he picked up a Bible left on the beach.”[2] His father’s religious perspective was flexible and based upon his own spiritual needs and as a new convert to Islam, Gadahn portrayed his father in manner sympathetic to his religion of conversion.[2] He and his wife Jennifer changed their name to Gadahn, after the Biblical warrior Gideon.[2]

Gadahn was born in Oregon, raised a Christian, and homeschooled through high school by his parents on an isolated farm in Western Riverside County, California.[2] He played Little League baseball and participated in Christian homeschool support groups. As an adolescent he became very involved in the death metal community, making contact with fans and musicians through alternative magazines.[2] During the summer of 1993, he formed his own one-man band called Aphasia.[2] Gadahn contributed music reviews and artwork to a zine called Xenocide.[2] In 1995, at age 16, Gadahn moved in with his grandparents in the Floral Park neighborhood of Santa Ana, California, where he worked in a computer store and explored the Internet.[2] As a new convert to Islam Gadahn lamented the estrangement his musical interest caused between him and his family writing, “My relationship with my parents became strained, although only intermittently so. I am sorry even as I write this.”[2]

  152. Maybe I misunderstand:

    1) Some guy threatens death on the creators of South Park
    2) Jon Stewart tells *that guy* to go fuck himself
    3) Jon Stewart is a bad person?

    I’m not following.

  153. Jack:

    1. they didn’t “threaten death on the creators of South Park”…. their article on their blog actually stated “This is not a death threat”…. and the police commissioner of New York City has stated that there was no crime committed (making death threats on the internet is a felony)

    2. Jon Stewart told “radical muslims” to go fuck themselves… furthering the Karl Rove type propaganda that “radical muslims hate us for our freedoms’… it used to be a laughable claim but now apparently progressives and liberals buy into it (since Stewart says it)

    3. I don’t say Jon Stewart is a “bad person”… he’s just a weak person for repeating this propaganda without fully vetting the source.

  154. Sorry, a follow-up:

#1 Revised: 1) Some guy warned the creators of South Park as to what could happen if they followed through with their show.

1a) The post leads with a picture of dead Theo Van Gogh, and has a link saying “Where Do They Live?”

I guess it’s not a death threat, but it sure as heck isn’t a public service announcement.

  155. So I guess it’s what you take the message to mean:

To me, it’s a thinly veiled threat, with invitation for people to find them at their place of residence. I guess to you, it’s not. Differing opinions.

  156. I get real death threats here every other week. A year or so ago I had one guy tell me he was going to send one of his buddies from a local military base to visit me… that “visit” was to be in the middle of the night.

Why didn’t the media world shut down then? Where was Jon Stewert coming to my defense when I was threatened for writing about the fact that we had no business being in Iraq?

How is it that a little blog no-one reads gets sooo much attention from CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC anyway?

Since when did you ever hear of radical muslims writing a death threat so carefully that they couldn’t be held accountable under the current laws? “Radical” lawyers?

  157. So this is part of the conspiracy too Months or years before Revolution Muslim was founded?
This Khattab is quite an actor.

Did he also just pretend that Theo van Gogh was murdered by fundamentalists? Oh wait, that actually happened.

the idea that he was a settler in the West Bank who just might happen to have something to gain by making people hate “radical Muslims” is just too wild, huh?

  160. Although I think that your tone is over the top (you don’t really know enough, I suspect, to judge Stewart to be a contemptible puppet, EVEN IF you are right about Revolution Muslim) – I still think this is an interesting and under-reported perspective on this story, and I’m glad I happened upon it.

I already wrote about this Daily Show episode strongly criticising Jon Stewart for classifying radical Muslims as an ‘enemy’ in a wholly different category from supposedly ‘decent but misguided’ cynical ideologues like Bill O’Reily.

I will update my post to direct readers to this story so that they can decide for themselves.

I think that The Daily Show has done a lot of genuinely good work, but I was extremely disappointed in this episode and felt let down by Jon Stewart.

  161. you make a good point, G. I just finished another article with a little more information you might find interesting…

“More Hypocricy from Jon Stewart Regarding “PsyOp Muslim” Skit and All the Bush Era Neocons Selling Their Books on His Show”

  162. Yes, I’d like to echo G’s post by saying that I too wish the tone of your article was less condemning of Stewart. He really is one of the “good guys” in an ever-diminishing pool of well known voices from which many people drawf their opinions from.

Having said that however, this is also an important story which mainstream media would better serve their audience if they picked it up themselves. If that’s what it takes to get their attention, then so be it. But I would have preffered a less strident tone.
But we can’t have everything we want, now can we? If that were the case, FOX News would be non-existent and America would be a much better place to live in thereby giving us all much less to complain about in our blogs! And we an’t have that, now can we? 😉

  163. Fuck you, Scott. Seriously.

Jon Stewart is a comedian – not a news anchor.

If you’d write a little less like Glenn Beck, you might be taken more seriously.

  164. Everyone, whether comedian or new-anchor or whatever, has responsibilities as a citizen and human being. I would probably say Stewart does better than most of us flawed humans however, notwithstanding my feeling that he does not follow through with the full courage of his convictions.

There’s a reason Joan of Arc is famous. Not many of ’em around… People with talent, opportunity and integrity, in the right time and place in history.

  165. Here’s another analogy, G…

Chris Hedges was the Middle East Bureau Chief for The New York Times.

“During the first Gulf War he was taken prisoner by the Iraqi Republican Guard while covering the Shiite uprising in the southern Iraqi city of Basra.”

In 2003, Hedges was giving the commencement address at Rockford College and the crowd started to boo him because his comments weren’t “pro-war” enough… two students jumped on the stage and pushed him away from the podium…

Here was a man who had seen wars all over the globe for 20 years, he had been taken prisoner Saddam’s Republican Guard, a respected journalist and author…. and he was booed and assaulted by kids who’s only concept of war was watching Bush land on an aircraft carrier and Band of Brothers on TV.

The New York Times got wind of this and they called him into the office and told him he was no longer allowed to give any anti-war speeches.

    Chris Hedges resigned his position.

  166. Muslims are trained liars from day one. It’s called “Taqqiya” and “Kitman”; invented by the Shiites, and adopted by the Sunnis and other Islamic Schools of Jurisprudence.

Read the Koran, read the Hadith, read the Sira, read what the Islamic Schools of Jurisprudence have to say about each of the separate proclaimed Sharia laws, and then decide… are death threats involving the depiction of Mohamed stereotypical of Islam, or are the run-of-the-mill.

It’s not like Islam has not murdered several hundred million people in Africa, India, Europe and the Middle East or anything… oh wait…

Here is another enchanting tale of Islam in the world… a grown man rapes a 13 year old child to death.

“SHUEBA, Yemen — A 13-year-old Yemeni child bride who died shortly after marriage was tied down and raped by her husband, her mother said.

Nijma Ahmed, 50, told the Associated Press late Friday that just before her daughter lost consciousness she described how her 23-year-old husband had tied her up and forced himself on her. She bled to death hours later.

Elham Assi died April 2, four days after she was married. A forensic report said her vagina and rectum were deeply ripped, causing her to hemorrhage.

The practice of marrying young girls is widespread in impoverished Yemen. Traditional families prefer young brides and poor families can be lured with hundreds of dollars in gifts.”

  168. @MMM

Zionist propaganda much? How bout we start quoting the talmud?

“When a Jew has a Gentile in his clutches, another Jew may go to the same Gentile, lend him money and in turn deceive him, so that the Gentile shall be ruined. For the property of a Gentile, according to our law, belongs to no one, and the first Jew that passes has full right to seize it.”

    Schulchan Aruch, Choszen Hamiszpat 156″

“To communicate anything to a Goy about our religious relations would be equal to the killing of all Jews, for if the Goyim knew what we teach about them, they would kill us openly.”

    Libbre David 37

“If a goy killed a goy or a Jew he is responsible, but if a Jew killed a goy he is not responsible.”

    Tosefta, Aboda Zara, VIII, 5

“Kill the Goyim by any means possible.”

    Choshen Ha’mishpat 425:50

“Everyone who sheds the blood of the impious [non-Jews] is as acceptable to God as he who offers a sacrifice to God.”

    Yalkut 245c

“Extermination of the Christians is a necessary sacrifice.”

    Zohar, Shemoth

“Tob shebbe goyyim harog – Even the best of the Goyim (Gentiles) should be killed.”

    Soferim 15, Rule 10

nice try you hasbara shill but your racist ideology has disdain for every non-jew that bleeds through their racist religious text non-stop.

Heres another famous quote for you “Dont throw stones if you live in a glass house”

  169. @MMM and since you brought up some propaganda about “muslims raping 13 year olds” lets go to your favorite religious tome to see what it thinks about banging THREE YEAR OLDS:

“A maiden aged three years and a day may be acquired in marriage by coition, and if her deceased husband’s brother cohabits with her, she becomes his.”

    glass house d-bag, glass house.

  170. @MMM

And one last thing. lets talk about OPERATION CAST LEAD and slaughtering 1500+ innocent women and children in palestine. seriously dude you dont have a foot to stand on in this debate.

  171. @PPP your getting your Talmud quotes from ‘come and hear’ a well known anti Jewish blog run by Carol Valentine and a 9?11 truther rofl.

  172. alright….

this is not going to devolve into a debate about one religion verses the other.

Everyone has their fair share of blood on their hands. Even the damn buddists for god’s sake…

MMM, stick to the topic… whether or not some kid was raped by a Muslim has nothing to do with Revolution Muslim being fake. And quit with the gross generalizations… everyone…. this is about a specific situation, so please stick to that subject.

I can’t pretend to know Stewart’s motivation and so I do not venture a guess. All I can do is point out the pattern of his behavior, and it is a disturbing pattern for a supposed “liberal”.

Revolution Muslim appears to be a front organization either for the CIA or some other neocon/neoliberal group.

That is the topic. Please stick too that people….

  173. And Mark…

anytime you want to have a debate on the subject of the facts surrounding 9/11, I will be glad to set up an entire thread for it right on the front page so everyone gets to see it…

But let’s not just arbitrarily slander an entire group of people just because they think we need a new investigation into who killed 2,770+ Americans that day. Fact is, we do need a new investigation.

We know now that the CIA, at the request of a Bush administration official, burned videos of the “confessions” that serve as the basis for the conclusions the 9/11 Commission Report came to.

We know now that Bush’s hand picked Director of the 9/11 Commission, Philip Zelikow, was in constant communication with the White House and Karl Rove as the “independent” investigation was going on.

We know Larry Silverstein lied when he claimed that his “pull it” comment was about the firefighters since the Bush lacky recently admitted to Fox News that Larry was actually talking to his insurance company about demolishing the building, while it was still standing….

Now, these are just some of the facts that came out in the past few months… and there are lots more… so Mark, if you’re ok with another whitewash congressional “investigation”, well that is just fine with me, but some people pay attention to current events and they may have a different opinion when it comes to 2,770+ dead Americans…. and I happen to be one of them.

So if you want to have an informed debate, you just let me know… I will set the thread up. But if you just want to sling vapid slurs about people who care this nation… well, that ain’t gonna happen.

  174. But, Willy… You know that 911 Truthers are unserious and just wanting some sort of recognition and spot light of the media to obtain their 15 minutes of fame.

I mean, why ask any questions when they have already answered everything to the Sheople’s delight?

  175. I guess it is because none of us “truthers” were hugged enough as kids or we were hugged too much or we were hugged by hooker mothers or we were hooked on phonics….

either way, it’s because we have nothing better to do except sitting around jerking off in Star Trek costumes with tin-foil hats on our heads….

    speaking of which…

  176. […] what they failed to tell you is that the Radical Muslim group that made the threats was apparently founded and run by Joseph Cohen, a former Israeli Radical who use to live in a settlement in the West Bank. Joseph […]

  177. @mark that isnt the only place that quotes that particular passage in sanhendrin 59b. And dont get me wrong i dont think either side is perfect angels. but with the zionist domination on our news stations and hollywood…. and practically every other facet of life in america- there is an inordinate amount of focus on propaganda about muslims, while the jewish extremists get a free pass at every turn.

  178. Awesome article! South Park is running super low on ratings. It is not a surprise that they went into cohorts with Comedy Central to make this kind of hype for them. But it sucks that the media fed into it and gave a voice to all the bigots around the country who were dumb enough not to realize that there was episode of Muhammad long ago that never received even a whisper from Muslims.

I see a disturbing trend building though. The Zionists really know what they’re doing and this may be very detrimental to us all. Remember, it was not long ago that the Nazis built so much anger and hate towards a certain group of people in order to get their goals achieved.

  179. […] Apparently there’s doubt that Revolution Muslim is even a genuine organisation; that it is some kind of device for Israelis to whip up fear of Muslims. I don’t know how credible this is but you can read for yourself here. […]

  180. Zee jooz is comign to steal da freedumz! Is conspiracy! Dey run de Americuhz!

  181. […] El grupo "radical" islámico que amenazó a "South Park" fundado por un judío u……  por Davintxi hace 3 segundos […]

  182. oh man , thank you !
i knew there was something wrong about all this
sick of those jewish troublemakers , not a goddamn 50 years passed and they already create conspiracies and revolts

another thing, one damn colective insult them SP proceeds to insult all ppl who belive in islam . For me they can go to hell , no more sp and their propaganda

  183. willyloman, i can tell you that normal muslims don’t give a shit about Jon or SP, but talking about american muslims … poor guys

  184. Hey willy here is a nice article from washingtonpost to slap some of these ignorant bastards

“In the twilight of the Cold War, the United States spent millions of dollars to supply Afghan schoolchildren with textbooks filled with violent images and militant Islamic teachings, part of covert attempts to spur resistance to the Soviet occupation.”

And then here is NATO covering up 3 women being killed and then blaming it on honor killings which new york times found out.

    Here is another great link

And lastly to people who think 9/11 isnt an inside job just tell them to explain wtc 7 and how the cement pulverized to dust from CEMENT without a plane hitting it and how it collapsed into nothing. Thats all.

  185. […] Matt Parker and Trey Stone by the website Revolution Muslim (which, according to the Internet rumor mill, is run by an Israeli Jew named Joseph Cohen)—refused to air an episode depicting the prophet […]

  186. Wow, this site just proves Bill Gates made it too easy for anyone to get on the internet.

  187. Goebbels, no one here is calling Jews evil and Islam is not against Christians or Judaism.

and Farris, you are so right… even YOU are on the net….

  188. @”Goebbels” what did you think you were being clever with this tact? Did you realize people stopped listening to your screaming of “anti-Semite!!!” “holocaust!!!” “wiped off the map!!!” ad infinitum and decide to try it this way? no sale hasbara troll.

@Jan dont waste your time, this is among another one of those brainwashed megaphoney losers who can’t stop nurturing his beloved victim persona.

  189. Oh, I’m sorry, all you’re wah-wah victimhood crap is lost on me. Your impotent fury, as ever, is hysterical.

  190. Thanks ADLSucks, you are right… it was a waste of my time.. 🙂

the friedchicken man would be a waste too….. let him go stuff his face …..

  191. Well what do you know, another liberal leftist scum site on the internet. Hey why don’t you all partner with DU? I’m sure you two will have a lot of things in common. Also, please take out the word AMERICAN from this site. Replace it with something like… I don’t know, LIBERAL MARXIST Everyman.

Muslims always boohooing over stuff. Get over it you moon god worshiping scum. You along with the zealous socialist Christians and Catholics (Pat Robertson & Fred Phelps) are why liberals are the most hated vermin this country has ever known.

    Semper Fi

  192. yeah, I got it… “hoorah… go america… islamofascist…. sandniggers… hadjis… evil muslims… evil socialists… evil communists… blah blah blah”

been the same bullshit from the same morons for years and years now.

take your ass back to Blackwater and get paid on the government dime to kill poor people in other countries for big banks and big oil…

and I would much rather be a poor open-minded socialist than a rich hatemonger fascist anyday. Now, that said… fuck off.

  193. […] The “Radical” Muslim Group That Threatened South Park Creators Was Founded and Run by Joseph Cohen, a Former Israeli Radical Who Used to Live in a Settlement in the West Bank… […]

  194. Why all this anger directed at Jon Stewart? He’s a comedian, and his writing staff is also composed of comedians, not journalists by any means. Since when has it been a comedian’s job to be in the position as a purveyor of truth? What about the rest of the “real” media that wasn’t doing their job?

I applaud the the author’s willingness to dig a little deeper in to this story, but anyone with half a brain could’ve spent 30 minutes on Wikipedia to unearth these exact same findings. It is awfully sad that the droves of “investigative journalists” out there seemed to have missed this one, but at least if they had they wouldn’t have peppered their report with obscenities, name-calling, and cynicism; thereby destroying their credibility.

Next time, just state the facts and leave the creative witticisms to the professionals (like Jon Stewart for example).

  195. Jacques I’m sorry you took time off from sucking Stewart’s balls dry to actually reading a piece criticizing him …*GASP!*. Like Willy has said, Jon was considered the most trusated man by the New York Times, and it is because of all this undeserved praise Willy is pointing out Jon’s bs.

“Creative witticisms”? Hahaha! I die in embarrassment every time I watch his show, and his attempt at being funny. Stephen Colbert, yes now he’s funny. But Jon just panders to his worshiping fans with corny humor. Jon and his clever “fuck yourself” gospel every now and then. I mean I get goosebumps at his sheer genius debating skills where he tells his opponents they’re idiots…again genius! If anyone could have dug all this up and put it together why haven’t more people done so? Jon is a fake progressive, his fans however think he is their savior.

Reasons Jon is a major douche
-Bashes Fox News daily. So edgy.We get it Fox News sucks. I hate them too, however I got over the hate long time ago Jon should too. It is getting tired. Fox news isn’t the problem the entire MSM is.
-Says some sort of profanity, gets hailed for it as being clever debating
-Says the Japan bombings were war crimes then takes it back on another show. Yup Jon sure is brave for being a wimp.
-Showed clips from MEMRI tv which demonizes Palestinians, of course poor Jon wouldn’t know that bc he is an ignorant buffoon.
-His fans. One minute they will praise him as a brilliant political humorist who does more in revealing and commenting hard hitting topics than other media outlets. Next minute when he is criticized, they will go “but but, he’s just a comedian!” STFU ya fuckers.
-Oh yea not to mention he is buddy buddy with Anthony Weiner, NY congressman who might as well move to Israel for his Israel ass licking.

I don’t think Jon is in the dark side, but I do think he is very ignorant when it comes to many topics. He can’t even make his mind up about the Japan bombings. A man who is ignorant as he is should not be praised the way he is. Just stick to comedy, terrible unfunny comedy with no political tone involved.

  196. What

Great comment. I would only disagree a little with one aspect of it.

Jon is an extremely bright man with a very perceptive wit. He’s not “on the dark side”, but he is making a choice…

on one hand, he could go the route of Phil Donahue… or on the other, he could make the big bucks… and remain in the lifestyle he has grown accustomed to.

    he’s made a choice.

I think his recent interview with Ken Blackwell illuminates that point and I will be writing about it today or tomorrow.

Thank you for your insightfull comment.

(didn’t he live with Weiner at one point?)

  197. Not surprised, so much of the mess and wars around us have been instigated by same lunatics. Israeli lobbies seem bent on destrying world peace and US.

  198. Yea they were roommates. Jon even contributed to Weiner’s campaign

  199. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important(Christian Louboutin Boots).

  200. This article is a load of bollocks.
This type of bullshit does absolutely nothing to further the antizionist cause. You are just playing into their hands.
Did you not know that they love this kind of article as they can (correctly) say that it is nothing but antisemitic hate speech.

You will give decent antizionists like myself a bad name. Not all of us are antisemitic, you ignorant twat.

You are obviously just a racist prick who does not understand the situation. If you had just stuck to the facts, you might have written a decent article, but as it is, you are no bettter than those assholes at YNet, etc.
    Fuck Jon Stewart??? FUCK YOU!!

  201. lots of name calling, no facts, and accusations of anti-semitism….. hmmmm….

  202. This is all crap, if it were true that they were jews then surely it wouldnt come up on the internet.

It is just another plot so people would stop supporting al qaeda and sites like revolution muslim.

    As far as I know

Al Qaeda is a muslim Group
And that adam guy is also a muslim

  203. These guy are Israeli agents, not muslims:

Yousef al-Khattab (a.k.a. Joseph Leonard Cohen) He is an American born convert from Judaism, who is also an Israeli citizen. He founded the website RevolutionMuslim, now famous for threatening the producers of the show Southpark

Adam Gadahn’s real name is Adam Pearlman (Jew), he is the grandson of an ADL executive. The ADL who has been caught spying on thousands of Americans

Jews has been Caught over and over spying on America:
The Rosenbergs, Stephen Bryen, Jonathan pollard, Ben-ami Kadish, David A. Tenenbaum, Ariel J. Weinmann, Richard Perle, Stewart Nozette, Rosen & Weissman (aipac). The ADL has been caught spying on thousands of US citizens.
If you really think Israel is our friend, maybe you should read Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” and see The reality of our political situation.

  206. According to Scripture, allowing Jewish people to live outside of Israel is anti-Semitic, because encouraging The Diaspora violates God’s Law. Muslims are required to impose their religious code upon attaining a majority in any country.

In other words, let’s all love each but end immigration into the US for these two religions. Let the ones already here stay and live in peace.

Oh, and Jon Stewart is a fucking asshole, but the fact that our society gives a shit what he thinks is an indictment of us, not him. Stewart is just what God made him-a fucking asshole.

  207. “According to Scripture, allowing Jewish people to live outside of Israel is anti-Semitic, because encouraging The Diaspora violates God’s Law. Muslims are required to impose their religious code upon attaining a majority in any country.”

PJ you might be suffering from malnutrition.

You’re no different than the Cohen guy pretending to be a Muslim. This shit is all made up and makes no sense.

  208. “And the Lord spake unto me, saying. . . This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee . . . And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it . . . And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them. . . to drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance . . . And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee, thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them; neither shalt thou make marriages with them. . . ye shall destroy their altars and break down their images. . . For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God; the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth . . . And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them. . . But the Lord thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction until they be destroyed . . . He shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven, there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them . . . Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours. . . even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be . . . Of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shall save nothing alive that breatheth . . . thou shalt lend unto many nations and thou shalt not borrow . . . Ye shall utterly destroy all the places wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods. . .”

  209. The creed which was given force of daily law in Judah in 458 BC was then and still is unique in the world. It rested on the assertion, attributed to the tribal deity (Jehovah), that “the Israelites” (in fact, the Judahites) were his “chosen people” who, if they did all his “statutes and judgments”, would be set over all other peoples and be established in a “promised land”. Out of this theory, whether by forethought or unforeseen necessity, grew the pendent theories of “captivity” and “destruction”. If Jehovah were to be worshipped, as he demanded, at a certain place in a specified land, all his worshippers had to live there.

Obviously all of them could not live there, but if they lived elsewhere, whether by constraint or their own choice, they automatically became “captives” of “the stranger”, whom they had to “root out”, “pull down” and “destroy”. Given this basic tenet of the creed, it made no difference whether the “captors” were conquerors or friendly hosts; their ordained lot was to be destruction or enslavement.

Before they were destroyed or enslaved, they were, for a time, to be “captors” of the Judahites, not in their own right, but because the Judahites, having failed in “observance”, deserved punishment. In this way, Jehovah revealed himself as the one-God of all-peoples: though he “knew” only the “chosen people”, he would employ the heathen to punish them for their “transgressions”, before meting out the foreordained destruction to these heathen.

The Judahites had this inheritance thrust on them. It was not even theirs, for the “covenant”, according to these Scriptures, had been made between Jehovah and “the children of Israel”, and by 458 BC the Israelites, spurning the non-Israelitish Judahites, had long since been absorbed by other mankind, taking with them the vision of a universal, loving God of all men. The Israelites, from all the evidence, never knew this racial creed which was to come down through the centuries as the Jewish religion, or Judaism. It stands, for all time, as the product of Judah of the Levites.

The Controversy of Zion, Douglas Reed

  210. So, as you can see, my ideas derive from The Old Testament. I didn’t just “make them up”. I don’t expect any Zionist to discuss Douglas Reed beyond the usual baseless insults, so I win.Chest thump.

Jon Stewart is a hero of the rational. He told these guys to fuck off because they were willing to murder over a fucking cartoon. Jon Stewart has been one of the few people speaking for the rights of Muslims and against intolerance. If you don’t like free speech get the FUCK OUT!!!!

    • Did Jon Stewart point out that they were jews pretending to be muslims so as to smear muslims? Moron.

      • nor did he point out that South Park had shown the prophet in an earlier show and nothing happened. Some guys pretending to be Muslims to make them look bad and another guy promoting the disinfo to spread the hate to the liberal left. Stewart is no better than Glenn Beck or Bill O

  215. Whatever the way you look at Islam there is a need to share it with other people.

  216. Is Joseph really Muslim. I don’t believe he’s. Nobody can do what he does and not go to jail and unless you are working for Mossad/CIA

  217. Great article. It reminded me that the so-called “Christian” couple in Colorado who refused to bake a cake for a gay couple’s wedding were Jews who had allegedly converted.
